Sorry for the delay posting last week.
Getting some reno's done and the basement was finished midweek, so the process started to move the family downstairs so the first floor could get worked on.
Add that to my work load...and the game slipped. Should be better posting this week, but then next week I'm going out of town for a much delayed visit with family, so posting may get spotty that week as well.

I seem to be able to move! Thanks for posting us along.
How do you normally handle initiative? Are we going to wait for everyone to post in exact order even if there are no enemies in between? If so, could I perhaps suggest everyone posting whenever it is convenient for him or her instead and resolving it in the order of posting? This saves a huge amount of time in keeping things moving from my experience. Instead of every single player having to wait for everyone else to post in the listed order, they can simply post once and the GM can move the group along when everyone's done a post.

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know I'm not dead. The past two weeks have been a bit hard on me and I've been working through some issues. I'll be back soon, but I need to take a bit to work through some things. Please bot me if needed.

Hi guys,
Sorry I didn't get an update up this week. What with dealing with the renos, finishing moving downstairs so the contractor can start on the first floor on Monday, and getting ready to leave town for the week his morning....
I had been planning to keep up some posting this week, but have decided to leave all my responsibilities aside (work and play) this week. Having a week with nothing to do but have fun with family will do wonders I think for my brain after COVID, allowing me to come back refreshed in body, mind and spirit!
Expect a post to continue on or around the 26th.
Take care, Al.

Should have answered this before I went away!
Yeah, post when you're able, I'll post a prompt if needed, and sort out actions as I go.
Tomoe and Dragomir....were you waiting for your initiative turn to post?
I'll bot Mia for now.
The time off was great!

No problem, and good to see we're moving ahead again.
On that note, I regretfully admit that I'm going on a 1 week vacation starting tomorrow. I should be back on the evening of the 13th (of august). I'll have some internet access but will probably not be able to post daily. Please bot me if required. Best of fun/luck to everyone and hope to see you all when I get back!

Hey all, just popping in to let you know I'm still alive. I'm still working through some stuff, so not returning yet. Hopefully I will before we get too far into fall, but we'll see.
I hope all of you and yours are managing to stay safe with everything going on. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks and be well... real life, though a drag at times (adulting sucks), has to trump games.
I am pretty sure we'll still be here for a while.

Hi all. I was dumb and split Gatorade on my laptop. It's in for repairs until next week. So I won't be able to effectively post until then. Sorry.

Thanks for the update.
That said, do you believe you will be able to realistically continue the campaign and maintain a daily-ish posting rate? Asking this out of realism concerns for its longer term viability; it's been very slow going, and at the current rate I don't believe we will ever see the end of this campaign in even ten plus years.
While I welcome a chance to continue, I'd prefer not to do so if the campaign will only slow down again majorly in the near future (repetatively?), with more time invested in it and a lot of risk of player burnout during these slow streaks.
However, only you as the GM can judge whether your schedule will allow for a posting rate that will keep the game alive.
By the way, just to check, which other players are currently still here and reading this?

I'm also here. Computer went back into the shop, so I'm forced to do mobile, with ogre fingers.

Sorry, im still here. Life has just been extremely busy on my end, and tbh i thought this one wouldnt continue. Ill try and post tonight.

Hey guys, thanks for your patience.
Had bunch of Work, Family and Health issue pop up that took my attention away from this and my other games.
Ready to get back at it. Will have a post up to continue either later today or tomorrow.
If this and the other delays have soured you on continuing, I completely understand.
Hope you're feeling better Helaman!
Cheers, Al

Glad to be back. I'm looking forward to getting to play Mia again. Glad to see I haven't missed too much while I was away.

Welcome back adam/mia :)
Btw, @spaz, it's the rats' turns now, yes? Are you waiting on us or such?
Mia Curseborn
Sorry all, been busy the past several days and haven't had a chance to sit down and post. I'll try to catch up over the long weekend coming up. Boot as needed until then.
GM Spazmodeus
Sigh.
Alas, events have conspired to keep me away from my appointed rounds here.
Much appreciation for both your participation and patience.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Festivus for the Rest of Us....whatever you celebrate or don't , here's to good cheer and happiness this season to each of you and your families, near and far.
I'll get back into the swing of things early next week once all of the festivities have died down.

Hey everyone. I decided to come out and say here that I'll withdraw from the campaign. If I'm honest, it's partly that there were a lot of periods where there were large breaks, which made me lose interest over time.
I'm also lowering the number of campaigns I'm involved in due to RL concerns. I could just not say anything and fade away, but it feels disingenuous to Spaz since he still keeps us updated here. Still, thank you for the opportunity, Spaz and others here for the good roleplaying while it was active! Hope to see you all again some time.
@Spaz is there any chance you could put Harran as an inactive character so that the campaign would no longer show up on the overview screen?
Mia Curseborn
You will be missed Harran. I wish you luck and look forward to when we roll dice together again.

Hey all. As you probably noticed, I haven't been on in a little bit. Things have have changed for me personally and professionally. I've been sturggling with some mental issues for a while now that have been affecting things in my life to a fairly severe degree. I have a path forward, and it's going to be hard, but I can do and I'll be okay.
That said, I have also found that the enjoyment I got from playing online is not there anymore. I don't know if it's because I have gotten older or if it's because of the afforementioned mental issues, but either way I don't look forward to post like I did. It's been fun, and I have enjoyed the 10 years I've played on these boards. I need to be honest, though. I don't have the motivation for this that I used to have. I know that it's never fun to have someone leave a game, but I need to consider my mental wellbeing here. I wanted to let you all know that I'm okay and doing well, and I wanted to let you know that I'm leaving the boards, perhaps for good, but definitely for a long time.
Thank you all for the fun times and I wish you all the best. I pray that God will bless all of you. I hope that we'll meet again, but if not, know that I'm alright and will be grand. I just need to take some time to get myself together.
Love y'all
-Adam
