Deadline is roughly 14 hours. I will take a day or two to review, yes, that is long, but despite having already been looking at the entries, I'm going to have a closer look, also to reduce overlap and increase synergy.

Don't get your hopes up too much. We've got 2 books to go through yet, so that recruitment will happen, at best, in 2 years.

We're all in the same boat now. The GM for this hasn't posted in two weeks. So if there's a GM out there who's looking for a crew please consider the players who got accepted to this recruitment.

Our fledgling pirate crew was abandoned after two Gameplay posts. Please send help!

Sadly, we should have asked the GM about the previous games they had abandoned. But none of us want to be that guy. Well, at least most of the time we don't want to be...

Our S&S group is also coming to an early end, but our GM was great and took it for years. We’re about level 7 or 8 right now and it was a blast while it lasted.

Longest S&S game I saw that never got off the island in the first book was Tark's S&S game. Quickest one had the entire AP done in less than a year due to lots of communication between players and using chat programs.

I have TONS of material for S&S given the campaign I ran for my IRL group, but I don't think I have the time currently to run a full game for anyone (though this is likely the one I would do) outside my IRL group.

I can't make a promise that I can keep it going indefinitely, but I can try while I can if you guys don't mind going off book a little. I'd have much rather been a player as that's far easier to manage.

We can help each other keep things humming. Maybe the DM roll stuff like Perception and Initiative. Plus, I know people like trying to go off the rails some during an AP, but staying on track can help things moving.

I'd be willing to adopt this table for the completion of the first book (level 1-4) with the hopes katataban will return. However, I'd be preparing slides as I go. Also, I would insist on giving the Gameplay thread a soft reset and would like to see all the characters have the Swim skill.

Arendk, if one of the players is AWOL, you could step in with your character for the first book and take over later if you wanted. Or, if you'd definitely like to GM here, that's cool too. I'll cheer you on! :)

ArendK or Ventiine I'd be happy with either of you GMing. I will trust your judgement on however you want to approach taking the game on.

Groups call honestly.

If Ventline is down for it, we could run two groups effectively. One of us will take the original picked group and shoot messages to X amount of others if they are down for the other group (you guys were picked and excited, so I don't see any reason to exclude the original group except GM's preference on the characters). The chargen rules were more or less what I use for my group IRL, so my preparations are there.

Just because I'm rarely at my desktop for more than an hour or so each day (usually doing stuff for 3d printing) I'd likely have a discord up for my group to move things along as well if that works for everyone.

If we're doing two groups and one group is adding Abel of Rahadoum I'd like to be in that group. I've played with him many times and we play well together.

Keeping a close eye - with the early end of my group, it’d be great if I could find a spot in one of these groups here. :)

I would vote to play with Ventiine, simply because I have no experience on Discord. I really appreciate both of you coming on board (heh) like this.

Discord is more for ease of communication than playing as I'm always tethered to my thrice accursed phone rather and that's handy for me.

Ventline, do you have a discord name or something that has easy access so I can quickly communicate with you how we'd like to handle this?

I haven't dived into all the character sheets of the characters that I think would make a good team and story yet beyond those selected at a cursory glance of the list I do have some I rather like the look of, but I don't want to tip my hand yet.

For those who are following and were previously selected, is there groupings between the 5 of you that y'all would like to stay together?

Oh, I'm not going to use Discord. Everything will be here on the forums. And I'm only volunteering to adopt through the completion of the first book (levels 1-4) with the hopes that katataban will return. I feel sympathy for you all and I am curious as to how this game runs compared to Kingmaker and Azlant. My real-life group is planning on running the Skull and Shackles AP next, so I'm curious about the mechanics and how classes play out in this setting.

I will document everything in a "storybook" to make it easier for something to pick up book 2. All combat will be on Google Slides. I will run everything extremely similar to my Ruins of Azlant game (and again, my Azlant game gets first posting privileges because it's my baby.)

Let me organize a text blub and we'll move this to the Discussion, then Gameplay tabs.
