The party makes their way through the vents back to Zarta's office.
how is the party going to get back to the waiting room? Same path out as in? different route?
Ver'Yanion Talthenar |
Ver’Yanion gives the rooms a quick once over, and suggests the team hurry back the way they came in, though perhaps skipping. The servants quarters.
Ringo George |
"Are we able to skip the quarters? Or maybe I'm thinking of the kitchen/serving room?"
Ver'Yanion Talthenar |
"Take the back corridor, through the serving room, out to the garden, back in through the front corridor, and thence to the waiting room. Should be pretty straightforward, right?"
[ooc]If we didn't check the back room, indicated by the arrow, Ver'Yanion will open that door and check it out."[/b]
Gronak |
”we have been gone a long time. While they likely don’t care if they make us wait, we could just as likely be walking back to a room full of guards. I agree, we should take the path we know.”
Gronak wraps his sword back into the cloth covered bundle and attempts to make it look like he has some kind of task to complete.
Lugrok |
The ork nods at Gronaks words.
"Best the way we are aware, but still quietly. Also.. are we still moving as stealthily as we did before? Urk may be hard to explain if someone sees him."
Lugrok reaches down a bit, scritching the ruff on the back of Urks shoulders with a light smile. Urk snorts quietly, his head raising just a bit in happiness.
Wrofyx Kesgalna Nackl |
"The elixirs work for an hour so it will be close but I think we should make it back ok. Everyone ready?"
Wrofyx answers Lugrok before stepping over to the door and readying to open it.
Ringo George |
Ringo stretches and shakes out any bits of broken chair from his outfit. He then nods to indicate his readiness.
GM.Kashka |
The party did exceptionally well getting through the party, and to take the path back, even with some bad dice, you will easily get back without incident
The party retraces their steps through the Embassy, collecting extra servant disguises along the way. Urk even manages to sneak a turkey leg from a platter before getting out the back.
Upon reaching the waiting room, the pathfinders collect their stashed gear, and wait several minutes before the door opens and the Ambassador steps into the room. "I am told you have urgent information for me. What is it that needed to interrupt my Gala?"
Ver'Yanion Talthenar |
Ver'Yanion simply hands the packet that they were given to the Ambassador.
"Thank you, sir. We were under orders to hand this to you directly. We were only following orders."
bluff: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Lugrok |
SImply stays quiet, letting the others do the talking.
Ringo George |
"And we would be punished harshly for failing to follow those orders."
bluff/aid: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

The Ambassador rolls his eyes at the party's explanation while taking the envelope. "Very well. Thank you for your contributions."
He turns around and departs. His guards standing outside ready to escort you out of the embassy.
Upon returning to the Grand Lodge, Ambrus Valsin thanks each of you for the excellent work. "I had high hopes for this team from what I was told by Venture Captain Xar'z. You even managed to exceed them. Here is a token of my gratitude, as well as your payment."
He hands each of you a token stamped with the House of Thrune’s insignia. Boon
