Arbiscar |
"Gods blast you damned flying sickle" Arbiscar frowns at the force spiritual weapon, and he rushes forward around the room to engage the zombie. He uses his Agile Feet blessing to travel easily through Menarul's bomb difficult terrain.
Reaching the column where the zombie stands he tries to smash the undead with his silver hammer "This is payment for your sins. Creature you are next"

The survivors are still shaky, but are slowly calming down.
Arbiscar |
"Are you all right?" Arbiscar addresses the survivors while hanging his hammer back to his back.
"That over there is the exit door, isn't it? If you have the strength for it, it is better for you to leave now" if some of them are too wounded to leave by themselves, Arbiscar will heal them, or channel if they are more than one.
Only then the dwarf attends to the fallen enemy "Who was that woman? Does she have anything in the body that points what was she doing here?"
GM Chyro |

GM Chyro |
Nobleman #2: "They came from that door.", he points to the door leading east on the map.
None have a bell ringing upon hearing Wuthers' name.
The old man straightens his clothes.
"Enough already. I have business outside. You lot, are you mercenaries? If so, i am to be kept safe so i can leave this building."

The dwarf tries to read the note.
GM Chyro |
Oi, forgot to mention the note is now next to the combat map.
Loyalists of the Grim Harvestman, our time has come!
My plan to recover the stone, blessed by our beloved Harbinger of Unexpected Tragedy Himself, has succeeded beyond my wildest hopes.
The fool Pathfinder I convinced to journey here has fed the strength of our Lord by encountering an unexpected tragedy of his own. His hard work for Grim was not in vain!
Come to me at once, at the appointed hour and place, and we shall lay
out a bounty before mighty Zyphus that He won’ t soon forget. When Pharasma, hated cretin, lies slain in the bowels of hell and our mighty harbinger rules the afterlife, He will reward His faithful few with everlasting life and power of unspeakable might!

Menarul stretches and then looks at the door and back to the nobleman. "You know we could help those people hiding out in the orchestra pit and the people here and see if we can't make sure the escape routes we keep recommending are actually clear. If there's necromancers in the building trying to raise more zombies we should probably be more careful about keeping the people who are still alive, well, alive."
He takes a squint-eyed look at the holy symbol for a moment, before his player remembers he doesn't have knowledge (religion) trained, and gives a shrug. Is that some minor deity of undead or death? Some funky sect of Urgotha? Seems ultimately unimportant."
When the note gets passed to him, Meanrul'S face falls.
He does however have Knowledge (Planes)!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Not that he can roll high for it...
Booting Pharasma out of the Boneyard... would be hard to do right? Can't quite see how some zombies would have the power to do that..."
Etna Luul |
”Well I’ve never known cultists to be the logical types. All that matters about their beliefs now are they seem obviously violent and are here to cause as much mayhem as possible. Their goal seems to be some rock though. I think it’s best we track it down to put a end to this, and see if we can recover the body. It sounds like our possible rescue mission is now a recovery one.”
Arbiscar |
"Zyphus? How the heck is that cretin? These people are crazy if they think they can just slay Pharasma and put whomever they think as the new protector of the Boneyard... but they are causing such a chaos anyway" Arbiscar turns the note to see if there is anything else written there "We should stop them before they cause more bloodshed."
"We must find the place where they are gathering" Arbiscar resolves to open the eastern door and have a look on what seems a lounge or tavern.
GM Chyro |
The old man is taken aback at Asuran's words.
*grumble*greedy lizard*grumble
"I am Magistros Sebastus Hustavan, Emperor Stavian III’s consul for the fourth district of Oppara Prefecture. My money has nothing to do with this disaster, why do you care?"
Hustavan is a tall, frighteningly thin man of advanced age. His short, gray hair sticks to his head as if it were bathed in cooking oil and his
thick, white beard, meticulously trimmed and braided, positively glistens with wax. He wears the finery of his office, a blue silk shoulder sash over long white robes, and his fingers are encrusted with bejeweled rings.
Meanwhile, Arbiscar carefully opens the door....
The interior is that of a small lounge, save the normal chatter of theater visitors on break, is replaced by the blood smears and corpses of both zombies and people. He notices a small gasp coming from behind a set of chairs, a corner easily overlooked otherwise. A small child clutching a doll to her chest sits curled up in the corner.
She is shaken, but seemingly relieved to see living people that do not look like the death cleric of just now.
"There was more screaming coming from over there. I heard it when the sound here stopped."
Etna Luul |
Upon seeing that there seems to be a child in trouble Etna will move quickly into the room to survey it for any dangers before trying to calm the child down.
"Let's get you someplace a bit safer. You did well staying hidden, but we are here to help now."

GM Chyro |
Good, you are a braveboygirl

This time, the others catch up with Arbiscar as he takes point.
Near the door, there is a distinct smell of decay, like a corpse dead for at least several weeks.
Opening the door, he sees the other side's door handle all bloodied, with the corpse at his feet seemingly having slid off the door in its final moment. Along with it, several others, including the man who was at the counter when you came in.
The door across, however, is slightly ajar.

He steps in closer so that there's no one in his way if possible and fires an arrow at the lady with the pickaxe again. Trying to look for the Ectoplasmic arrow he fired earlier. The arrow was durable, meaning it won't be destroyed on a miss and the dosing stays valid for a minute or until it hits. If he can, Menarul would try to get the thing back to perhaps fire again. I understand if you rule that the arrow missing and 'hitting' the ground etc. gets rid of the effect, though.
