This is the recruitment forum for Where Mammoths Dare Not Tread, a First Edition Pathfinder scenario from season 5, Year of the Demon. This is a for the Outpost IV online convention, so all recruitment for this scenario will be done through the Outpost IV sign up sheet. Please don't post here until you have signed up there.

I've been playing this character for almost 5 years, and stoked he finally gets to visit his homeland!

I signed up - I get to see dinosaurs, right? I heard there were some on Mediogalti island, but that's a lot harder to get to...

Good to see there are already some recruits showing up. I think without spoiling too much, I can confirm that there will be at least one dinosaur or megafauna in this scenario. But I won't say more than that.

Well, to be fair, there is one on the cover of the scenario, so it's only to be expected. Meylara is a Saurian Shaman Druid, so hopefully we can recruit them to our cause!

Rolling my day job check for the slides

Profession (Herbalist): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Also, going to spend 21,000 gp before the session to upgrade my armor from +2 to +5.

day job craft alchemy : 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33

Okay, First of all..

Day Job(Calligraphy): 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (10) + 18 = 28

Secondly, Carina has the Master Librarian boon from the Dark Archive Season 8 Faction Goal sheet. This allows her to claim up to 3 magical or alchemical items with a total cost of 100gp per level(So, 900gp for now) As such, I'm claiming 2 scrolls of Haste, and a scroll of Web.

filled out the slides...one thing though...my Initiative gets a +2 as long as I have panache...didn't want to make it +9 on the off chance it I run out...just to clarify...

Yes, but not using it for initiative.

Yes, will use it for intiative, and picking up a wand of it before the scenario starts. I can add it into the block on the slide if you want. It's not included now.

I use Heightened Awareness, but usually not for initiative as well.

Oh...that spell...so hard to keep track of it in PbP. Yeah, I think if you are someone that plans on using it for initiative just include it in the slides, keeping it separate from your normal initiative. (for example 1d20+5+4) If we run into the odd situation like a fight where you have no chance of preparing beforehand than I'll remember to take it off. Considering the long duration that it has, that kind of situation should be relatively uncommon.
