I remember now, I got the mission to look for him from Colonel douche bag, then some chick gave me his finger or whatever to make it look like he was dead, so that was that.
I always told that kid he should absolutely run away from home.
I just did this part of Fallout 3 for the first time last night and I had no idea Harkness was the android! I just gave him the finger to think he was dead and it ended there.
And I told the little s&~@ to run away too. But then the really nice little girl (Cindy maybe?) who had kept telling you that you were a hero tells you you're a bad person. So I felt really bad. And then the brat was right outside so I told him to go back to his mom. Then she liked me again.
I'm a sucker for trying to make NPCs I like keep liking me. Even without mechanical support. This is also why I don't like taking companions in Fallout or Skyrim. I don't want them to see what I do when I'm alone in the bad places.

So what's the best way of rampaging Big MT?
I have the Jukebox and Autodoc personalities.
Are there people I can find to tag along to absorb Lobotomite fire keep me company.
Do I get the rest of the personality files first, I went down by the plant experiment place but bit it in the courtyard (high explosive missiles wasn't my best option in enclosed spaces it turned out. :-D

You can get a canine friend, but the problem is finishing the area outside the lab where you get her spawn a mob of Lobotomites who inevitably kill her the moment you step outside. If you're not on hardcore and/or otherwise are luckier/more skilled than I, that's probably not a problem. Some have used her quite effectively.
I would otherwise suggest following quests for armor and/or weapons that might pop up.
IIRC I recall a good route for me was going to the medical facility to get healing items and Autodoc upgrades... There's a decent suit of armor there too, though you may well have better. Then I went to the facility to recover the Stealth Suit, which even if you are not stealthy is a useful suit of armor because it can auto-heal you if stimpaks are in your inventory. You have to be careful though as if needed she will also iirc inject you with med-x, hydra, and super stimpaks and then you may have to deal with ensuing addiction/debuff.

Ninjaed by Redbeard. I don't recall Rosie being killed in one hit, and she definitely can leave with you, but she can be easily overwhelmed since she's close range only.
ETA: I was wrong, Roxie won't go beyond a certain point. She is however "revivable" (you can repeat the process you get her multiple times).

Look for Christine's sniper rifle near the prison camp. I friggin' love that gun.
More useful than the Gobi Scout Rifle and a hell of a lot easier to secure.
Check literally everywhere. Big MT is swimming in decent-to-good hardware, and there are skill book recipes and ways for the Sink's personalities to turn most inventory-clogging trash into something useful.

Well, I killed Gabe, found the whatever he buried (pats on the back for noticing that little tidbit after noticing the shovel, handily laying on the floor, that place is annoying, then I get attacked by a+#!$ robot scorpions on my way out, I'm guessing, that's just what they do.
Anyway, off to give someone their f+*%ing dog bowl, it better have been worth it.
I'm also super glad Veronica and I tracked down that Pulse Gun before I went to Big MT, that's been handy, especially against the robot dogs.
Lastly, I am now a huge fan of the puppy gun, the damage caused, oh my god! Everything is mowed down in seconds! It is fairly useless with VATS tho, but if you're just spraying it, yeah, that's some fun stuff.
For science!!!

The bayou was my favorite DLC for Fallout 3, hands down.
Such a f@!+ed up place.
The Pitt is great to, especially when you climb to the top and look down as the sun comes up, priceless.
Now if only I can work on not accidentally killing dude's wife... uh, yeah, she's working on that cure alright, better days ahead... I'm just going to go now, yeah, I'm totally bringing teddy bears back, you bet'cha, as many as I can carry.

Got the satellite dish, I need to back to that stupid school place, go thru it again to be able to sonic emit force fields I think, moving along, getting s~%$ mapped out, just found the talking stealth armor, I'm not sure I care for it, I'm very careful with my Stimpak taking, I fear it will abuse them.
Turns out Fido (my k-9000) has a taste for nightstalker, so tasty in small morsels!

I'm pretty sure the talking stealth armor is my favorite character in the game. "We haven't seen anyone for a while. Maybe the monsters have stealth suits too."

The suit is fairly sparing with Stimpaks, actually...it's less jumpy than I am, and there's a built-in cooldown.
Now, Med-X... it's a LIIIIIITTLE trigger-happy with Med-X.
But since I make a point of giving all of my Med-X to Julie Farkas, I seldom have to worry.

It turns out, when you have a sniper rifle, nightstalkers can't swarm you, they're too busy figuring out why their heads explode, I might feel bad about it, if I hadn't just came from Dead Money. Ha! Take that f#$~ers, the turntables have turned!!
This rampage was brought to you by Bent Tin Can. Bent Tin Cans, they're f$*%ing everywhere.

Finally finished Dead Money yesterday; my initial impression was fairly accurate. Worth playing once, but otherwise I think I'll skip it if I ever play through the game again. The bunker as a base and the vending machine are definitely nice, but I'm not sure I can do something quite that tedious a second time around.
Needless to say, Honest Hearts has been a refreshing change of pace :)
