"We should go now. Thanks for your help, Tai. Jay, you got Tai's digits in case we need to get him later?" 0nyx starts slowly drifting off in the direction of Raptor's bike.
It's been nearly a month IRL, I can't remember is Jay got Tai's number, or Stretch's . Tilnar, if Jay didn't get Tai's he'll ask for the number now in response to 0nyx's query.
Also, Jay's got B/R Cars 2. Could that be used to hotwire a vehicle?
Tilnar
Primarily need electronics to get into the car first... and then to disable the autonav and pilot programs so the car doesn't just drive you to the police. That said, in the Barrens, a lot of the cars are more likely to be older and in less good shape -- and probably owned by people who don't like the cops -- enough that the autonav to Lone Star stuff is already pulled.

0nyx shakes her head. "There were a bunch of weapons Mr. Johnson didn't mention, so we left them - hidden - to avoid trouble. I didn't find much besides some traps and impressions. I have an imprint of the item we're looking for. That'll help us distinguish fakes. I think Figment pulled surveillance and that might help us more than anything."
She shrugs. "As to what the arsenal was, guns is guns."
Jay Gould
"Mr. Johnson, " Jay pauses, self-consciously. "Seemed mostly worried about the custom piece, the statue, and the gold. I think you're right. We can leave the gun stash, and we won't have to go round the gun dealers. Looks like we've made some progress. Let's take a look at that tape and see what we can figure out. "
Tilnar
Figment chuckles, "Reckon it's about what you'd expect in a resupply hidey-hole for a high-caliber Shadowrunner. I'll be needin' a minute or so to cut the video into smaller pieces so I can share it and we can start our "have you seen this person" exercise. Still, might be a good idea that we all watch the whole thing, in case there's something that I'd not know to be lookin' for."
He pauses, then asks, "So, I guess the bigger question at the moment, though, is do we warn Stretch about what's about to fall on him?"
Jay Gould
"I like Stretch. And could earn a considerable amount of pocket money betting on him in October. But I wouldn't want to endanger our working relationship with the Silver Ring Triad. Certainly not by calling from a phone that could be traced back to me. I would caution all of you to be prudent in this regard and refrain from any action which might threaten our neutrality. I understand that if you had a clean phone that has never been used, it might present a great temptation. I urge you in the strongest possible terms to resist that temptation."
Jay reaches deep into the interior of his overcoat. His hand emerges cupped around a very small phone. His other hand draws a handkerchief from his sleeve, transfers it to the phone hand to cover the device.
"Did someone need a handkerchief?"

We are hilariously bad at this. Is it a function of historically playing characters from a medieval setting?
"I guess that solves our conundrum. In the future, one of us should get every contact's contact information."
And in this case it should have been me. Jay's supposed to be a networker, a minor hustler. Jay gave Stretch his info too so Stretch could call when the Skull's leader was ready for a talk.
0nyx
Is Eyes still around? He had a 2 hour work shift, if I recall, but I haven't seen him since I left the apartment.
0nyx wipes her face with a bare hand, then reaches for Jay's hanky. "Thanks, man. I hate how damp and rainy it is here."
She quickly checks the number for Finnegan's Wake and tries to connect, pretending to wipe the damp and sweat from her eyes with the cloth to keep the phone handy.
I am seriously embarrassed that we didn't get Stretch's number.
Tilnar
The voice sighs, then you hear a few beeps before a male voice answers, "Calling about the bike? Shouldn't be long - probably ready by the time you get back -- worst case, after one drink."
Tilnar
Stretch starts with questions, "Wait - what? Where? Who--", but his voice cuts off as 0nyx disconnects. About a minute later, the burner phone beeps with a text, "Everyone home, and bring your biggest friends."
0nyx
0nyx grimaces and tucks the phonekerchief in her pocket. "I'll clean this up and return it to you, Jay. Thanks for the loan. It got the job done, I think." Shaking her head, she continues, "Shall we move along to your place? The usual relay? A couple of us can hang back and buy supplies, then two bikers can come back and pick us up?"
She pauses uncomfortably for a second and continues, "...unless you want to go help?"
Tilnar
Figment shrugs, "Not gonna lie, don't hate the idea of helpin' Guardian's friends... Downside is that I'm not thinkin' it's cyberdeck combat -- so I'm suddenly not at my best. And sure, I can work a gun, but big, blue fuzzies tend to stand out.. especially since I'm drek with a sniper rifle."
Jay Gould
Jay's head snaps back up to look directly at the tow elves. A smile flashes across his face, quickly suppressed by the weight of his furrowing brow. "I did like Stretch more than Tai. It's a gamble. We'll make enemies of the Silver Ring -- that could make it hard to dig around here. But it would get us tight with the Skulls. "
He looks around at Danny, and Raptor. "If we're going, it's got to be all for one. We'll need you for the heavy lifting. "
Tilnar
Figment nods, "Me too. But, still, I'd not be too sad if 0nyx could magic us up some snazzy disguises." He then turns to Jay, "Raptor reviewed the arsenal - think it was mostly long guns."
0nyx
"I can probably afford a few Halloween masks from the convenience store," 0nyx offers. "I might be able to confuse a few people, too, but we're gonna either have to not look like ourselves, hide, or bite the bullet and declare ourselves." She looks at the skies. "Can you wrangle drones, Fig?"
Tilnar
Figment shakes his head, "No. I mean, I can plug in and tell 'em where to go but I ain't got a VCR, so best I can do is hope their AI ain't drek. Other than the chem boosting my reflexes and a few pieces of hardward, I've put every punt I've ever had into building -- and rebuilding -- my deck."
He shrugs, "Cheap disguises might be enough, suppose it'll depend how chaotic it all gets... "
Tilnar
My recollection was that Raptor didn’t find anything worth taking - or better than our existing gear. Is that right?

"You all armed?" Raptor asks the others. "If you're not carrying, there are pieces in the stash worth taking. And I guess if we're looking for shock and awe, a few grenades couldn't hurt."
Thank you, Tilnar! I had to look up all those guns. Probably nothing Raptor would take, because he is very well outfitted. But others might not be walking arsenals like he is.
