Night of the Gray Death

Eldrin studies his book, and one of the creepy fiends runs around under the Baku Juju Zombie and slashes at Drusilla with its shortsword.

Shortsword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

Drusilla easily dodges the blade however.

Dru manages to give the ghost a facefull of morningstar, even if her first attack lack of her usual skill

No wisecracking ither, as the situation might be dire very quickly.

Night of the Gray Death

Huxwren stabs down powerfully at the prone child-fiend, but her dagger clangs off the stonework as it passes through a blurry after-image. Her subsequent attacks are then put off from the vibration in the blade.

Taariik similarly is confounded by the blurry image at first, but his second blow rends the creature completely in twain, coating the holy mosaic with foul gore.

Redirecting Drusilla's attacks to 1, and throwing in a 5-foot step so that she doesn't have to deal with the cover of the pillar. I assumed you'd pick 1 rather than 5 as it will give you cover from the Baku, and one hasn't used its inflict wounds yet so you probably want it dead first!

Drusilla steps over the fresh corpse and smashes her morningstar into the recently-sighted fiend. She hits twice, only its unholy resistance saving it from being utterly destroyed.

The Baku descends a little in order to be able to reach Dru, then unleashes a flurry of attacks. Whatever dark energy has animated the noble Baku seems to have given it a hatred of everything it was represented, goodness and life.

Dru's AC is 29 against these attacks due to the protection from evil and the cover from the fiend

When it tries to gore her, the little daemon gets in the way, and the Baku roars in range and attacks it!

Night of the Gray Death

Grunyak conjures a spiritual hammer that waves in the general direction of the severely injured child-fiend that Drusilla just almost pulped, but it is easily avoided. That same fiend sees it's in danger and attempts to cast a spell defensively.

Eldrin sends some missiles toward the daemons. Judging two as enough to slay the injured one, he is disappointed to see that it remains on its feet after they impact, though only barely.

The other one takes three without breaking a sweat, though it thinks better of a frontal assault and instead takes a step back and begins conjuring motes of magic around itself.

Dru the Baku has gone up slightly, so it's 10 feet above the ground. That means it can threaten you with its natural reach but you don't currently threaten it with your Morningstar. You could switch to a reach weapon or a ranged weapon or something instead?

Taariik we haven't gotten to the next round yet, but I anticipate the Baku will still be there and in range after it's go so I'll take that as your next action when it comes up if you like

@Dru It would be a move action to draw the silversheen and a standard to apply it, but I'll assume you want to forgo that after Huxwren's advice to use cold-iron on this enemy, in which case you could take a second shot?

Drusilla knocks an arrow and fires, but it just bounces off the Baku's hide. Huxwren has better luck hitting her target, but again the metal of the dagger seems to have no effect on the once magical beast.
It resisted all of the damage (unless you really don't need cold-iron and I'm missing something!)

Grunyak prays to Torag and finds the master strategist particularly receptive; powerful healing washes over the group mending their cuts and bruises, though the spiritual hammer finds the Baku too tough to hit.

Taariik though manages to cut it, holding his bardiche and cutting up at its exposed belly. The blade slices dead flesh, but some of it heals over immediately. His second slice catches in some of the entrails hanging beneath it and fails to penetrate.

Resisted much of the damage. I think you've seen enough to deduce that it has DR 10/cold iron
