What kind of people? Ancestry and such? Does it look like they may be missing from the original settlement? I'd like to set them free but not if they are going to drown.
Eustice will pantomime holding his breath with exaggerated puffed out cheeks and point to them in turn, then cock his head in a questioning manner.

Aye, does it look like they would be in danger should the force field suddenly go away? Not that Fang is overly concerned, but he’s not looking to harm folks that don’t deserve it
Fang and Atlan swim closer to the force field and will examine the area around it.

There are 3 people total all humans. 2 in the cell on the left and 1 on the right. After looking at the levers you can use them to weaken so you or them can pass thru. If the force field completely goes down it would flood the cells almost instantly. Its hard to tell where they are from because the clothes they have are tattered and unrecognizable.
| Atlan Moredoo |
Atlan will move up to the control and see if he can figure out which ones do what.
Perception?: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
if it’s disable device instead, the bonus would be +18

okie dokie. Just trying to make sure we understand the controls before we goof up and kill folks. Lol. If he understands how to work it, Atlan would allow for the walls to be pass thru and Fang would move into one of the cells
”Uh, Miss Mary or Euie, you gots spells or somethin to let em breathe?”
