Under a fullisade of arrows, bolts, and acid, the lizard floats on the surface of the water, quite dead. the slight current begins drifting it slowly away to regions unknown.

Stone shelves have been cut into the walls of this room, and each shelf is heaped with dried mushrooms, baskets of herbs, root vegetables, and other fragrant foodstuffs. Empty baskets and cloth sacks lie in a pile in one corner. Three troglodytes work here, sorting herbs into various baskets on the shelves.

Malgrim moves cautiously ahead, defensively banging on their drum, causing shards of sound to rip through the three troglodytes in short order. Ryll, likewise, moves quickly, her strike taking the yellow-scaled trog low in the torso and dropping it to the ground insensible. Kinig closes with the red-hued troglodyte, her battleaxe whistling over its head, but that creates an opening for the half-elf siblings for a well-placed arrow through the thick of melee and incapacitates the reddish troglodyte, an arrow protruding from its shoulder. The remaining Trog looks a little frightened, but bravely stands its ground, even as it is slow to understand what's happening! Pharus quickly loops through the room, cutting off the last one's escape route, and its doom seems sealed.

Zdena crosses the room, striking down the standing Trog with finality and force! The combat was overwhelming in the darkness, sudden, and violent, three defenders vanquished in the blink of an eye, and none of the strike force even touched by the scaly defenders of the warren.
Looking around the room, this room contains 10 PP worth of stored greens, herbs, and root vegetables.
Which I assume you'll be leaving and returning to later possibly? Please feel free to RP or anything, before approaching door #2!
Premek |
Premek just nods at the party's efficiency, encounter resolved without him doing anything at all. He pads towards the opening to the next chamber.

Malgrim looks a little green and shaken by the slaughter they took part in. Glancing at Sighere and Pharus they remember the living they are fighting to save and their resolve firms. They move with renewed purpose to join Premek at the northern passage.

A sharp drop leads to a large chamber. Rough stone steps have been cut at the end of the tunnel, easing the downward passage. Faces loom from the walls, cut from the natural stone in the form of reptilian visages. Their mouths are open, filled with jagged teeth, and their oval eyes lack pupils, making them seem blind. The charred remains of a fire sit within a bowl in the center of the room.
Four Troglodytes are in this chamber, and one dressed in robes yells at you, এই পবিত্র স্থান ছেড়ে দিন! আপনি আপনার নরম গোলাপী স্কিনগুলি দিয়ে এটি অশুচি করবেন না, এখানে আর আর থাকবেন না!

Malgrim rushes into the room, gagging from the stronger stench of the robed Troglodytes, and their rapier fails to penetrate the scaly hide of the purple-robed trog. Ryll, however, quickly enters the room, and immediately dispatches her target, dropping the surprised trog to the ground with a quick thrust.
The Orange-robed trog looks slightly panicked, but continues berating the interlopers in their strange language, বোকা বোকা!
Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Ryll must make a DC 13 Will save or become frightened- A frightened creature flees from the source of its fear as best it can. If unable to flee, it may fight. A frightened creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. A frightened creature can use special abilities, including spells, to flee; indeed, the creature must use such means if they are the only way to escape. Success means she is instead "Shaken" for 1 Round - Shaken: A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

Lirosa's arrow skims over Malgrim's shoulder, clipping the robed troglodyte they are facing.
The troglodyte facing Malgrim and Pharus steps back, focusing in a similar way, but instead launching a stream of acid at Malgrim. But missing horribly instead...

Ryll shakes off the compulsion to flee, but is instead shaken, but can still act normally. Premek's acid spray misses wildly, and the troglodytes spot where the cat is trying to hide. Sighere's spell renders the troglodyte insensible and it cannot overcome the spiritual curse Sighere lays on it.
Taidal sights an arrow at the spellcaster in the back, firing into its torso, and nicking the troglodyte through its robes. Kinig, sickened from the overwhelming stench of the spellcasting troglodytes, advances, battleaxe held high.

As you are leaving the room, Ryll sees something: in one of the mouths of the carvings in this room, she finds a well-worn pair of boots!
Boots
Heading into chamber #3: The tunnel descends into an irregularly shaped chamber with many alcoves and nooks along the uneven walls. Directly opposite the tunnel mouth, a carving on the wall shows a creature hatching from an enormous egg. A low fire flickers in a wide, shallow pit about halfway between the tunnel and the carving. Large stones are piled around the edge of the firepit, their sides blackened. More stones sit within the nooks around the perimeter of the cavern, near piles of dried grasses and animal pelts. This appears to be the tribal sleeping chamber.
Scattered around the chamber are a variety of personal possessions, mostly crude stone tools or rudimentary jewelry. Of note however are the following:
A dozen semiprecious stones (various)
6 crossbow bolts
Masterwork dagger
Masterwork hide armor
Masterwork stone masonry tools
