I forgot you got Studied Target. Nothing like giving the scythe more damage haha The balance is that it's a move action (until level 9), which makes it a slight challenge for a melee build to use.

Yeah, I have to move in, then study the target in the second round in most situations- at least until level 4 when I get Sneak Attack because I still get to study as immediate when I hit with sneak attack and (hopefully) by then the croc will be able to get me flanks most of the time.

I'm confused, too lol The statue is at K1. The door forward that Lash attempted to disarm is at K11. I assumed you were running towards K11. Where are you trying to go?

It sounds like he is wanting to rush the statue, but didn't notice where it was on the map? I think you are only a move action and can attack if that's what you were wanting to do. There is nothing to attack down near the door where Lash is.


With Shiv not posting yet, I'm going to have Shiv delay his action and have the statue go. Shiv, if you clarify your action before Lash posts at the top of Round 2, I'll put it in Round 1. If not, whenever you post, that will be your new spot in the initiative.

OK. If you want to say you Delay until after Kahli and she moves, you can definitely 5' step into her spot (L10).

So it would be:

Round 2
- Sim: Crit
- Lash: Delay
- Kahli: Something with moving
- Lash: Flurry & 5' step to L10

And Lash would be between Kahli and the Statue in Initiative going forward.

Lash's attack with Bit of Luck from Kahli will take out the Statue. Sim wouldn't take it out, even with a max crit.

Kahli, if you're cool with using another Bit of Luck, we will end the combat and move on. If not, we'll play out all of Round 3.

Using charges from the wand just in case I need my spells to harm/heal myself....

CLW on SIM: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

I'm OK with using the charges. Save the other magic for when we need it! Once we level up a few more we'll need better than a CLW wand!

Not sure if it would matter, but Sim's AC only increases once he attacks, thus for the AOOs his AC would be 22.

Lash: From the Acrobatics entry on avoiding AoOs: "When moving in this way, you move at half speed. You can move at full speed by increasing the DC of the check by 10."

The crappy part about this is that if you move half-speed, you either end on Sim's space (which you can't do) or next to a Centipede (which will provoke if you fire your bow).

Let me know if you want to:

A) Increase DC by 10 for the two Centipedes by the door and by 12 for Centipede 3 (rule says +2 for each additional enemy you attempt to avoid in one round). This will allow you to get to F11 and get a clear shot off.

B) Move half-speed and end in I10 or I12.

C) Something else?

Kahli: With Shiv's offer of a 5'-step, if you wanted to take his place, you could delay until after his turn then cast Guidance on Lash then move to J11, and that wouldn't change anything events-wise.

Kahli: If you want to move in Round 2, it would be:

- Shiv: Attack. 5-foot-step from J11 to I10
- Kahli: Cast Guidance on Lash. Move to either K11 or J11
- Lash: Moves from L11 to F11. Attack

Because of the order of the turns, you can't move to where Lash was (L11) and still cast Guidance on her.
