"If he's fighting the restraints just cut him! His blood won't stay invisible once it's all over the floor...."
Greta Gyllenhår
lol, wow! two nat 20s spoiled by the miss chance, that is rough.
Greta watches as her companions struggle to get the manacles on the invisible foe, unsure whether to be amused by the sight of several adults seemingly trying to chain the air or worried by how how difficult to subdue their opponent must be. Eventually she asks, "won't their spell wear out?"
"I mean, they can't stay invisible forever, right? And once we can see them it'll be way easier to chain them up... or, I could come give them a whack with my hammer and when the spell wears off we'll find out if they're unconscious or dead?"
Tristan de Lion
Tristan grins at Greta.
Whack away, my good Greta!

Escape Grapple: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Note: This happens before Tristan's turn, so immediately thereafter he grapples them again, though they're not pinned anymore.
In the confused struggle against their invisible opponent, Tristan feels them slip free of his grasp, and they climb to their feet...only for Tristan to somehow grab hold of them again. "Get off me!" shouts a gruff voice, boiling over with anger.

Stowing his shield Junior sneaks up behind Tristan he holds his glaive high. As Tristan struggles with the enemy Junior says calmly, "On your right," and swings downward and misses completely striking the floor.

Benedic fervently attempts to aid Tristan and Massielo with their apprehension of the (presumed) witch.

Massielo feels the invisible attacker getting away and Tristan grabbing him again. Massielo says "Ok, I've had it with you, it's time we do it Selann's way" He swings his morningstar at the invisible mass.

"Yeah! Show me some blood and I'll add my daggers to him!"
Selann tries to sound angry and blood thirsty, but it is wearing thin. It's one thing to stab someone. Another to keep threatening. He isn't Tristan....
GM Losonti
Against all odds, Massielo's morningstar connects, and he's rewarded with a whoof of expelled air from his target.
Greta Gyllenhår
Greta sighs, steps into the best possible position she can find, and brings her longhammer speeding down towards the invisible foe.

Tristan de Lion
The amused smurf laughs loudly!
We that continue to bring the Light to fight this foul darkness will appreciate these moments during the darkest times.
He then gives the headless invisible asshat an arm twist; just in case...
GM Losonti
Greta, I moved you to a square that would place him in your reach. He's in the empty space next to Tristan and Massielo.
Escape Grapple: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Greta's longhammer connects as well, this time with a sickening crunch. For obvious reasons, it's difficult to see what effect this has on the target, but it seems to foil their latest attempt to escape from Tristan's clutches.

Imagine if you had to roll a miss chance for the confirmation, too! *shudder*
Junior's glaive finds its mark, and he is rewarded with a spray of blood against the nearby wall. With a roar of anger, their hidden foe finally reveals himself when he makes his counterattack. Wielding an enormous ranseur, the bloody and bruised half-orc thrusts his weapon past Tristan, aiming for Junior's throat. Tristan interposes an arm just enough to divert its prongs, but only into Junior's shoulders. 9 damage As he withdraws his weapon, their attacker's skin seems to harden and take on the appearance of stone.
His wild eyes seek out and find Anevia, and he all but screams at her, bloody spittle flying from his lips.
A look of recognition crosses over Anevia's face, right before she looses an arrow that embeds itself into the man's stomach.

@GM: don't forget I did some non-lethal as well.
Caliban Tre'Athkar
Seeing no way to close with the half-orc in the corner, Caliban will focus his magical energies and cast a spell upon the combative half-orc.
Daze! Will save DC 13 unless he's higher than 4 HD
GM Losonti
You did, but unfortunately a 16 doesn't hit. I apologize for not describing that for you.
Caliban's spell simply slides off the half-orc's mind, and he displays no sign of being affected in any way.

Benedic swings Radiance at their enemy, attempting to only knock him out rather than kill him.

Selann stays back, watching the rest of the party crowding around the enemy, hoping he falls quickly.

Tristan looks at the blood and gore that just got sprayed from Greta's hammer explode on to the corner walls.

The half-orc, bloody and battered, is able to withstand and turn away the party's assault, until Greta's longhammer crashes into him. He turns his attention to Greta and thrusts his ranseur forward, skewering her. He grins through bloodied teeth as he tears the weapon free of her body, eliciting a spray of gore from the wound.

Junior's avenging strike is what finally does the trick, burying itself into his target's shoulder and bringing him to his knees. His eyes, full of hate, focus in on Anevia, before becoming unfocused. He wavers for a second longer, then topples off the table and to the ground.
Combat over! Finally
Greta Gyllenhår
Greta gasps when the half-orc’s polearm plunges into her side and as it falls she coughs out a mouthful of blood. “I could use some healing, please,” she asks as steadily as she can manage.

Benedic purses his lips, and presses his palms against Greta's shoulder. Converting bless weapon to cure moderate wounds.
