I have a noble's outfit and title from a low-level scenario. I'll need to find the exact Chronicle to see if it does anything more, maybe raises my Diplomacy above 0.

How do DM rerolls work? Does it require they be made "before the results are known", or not?

I did not know that dm rerolls exist. :-)

Technically it is a folio re-roll. You can just add your starts to the end of it.

As far as the result. I am not 100%, Others and I play it as long as you decide to do it before the GM says it is a pass/fail.

Ah sorry, I thought the GM meant that they as a GM rerolled for an NPC. :-)

Correct, if you see a low roll and are worried, you can use it before the results are determined but the second result stands.

Note to self, 1 point in Diplomacy, 1 in Intimidate and the rest in Sense Motive next level.

For Lorian, easy, Neapolitan. I had started him as part of the Vigilante play test but the original build was changed so I had to figure out what to do with him. The group I played with did not have many social characters so I went with one more like Retief.

Hmm...maybe tiger tail? Can't eat it, but it strikes me as the sort of flavor one would very grudgingly try and later on say, 'Eh, that's not too bad.' The flavor also seems like an out-of-place clash that works.

@Lorian/Minata: So let me get this straight: Your Social Identity is your "vigilante" identity, and your Vigilante Identity is your "real" identity"???

Reversed. Ambassador/Noble by day and Avenger by night. Minata is Neutral when it comes to dealing with problems, so when it looks like combat, Lorian excuses himself and sends in Minata. Unless I am leading an army, like in the Worldwound, nobles must not be seen getting their hands dirty.

I had been part of the Vigilante playtest and had to rebuild him as they changed his original build. Since I had to keep at least one level of Vigilante, I worked towards becoming a Battle Herald. It is an odd build but I mainly play him in social adventures.
