I think we'd head for the stairs and go up a level. Seems the only choice.
Fully refreshed after a good night's sleep, you ascend the stairs on the left and find yourself in a long hallway. You proceed down it and spot an adjoining hall. Peering down it you see a place where four hallways intersect in the four cardinal directions.
A three-foot-high square marble pillar stands in the center
of the junction, a sickly green gem the size of a human fist
sitting on top of it. A black mist swirls within the gem.
A few doors open off this intersecting hallway.

Vyr points to the gem, looks at Annelise and Willard, and gives a shrug. This is of course the internationally understood sequence for "What the hell is that thing?"
It's clearly something very powerful, though anyone trained in Spellcraft could assess it after getting close enough to scrutinize it.

Crazy twist! Defendant changed plea after opening arguments. Key witness was a wanted fugitive who was caught on some other offense and agreed to testify to lower his own sentence, and this just happened like 2 days before trial began.
Sounds like you missed out on some high drama.

Finally testing negative. Will get Vyr leveled up and I think everyone should look at loot in the next few days, and then anything without a name next to it gets sold and we split the pot.

OK, I went through and tried to calculate loot. Did a little quick and dirty (didnt' add base value to MW armor and weapons, just base cost) but total from sheets = 13,095 gp/4 = 3274 gp each
Here are some things we should take, so I'm assuming we all take invis, casters take the scrolls, Red and I take the spider climbs?:

Oh, and you can take both spider climb, bri; my cloak gives me spider climb at will :-)
