Also, Fortiva, way to catch on to the subtle hint. You actually had 2 pieces of evidence to give him, so could have failed twice in the skill challenges.
If you didn't have enough evidence, and failed enough, you would have had to give up some of your treasure bundles as a bribe.
Actually, when I played this, my GM misread the section on the bribe, and it cost us a treasure bundle along with the evidence, but at this level, no real biggie.
My apologies that the game took so long... it is a pretty clunky scenario for play by post, and I wouldn't do it in this style again. Face to face, or with a VTT, it takes only about 4 hours, even with a lot of RP... but Play-by-post can bog down a lot with this style of play.
If you have suggestions on how to run scenarios like this more smoothly, I would love the feedback (either here, or by PM).
Thank you all for playing.
Primary Objective Smuggle out any refugees
Secondary Objective 3 of 5
✓ Smuggle out at least 6 refugees
✓ Successfully treat Vurna for her illness
✓ Successfully smuggle out Seddothrum
✓ Defeat Barralbus
✓ have at least 8 treasure bundles at the end.
Reporting notes:
✓ Check A if the PCs smuggle out Seddothrum
☐ Check B if any PCs were detained by the guards and not freed.
Of note: If you had not paid the bribes to Ellvard, you would have all been detained. If that had happpened, your clients would have been detailed, and you would have only freed those from Shard Cove, and even though you would have succeeded in 3 of the secondary objectives, it would have been a Pyrrhic victory.
Also, being freed would have cost you 4 fame

Interesting. Glad we maxxed out where we did, then!

I have to laugh... no one actually rolled their earn income...
If I could get you all to do that now, it would be great!
I have the chronicles mostly done, but missing this.

Earn Income, Undead Lore: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
With 8 days, I think that's 4 sp?

Quoting March 19th:
Earn Income (Scouting Lore): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

No worries, it was worth it. A bit hard to maintain the focus due to forgetting what had happened thought.

I have only GM live games so far and I have a tendency to have games take too long…
Champion is a nice class, but I did not feel it was the right class for Tanaka. I played him as a ranger the first time and it didn’t feel right either. I think I’m going to try him as a fighter instead, or maybe as a swashbuckler.
I’ve also been unhappy about the Ride feat, mainly because it seems useless in PFS. I might keep it anyway.
Same for Cooperative Nature, as it does not seem to work in PFS scenario. As an ancestry feat, I do not think it really useful. I might just grab another.
Earn Income:
Scribing Lore: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

My roll was back on March 19. Since it was a result of 5, I would happily re-roll, but I assume I'm stuck with the original roll. ;)

How are we getting the chronicles?
Should we be looking somewhere besides here?

My PFS number seems to be missing the last digit. It says "200" instead of "2004." The reporting looks correct, so it looks like just a typo on the chronicle itself.

Ok, I will correct that tomorrow
