OK. I've been super busy this week. I'll finalize my character and probably post tomorrow.
I'm going with Teegor knowing Nestis and Mark. The three had split from the other band awhile ago, so we've time before we could start referring to memories.
So, Teegor is the servant of Nestis and Mark.
cheers

Nice to get that pinned down!

Found time. Teegor is ready for review. Can't change his profile picture, but I think that's a current bug.
Had to swap Observant feat for Athletic, because D&D Beyond gives Bugbears +1 Dex instead of +1 Wisdom which I found on the Net.
Took a Bag of Holding and Cloak of Protection and some small common things, so he still carries 450 gp of coin and equipment in his magic bag.
Is there a way to make D&D Beyond produce a formatted sheet that can cut-and-paste into his profile?
cheers

I'm not sure about formatted. Nestis' Paizo sheet is basically my notes copied into the profile.
Male Probably human Computer Scientist 1/ Character Synthesizer 20/ Crazy 99
I haven’t found one. I’ll work on that over the weekend.
My inventory is all set and coin accounted for. Only questionable item perhaps is a vial of drow poison (200gp).
Kassen Battle Maps | RotRL Battle Maps
That's fine. I don't see that causing too many issues.
Profile pic
Its a yochlol of course, but my favorite drow pic. Definitely some hidden force keeping Nilelane moving.

Cool! I've got an idea for what that force is if you don't mind some GM meddling.

I have an unusual amount of free time, even for a weekend. I won't be posting this often during most weekdays!
But it is nice to help get some momentum going.

I too am enjoying the trash-talking. :D
Where is this taking place? Which plane, which city? I'd like to make references to the outside world if I can, but I am not sure.
Kassen Battle Maps | RotRL Battle Maps
To be honest, I hadn't thought of that. The world outside is a blank canvas, though I can tell you you're still on the material plane. Have fun with it. This is supposed to be a short, silly adventure, though not as short as some of your characters seem to be assuming. :D
Oh, I would say that it's safe to assume that you are not in Whaddamacallit anymore.

I've assumed that Nestis was previously infiltrating a very Mediterranean-climated empire. ;)

That's the first encounter done and on to the next. How is the pace working with everyone?
Good for me. Laughing almost every day with some of the posts here, you guys are too funny.

Cool. I'm having fun with this. I have some plans for most of you, but I'm having a little trouble thinking of something cool for Teegor. Any suggestions?
There's a pretty good writeup in Volo's you might get some inspiration from...vastly superior to their 5e MM entry anyways.
I always thought their Long Limbed ability was funny (and awesome for rogue anyways...essentially a short range melee sneak attack, so no need to burn bonus on disengage. Probably pretty killer for monks too for same reason.).
If bugbears are the boogeyman, maybe it would be funny to have a little girl not afraid of him in the slightest, despite every attempt on his part.
There's also the hierarchy of hobgoblin (master), bugbear (elite), goblin (plebe) that might offer some play.

You can't hear the chuckling when I get to the gameplay thread, but trust me, it's there!
The sheer meekness of Teegor is quite a contrast from their usual bone idle/murderous dynamic. Definitely fuel there someplace.

I'm having fun with the passive bugbear, a bit like Chewie. What's the range of cool that you're thinking? Equipment, features, NPCs, goals, etc?

Hi
I’m good with the current play. Teegor will always be slow witted. But I always enjoy personalized story.
Cheers

Oh I'm having a ball. There's a part of me that is just loving how chaotic this party is. It's been a blast to run this thanks to all of you.
@Corso: I haven't forgotten about you looking for some friends in high places. You'll have something coming up.
@Teegor: I have something for you that I think you'll like!
@Nilelane: Sorry, I probably should have been more clear about the cart moving already. I tend to run things without maps because it helps encourage creativity I think. Also, I was planning on this going into a chase anyway.
Quote: loving how chaotic this party is Same, makes me want to do a recruitment of Chaotic Party game sometime. Would pair well with some of the classic style dungeon romps, no doubt. Gaming like we are all 10 year olds again. :)

Speaking of Chaotic, that reminds me!
A friend ran a once-off in a custom 3.5 setting where the big conflict was between law and chaos. The big city of Chaos had at least seven major languages, the city of Order one.
We were playing neutral-ish characters in the Order city, with my changeling druid running scams on betting under various identities. ;)

Just a heads up. I did something stupid and gave my fingers a steam burn. I'm hoping that the pain will lessen in the next day or two, but posts from me are definitely going to be less than they have been.
Aw, jeez man sorry to hear it. Hope you can still get medical supplies in your area.

Honestly, I'd be fine if typing didn't make them sting like mad. I have to numb my fingers before I can write anything at the moment. I've got some stuff, but it's mainly been the ice that's helped the most.
Had similar experience before, sucks hard man sorry. I haven't tried this sort of tech since the early 1990s...maybe its gotten better?

Less typing for now, then. We can wait!

Well, it seems I'm doing a lot better today than I thought I would be. Still stings a little, but not nearly as much as before. Assuming things continue this way, I should be good.

I just stumbled across this reading, perhaps some may be interested:
Pigeon Tactics
Thanks! Very fun read. Gives me ideas for my animal summoning spell...

Hail Corso, King of the Pigeons, Lord of the Turkeys! :P
I probably should have set up a map for that last combat. There were too many moving pieces and I figured since Corso and his Turkey Guard managed to kill the alpha and the rest of you were wrecking what was left of the pack, I'd call it.
Another thing I have learned is that it can be hard coming up with something funny on a consistent basis. I do not envy comedy writers a bit. That said, I do hope you are still enjoying yourselves. Once you've dealt with the aftermath of this encounter, we'll be at about the halfway point of this little adventure.
For those curious about the Perils and Boons thing, I got it from here: Zee's Animated Spellbook. I'd check out his other vids too. He has a lot of good content.

Cheers for the info, Salsa.
Yeah, being consistently funny is no joke!
At least the pbp format allows a bit more time to work on ideas.
