Hey all! Just linking to the previous post I made musing about various characters I'm raring to play in Curse of the Crimson Throne.

I also had another list of characters I could play from about 6 months ago, though a few of those characters were listed due to the adventure's theme and they were all considered prior to the Adventurer's Packs.

One last thing; I could also play Fumbus or any of the We Be Heroes goblin characters. I don't tend to like roleplaying goblins much, but Fumbus in particular is an exception on account of his more fleshed out backstory.

Based on the last thread (and the Hangout chat), somebody is going to play Varian, and both Nathan and I are interested. Since it looks like Nathan wants to play mostly casters, and I don't think we need two casters, I'll leave Varian to him and I'll take one of my other options instead.

So I'm good with playing either Kess (as the muscle) or Maznar (as the healer again). Both of them can help the party (Kess can boost checks against monsters, once he gets his Bruiser role, and Maznar can help with all checks all the time). So I'd be perfectly happy playing either of those.

Question for Yewstance - I haven't looked much at which packs/decks I'd use with Kess if I were playing him, but I noticed on your last post you mentioned playing him with Finesse and Wilderness. The Wilderness in particular caught me a bit by surprise, was there a particular reason you chose that Ultimate deck? It's not the one I would've expected for him (without doing research yet, my instinct is that I would've probably gone Intrigue for all the items and allies).

Deck Handler // Searching for: Spell 3 > Item 3 > Blessing 3

Working on getting my avatar and decks in order, but definitely going with Varian (Core) Hell's Vengeance 2 and a couple of Adventure packs.

Unless there's a detail I don't know; just clarifying that Kess is a woman.

Rambling about Kess and UW:
Kess is one of the characters with the largest numbers of items and allies in her deck, and Ultimate Wilderness gets more powerful with characters with more of both. In particular, leveraging the Plants synergy.

A lot of plants and supporting cards from Ultimate Wilderness work together very effectively, such as Vine Leshy (recharge to draw a plant from your discards - basically akin to "heal and draw a card"), Snapping Flytrap (bury to draw 3 plants from discards and deck, basically "heal up to 3 cards, draw 3 cards") and Green Faith Druid (discard to draw an animal/plant from discards and explore, basically "discard to heal, draw a card, and explore"). The sheer exploration power and diversity of support offered by item and ally slots in Ultimate Wilderness often surpasses those of other Ultimate Decks.

Kess cannot succeed at the checks to recharge them (unless you use a certain AD6 Finesse item), but she can still bury them for their powers... and until it's necessary to do so, they cost her almost nothing to hold onto as they don't take up hand space. The animal/plant allies are ideal fuel for her ally-based powers, and the plant items are ideal fuel to discard to damage, since plants are trivially healed by aforementioned powers and Kess is exceptionally good at discarding cards to damage. Having an overfull hand size with +3 or +4 plants makes the rest of her hand virtually untouchable. Plus, her extreme tankiness means she performs well with small deck sizes, so even if you do bury your plant items aggressively she'll still be able to continue playing effectively - in fact, all that you'll be doing is shrinking her deck and maximizing her ally to non-ally ratio.

On top of all of that, Ultimate Wilderness is also your only way of getting access to Amulet of Furious Fists, a lovely +7 average to your combat checks on reveal (assuming you're not asking people to hand you weapons better than your unarmed combat checks). In the early game, it also offers excellent reveal-based allies like Dwarf Caiman and Fire Gecko, and allies with 'reveal' powers are excellent for Kess because she can use their reveal powers, then on that same turn (or even that same check!) recharge them to her own power.

Ultimate Intrigue has some awesome boons, but very few are particularly relevant for Kess, particularly in the Items department. A lot leverage skills she doesn't have, some of its best boons are weapons she can't use, and even its allies are not actually much better than those in Ultimate Wilderness. This is especially true when you consider that Kess usually doesn't care that much about the actual (non-exploration and non-reveal) powers on the allies she uses (since she often just spends them to explore or recharges them to her own power, rather than their listed powers), so the benefits of the "Animal" trait are magnified by making her allies much easier to search out and heal with so many Ultimate Wilderness cards.

In general, I consider Ultimate Wilderness' Plant synergies to be one of the strongest build-arounds in any Ultimate Deck, so much so that even characters without the right skillset can absolutely shine in it as long as they have enough of the right card types, which she does.

As far as Ultimate Add-On decks go, I'd consider Ultimate Equipment the next best thing, mostly due to the excellent end-game allies and a couple of specific items (like Sacred Candle and Robe of Items).

Alright, running under the assumption that skizzerz plays Zova and maelwys plays Zadim, I have a new suite of characters that I'm considering playing that will round the party out in some fashion or another, and that I'm also interested in playing.

The majority of my previously-considered characters were primary combatants and/or Arcane specialists, and I feel both roles are pretty solidly covered. So my new choices are...

HAKON (Curse) (Ultimate Equipment and Warpriest, or a trio of Adventure Packs)
Same as before! Hakon provides a Charisma-focused character, a solid healer (since he can re-draw Cure from his discards every turn in many cases) and melee character that's happy to use the big two-handed weapons, unlike Zadim. He's also pretty good with the Harrow blessings of this AP, since he can redraw them from his discards at times.

I can build him a few different ways, including actually making him Harrow-themed, taking advantage of the Blackjack role, or simply turning him into a more straightforward support character.

ARUESHALAE (WotR) (Some combination of HV2, Ultimate Intrigue, Support and/or Ranged APs, depending on role selection)
Arueshalae brings a charisma-focused character to the team, can provide support to any character as needed, and one of her roles allows for outright healing as needed.

Both of her roles appeal to me, but would incentivise quite different choice of decks. Her Redeemed role massively emphasises her supportive capabilities, letting her slip into a 'healing/support' role. Her Fallen role lets me grab allies that anyone else fails to acquire, and lets me fully utilize the Hell's Vengeance 2 deck to it's full capacity - which can be leveraged into turning her into an exceptionally blessing-focused character, due to the high power level of the deck's blessings (once you can control the Corrupted trait).

Heal & Cohort focus, or Ally & Blessing focus, basically.

ZELHARA (Hell's Vengeance 2) (HV2, plus either Ultimate Intrigue or the Divine and Finesse APs)
Yet another HV2 character, but brings a dedicated Divine caster to the team. She's rather decent at utilizing the Harrow blessings, too, since she self-heals so easily and thus can often redraw them multiple times per game.

Note that whilst I've used Hell's Vengeance 2 before (with MM Ezren); I've never used it with a character able to leverage it's corrupted cards or its blessings, something both Arueshalae and Zelhara will explore.

KASAMIR (Witch)
Not fully certain how I'd build him, yet. I can focus entirely on leveraging the Divine skill granted by Flesh Poppet, which would further enhance an anti-barrier power on one of his role cards. Alternatively, I could play him 'straight' as an Arcane caster that runs a healing spell or two. Alternatively, I could leverage his Healing proficiency and the Craft skill granted by Daji, and make a bit of non-traditional use of the Alchemy Adventurer's pack.

Besides the healing focus, though, Kasamir will function very similarly to Varian, however.

ALASE (Summoner)
A charisma-based, almost purely supportive character. Plus, one who is once again excellent at leveraging the benefits of our Harrow blessings! I'd almost certainly use one of my player boons to give her a card from HV1 and HV2 if I were to use her - Hungering Staff from HV2, and The Asmodean Disciplines from HV1 (to give to Varian to let him redeem cards).

Alase can help shuffle locations if Zadim examines something we don't like, and she is uniquely suited to acting as a 'pack mule' character; holding onto cards of all sorts and giving them out at just the right time to the right players. I can hand off Quarterstaff of Vaulting when you need an Acrobatics check, Hungering Staff when you're stuck against an attack-immune enemy, or simply something to let you evade a bane you can't deal with.

MELISKI (Bard) (Bard CD, plus Occult and Support APs)
Gives us another Divine caster with purely supportive abilities, and is a certain continuation of me filling the role of Bard. In this case, I'd be building entirely around his synergy with Gambling cards, since Curse provides a couple more items with the Gambling trait.

It's worth noting that Meliski's role power in question has him recharge/shuffle any gambling boons he banishes, buries or discards... whether it's for their actual power, or otherwise. As a result, with Adventurer's Packs and the like it's actually quite possible to basically make him un-killable (simply because he'll have so many cards that auto-recharge as soon as they're removed from his deck/hand in any way). However, he's... not a powerful character in most other senses, besides his reroll support, and he can't really leverage it to do anything too impressive, by and large.

===================================================

As before, I'm looking for opinions and input from the table; who they want to see, or otherwise feel I should play.

Deck Handler // Searching for: Spell 3 > Item 3 > Blessing 3

I like all the options. They all look very interesting and the only ones I’ve seen are Zelhera which I’m playing part time in Faction’s Favor and Aru, but only in the context of WotR so I’m interested to see what you can do with her in PACS play. All other things being equal, you might want to look at the balance of the card upgrade chase. So far as a group, we have 7 weapons, 7 spells, 3 armor, 9 items, 11 allies, and 9 blessings.

Play PACG Play-by-Post? Feel free to use my custom Deck Handler. An index of my other Deck Handlers can be found here.

I also keep forgetting that getting AD4/5/6 blessings in Sanctioned Curse is a PAIN and by far my biggest complaint about the sanctioning of this particular AP.

That does lessen how much I like Zelhara and Arueshalae somewhat, honestly, because I know that I won't get many scenarios (if any at all, based on what I've seen of a table I BR attempting and failing to get any worthwhile blessing upgrades at all) with some of the late-game Corrupted blessings.

The deck upgrade distribution, as it stands, is pretty even. A low number of armors (which is common), a relatively low number of weapons and spells to what is standard, and a low number of blessings (3 per character so far).

Hakon or Flenta (linked/discussed in a previous post) probably do a bit more rounding in that regard than others, but also provide extra overlap in other ways.

Deck Handler // Searching For: Spell 2 > Ally 2*2 > Weapon 2*2

It seems I've settled on Hakon. I've got a deck built for him (noting that you can now start with any level 0 card, without any requirement for it to be basic).

The Good Omen spell in my deck was from Ultimate Equipment (Spell 0), which was then replaced with the Good Omen Core (Spell 1). Same as how we handled Invisibility in the Dragon's Demand AP.

===================================

ID: #295729-1017

Decks: Divine Adventurer's Pack + Ultimate Equipment

Applying Player Boon: Hakon adds the Shining Wayfinder to his Class Deck Box from the Season of Factions' Favor Adventure Path reward. (One-Use)

Noting Player Boon: Hakon will be actively using the Sanctioned Dragon's Demand Adventure Path reward. What he uses it for may change from scenario to scenario, but usually to trade Explorer's Pith Helmet (Armor 0) for an Incitation (Blessing 0) from the vault.

===================================

Some strategy observations...

  • There's AD1 cards of every card type I could happily upgrade to. I suppose that's appropriate for Hakon, given he initially has the most even distribution of card types in his deck of any character. As a result, I'm usually going to be happy taking whatever deck upgrades are left over.

  • Around AD2-AD3, my combat checks (when I'm not using my power) will begin to suffer. A large part of that is that neither Ultimate Equipment nor the Divine AP do much to support the use of the Melee skill, at least not compared to the Warpriest CD I'd use by default, or even Ultimate Intrigue. If we get combat difficulty-increasing Wildcards, I may be asking Zadim for support rather frequently (especially since he buffs combat checks more than I can, at a far lower cost than I can).

  • Note that I've got both Cure (which I can re-use with a character power) and Staff of Minor Healing; don't let my technical lack of the Divine skill make you think I can't serve as a primary healer as needed!

  • When you need a blessing, I will generally request that my Harrow blessing is used early/first if possible if I have another blessing in hand. If my harrow is discarded I can redraw it at the start of my turn by switching it with another blessing, which is a pretty potent play given the added benefits of playing your Harrow.
  • Speaking of, I personally love the Harrow-benefit of Adventure 1 in Curse, especially how it lets you easily and freely pass cards off between players... even during the middle of a check. It's a great way to move acquired cards to where they'll be most helpful, but it can also help move armor or certain other self/local affecting boons to where they're actually helpful. In my case, I'm always happy to be handed spare blessings or spells, so that I can leverage them to re-use my Cure spell or Harrow blessing.

  • This is also an extremely rare time that I'm willingly playing a character with a Hand Size of 4. In fact, Hakon has one of the lowest handsizes ever, with his Roles only having a max of 6/5 respectively. That said, the Blackjack role helps off-set that, and I've got some late-game tricks up my sleeve to leverage to off-set that too.
  • I'm also aware it's a clever balancing method, since Hakon makes better use of Hand Size increases than almost anyone else, since more cards in hand (and more cards discarded every turn) means much more control over how frequently and what cards you re-use with his first power.

Is that rule change actually in effect yet? The last post I've seen is this one from last November, which explicitly says this rule change is not yet official:

    Vic Wertz wrote:

There's one more big change in the works for 6.2, and then I think it'll be ready to issue... but it's kind of a big deal, so I want to run it past you all first. Unlike the other changes announced in this thread, this one is not effective immediately.

We are simplifying the Hierarchy to card level alone, with no consideration of the Basic trait. ....

There is another post Vic made in February that says it's OK to go ahead and use the new 'Owner' rule, but nothing I have found that says the simplification of the Hierarchy has also been released into the wild.

Honored to have a lurker, though I'm not likely to be able to address the questions.
Updated my deck with Tier 0 cards.

Any thoughts on character turn order? When the BR and other players are willing, I tend to like adjusting the order based on each scenario, but I'm also fine with keeping a consistent order (it is easier to manage). Though I'm not sure what a good default turn order should be.

Taking another look at that suggest that the body of the post does, in fact, make the new replacement for the hierarchy available for use; the copy-and-pasted line introducing it as being an 'Owner' rule change was confusing me.

No worries; I had almost exactly this train of thought in this party's Hangouts chat earlier. I thought that Vic hadn't made it official, then it was pointed out he had made it official in the thread I spoke about, just in a post I'd overlooked because I thought he was still talking just about Owner cards.

As for the turn order; I have a preference for never being the first player in a scenario, since I have a start-of-turn power that only has any utility if I have at least one desirable card in my discards (like my Harrow Blessing after using it to support someone).

Scenario Reward: No real interest in Zellara's Harrow Deck. I don't have the Perception skill and I tend to prefer discarding my cards over burying them; plus my existing 2 items are excellent.

Tier Progression: (1.1) Hakon gains a Hero Point.

Hakon still has 0 remaining Hero Points.

Deck Upgrades: Hakon's preferences are as follows...

  • Weapon 1: Replace Wooden Stake with Glorious Warhammer (Divine AP). Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 808
  • Item 1: Replace Staff of Minor Healing with Sacred Candle (Core) (Divine AP). Item 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 259
  • Ally 1: Replace Merchant (Core) with Priest of Pharasma (Divine AP). Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 262

I plan to mark off a use of my Treasure Hunter boon to receive an additional Deck Upgrade, given the long list of AD1 cards I'm going to want at some point (and the amount of Treasure Hunter boons I still have).

Assuming Zadim's okay with that, that means...
I mark off the third use of my Treasure Hunter Boon (earned from PACG Retrocon as a Box Runner reward), expending it entirely, and Hakon will take both a Weapon 1 and an Item 1 as Deck Upgrades.
I still have 3 Treasure Hunter boons remaining, for a potential 9 more uses.

I'll also list all of the Tier 1 Deck Upgrades I'm looking for in total below for reference's sake. Ignore any dice rolls made in the spoiler below.

    Spoiler:
Weapon 1: Replace Wooden Stake with Glorious Warhammer (Divine AP). Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 225

Item 1: Replace Staff of Minor Healing with Sacred Candle (Core) (Divine AP). Item 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 91

Item 1: Replace my newly-added Compass with Sacred Candle (Ultimate Equipment). Item 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 925

Weapon 1: Replace Warhammer (Core) with Double Chicken Saber +1 (Ultimate Equipment). Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 107

Ally 1: Replace Quartermaster with Bodyguard (Divine AP). Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 968

Ally 1: Replace Fencer with Majordomo (Ultimate Equipment). Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 963

Weapon 1: Replace Kusarigama with Scorpion Whip (Ultimate Equipment). Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 40

  • Okay, I think I've just about managed to talk myself out of all my upgrades... ;-)

I'll end up taking the Item 1 upgrade, to upgrade Noxious Bomb to Gem of Physical Prowess. But then I'm going to immediately swap out the Gem for Zellara's Harrow Deck. That way I'll still have that in case somebody else wants the deck later (or I take another Item feat), but right now I'd rather keep my other two poison items on me.

No problem at all! Like I said, I have too many items I want to use and need to juggle things a bit anyway, so I'm happy to let somebody else take the Harrow deck. I'd only taken it because I didn't see anybody else laying claim at the time, and figured that SOMEBODY should. ;-)

Deck Upgrades: Hakon's preferences are as follows...

  • Item 1: Replace my newly-added Compass with Sacred Candle (2) (Ultimate Equipment). Item 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 352
  • Ally 1: Replace Merchant (Core) with Priest of Pharasma (Divine AP). Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 112
  • Weapon 1: Replace Warhammer (Core) with Double Chicken Saber +1 (Ultimate Equipment). Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 492
  • Blessing 1: Replace Blessing of the Quartermaster with Blessing of Kofusachi (Ultimate Equipment). Blessing 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 801

  • Hero Point - Dexterity +1
Deck Upgrade - Weapon 1 (Replace Sai with Scorpion Whip)

    Deck Handler // Tier 3.0 // 2 Hero Points // Looking for: Armor 3, Ally 3 (x2), Weapon 3, Spell 2

Plan is still to do a harrow reading for every scenario :)

    Curse-1A Upgrades
Hero Point: Card Feat - 6 Allies
Upgrade: Ally 1 (fill new Ally slot with Raven)

    Deck Handler // Tier 3.0 // 2 Hero Points // Looking for: Armor 3, Ally 3 (x2), Weapon 3, Spell 2

I'm going to be applying both Tyrant of the Harrow rewards to Zova:

    • Each player may choose one of their Adventure Card Society characters. At the start of each scenario, after drawing starting hands, that character may discard a new Harrow blessing.
    • Each player may choose one of their Adventure Card Society characters and add the promo card The Real Rabbit Prince to that character's deck box.

    Deck Handler // Searching for: Spell 3 > Item 3 > Blessing 3

Applying my A Night at Bloodthorne Manor reward to Varian:

Choose one of your characters. That character gains the power "When you encounter a monster, you may recharge 2 random cards to evade it, then move to a random other location."

Forgot to post here, but as per chat I'm also going to apply one of my rewards from Tyrant to this character: "At the start of each scenario, after drawing starting hands, that character may discard a new Harrow blessing."

    Scenario 1B Things to Do:

1.) Tell me what you want to do with your Hero Point.

    2.) Decide on your upgrades

    Priest of Asmodeus (Ally 1)
    Hide Armor (Armor 0)
    Full Plate (Armor 1)
    The Foreign Trader (Blessing 1)
    Bracers of Protection (Item 0)
    Codex (Item 0)
    Cold Iron Greatsword (Weapon 1)

    3.) Reconfirm loot.

    Top preference is Blessing 1.
    Otherwise, Ally 1
    If not, Weapon 1.

No need for the loot. And my HP will depend on which upgrade I get, because I'm most likely taking the card feat to match.

    Loot
I'll continue to take Zellara's Harrow Deck

    Deck Handler // Tier 3.0 // 2 Hero Points // Looking for: Armor 3, Ally 3 (x2), Weapon 3, Spell 2

Hero Point: Skill Feat: Wisdom +1

    Blessing 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 811 Blessing of Gozreh -> The Tangled Briar (Blessing 1)
    Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 558 Hatchet -> Stone Axe +1
    Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 489 Shock Lizard -> Fire Gecko

    Loot: None

    Curse-1B - Hakon Rewards

    Scenario Reward: Nothing to note.

Tier Progression: (1.3) Hakon gains a Hero Point.
Hakon expends the Hero Point on a Skill Feat, and checks off...
    Charisma d8 ☑ +1 ☐ +2 ☐ +3 ☐ +4

Hakon still has 0 remaining Hero Points.

Deck Upgrades: Hakon's preferences are as follows...

  • Ally 1: Replace Merchant (Core) with Bodyguard (Divine AP). Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 872
  • Blessing 1: Replace Blessing of the Quartermaster with Blessing of Kofusachi (Ultimate Equipment). Blessing 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 365
  • Weapon 1: Replace Warhammer (Core) with Double Chicken Saber +1 (Ultimate Equipment). Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 830
  • Armor 1: Replace Bronzed Leather with Vestments of Authority (Ultimate Equipment). Armor 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 941

At least, that's all more or less reflective of my preferences at this time... but since there 4 level 1 deck upgrades and the Ally/Blessing/Weapons are all in higher demand, I'll happily volunteer to take the Armor 1.

  • Filling in my rolls
    Blessing 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 889
    Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 135
    Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 885

So it looks like Zadim edges out Zova for the Blessing 1
    Zova gets the Weapon 1
By rolls, Hakon should get the Ally 1, and Varian the Armor 1.
But Hakon offered to trade, so you two can work that out (since at least you both had some option for each of them)

    Zadim final upgrades:
    Card Feat: Blessing
Deck Upgrade: Blessing 1 (The Joke)

    Deck Handler // Searching for: Spell 3 > Item 3 > Blessing 3

I'm happy to go off of the roll.

    Upgrade
Armor 1 Shield Cloak goes into a previously empty space.

    Deck Handler // Searching For: Spell 2 > Ally 2*2 > Weapon 2*2

Looks like Hakon gets the Ally 1, then? Alrighty.

I was feeling a bit mixed since Zova's ally option was a distinct improvement... but so is her Weapon upgrade.

    Compass (Item 0)
    Holy Water (Item 0)

    Dogslicer (Weapon 0)

    3.) Reconfirm loot.

    Keeping Hero Point

It probably makes sense for me to keep Zellara's Harrow Deck

Zadim will store his hero point.

Take a Blessing 1 deck upgrade (since Varian already showed his preference for a Spell, there should be enough Blessings that I'm guaranteed to get one). Blessing of the Quartermaster -> The Locksmith.

    No loot.

    Deck Handler // Tier 3.0 // 2 Hero Points // Looking for: Armor 3, Ally 3 (x2), Weapon 3, Spell 2

Tier 1, 4 XP (won't tier up just yet). Bank hero point (now 1). Upgrade Blessing of Gozreh to Sarenrae's Light (Blessing 1). Another healing option probably won't go amiss since we seem to like getting Ablaze.

    Deck Handler // Searching For: Spell 2 > Ally 2*2 > Weapon 2*2

    Curse-1C - Hakon Rewards

Scenario Reward: Nothing to note, aside from Thousand Bones rallied.

Tier Progression: (1.4) Hakon gains a Hero Point.
    Hakon stores it.

Hakon now has 1 remaining Hero Point.

Deck Upgrades: Hakon's preferences are as follows...

  • Blessing 1: Replace Blessing of the Quartermaster with Blessing of Kofusachi (Ultimate Equipment). Blessing 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 953

I'm also looking for a Spell 1, but am more than happy finishing out my AD1 blessing wishlist and letting the wizard take the spell!

  • Deck Handler // Searching for: Spell 3 > Item 3 > Blessing 3

    Banking the Hero point.

    Curse-1D - Hakon Rewards

Scenario Reward: Hakon rallies Trinia Sabor. (Slightly spoiling the aftermath of this scenario, I suppose.)

Adventure Reward: Hakon checks off his Supporter Feat for Cressida Kroft.

Tier Progression: (1.5) Hakon gains a Hero Point.
    Hakon stores it.
Hakon expends his XP to tier up to Tier 2.

Hakon now has 2 remaining Hero Points.

Deck Upgrades: Hakon's preferences are as follows...

  • Weapon 1: Replace Warhammer (Core) with Double Chicken Saber +1 (Ultimate Equipment). Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 73
  • Ally 1: Replace Fencer with Majordomo (Ultimate Equipment). Ally 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 969
  • Armor 1: Replace Bronzed Leather with Vestments of Authority (Ultimate Equipment). Armor 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 566

  • Rally Trinia
    Supporter Upgrade: Amin Jalento
    Hero Point: Stored

    Deck Upgrades:
Armor 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 126 - Replace Bronzed Leather with Armor of Insults
Weapon 1: 1d1000 ⇒ 27 - Replace Dawnflower's Petal with Snakebite Dagger (sucks to replace my signature weapon so quickly... it's just not as good as I wish it was, clearly a victim of the fact that it was designed so far before the character)

    Deck Handler // Searching for: Spell 3 > Item 3 > Blessing 3

    Rewards
    Rallies Trinia Sabor
Checks off the Supporter Feat for Trinia Sabor As much as I like Cressida Kroft for Varian, I liked the idea of not doubling up on Supporter feats and having more opportunity to shake scourges is probably a good thing

    Hero Point
    Banked!

    Upgrade
Replacing Ally 0 Card Caster with Ally 1 Bound Imp
Some of Varian's arcane summoning experiments are working with only a touch of nausea.
