Kavendell, do you have versatile performance for two perform skills? Don't you unlock that only at level 6?
Goblin Pens
These cells are dirty and stuffed with straw, tattered clothing, and garbage, and the entire area stinks like a wet dog and garbage.
It seems like the former jail cells are the home of the goblins and they were kept here until they were needed. They’re well fed and have made this area their own.
The goblins are slightly confused.
SM: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 171d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 61d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 191d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 121d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
But then they start to shout at you!
"We will kill you! We will eat you! We don't know you! Longshanks dead! Longshanks dead!" they start shouting.
I assume you also look at the other rooms.

Trash Room
This room contains piles and piles of paper trash and
wood scraps—it’s also full of rats and vermin and smells
strongly of both.
* *
Meeting Room
This large room was recently cleaned—piles of trash are
swept into the corners, the six tables and dozen benches
here are spotless, and the majority of the spider webs and
vermin nests were cleaned from the corners. A set of sturdy
double doors sit in the south wall, another is set in the west
wall, and a single door in the northwest corner leads north
into a small kitchen.

Kitchen & Pantry
The Shadow Lodge agents store, cook, and serve their food
here. Both rooms are impeccably clean and orderly and
you can find fresh water and food here.
Wilhelmina Murray |
Wilhelmina will pet the nice scorpion.
That was one of our better infiltrations! Thanks everyone :)
Reggie Bottleberry |
"We'll have to figure out some way to get those poor guys out of there safely somehow. It don't seem right to leave them stuck in those cells to starve," Reggie says.
He doesn't poke too deeply into any of the trash rooms but looks around a bit. He watches the scorpion warily and soothes a growling Rowdy to keep it from attacking.
We didn't even have to kill everyone and everything!
Tiny fox |
The fox seems to be in good spirits. The shady ones brought down, the great scorpion pacified....and stinky goblins still behind bars.
Though it blinks at Reggie's remark of freeing the savage greenies.

Peace in Kaer Maga
You have now searched the bodies and the hideout and found that Mr. Sussworth is working with a broader organization of false Shadow Pathfinders. The details you found in the letters hints as to locations and names.
With their headquarters now empty, and with a great deal on intel on these upstarts that would dare sully the Pathfiners name, you present your evidence to the Ardoc family, as well as the mysterious mercantile league of the city, clearing the Pathfinder’s name, and erasing your “debt”.

Back in the Grand Lodge
Deciding to stay a few more dimly lit days, you partake of all the city has to offer, but soon receive word that you are needed back at the Grand Lodge, and your transport is ready.
Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng along with one of the Society’s mages appear before you the next morning, having traveled the pathways of magic, come to take you home via teleportation as Reggie requested.
Upon your return, you are greeted as heroes by some of the VCs that learned about your mission. During a secret gathering some senior Pathfinders raise wine glass and mug, forming a gauntlet for you to walk through in the same way that knighthoods raise swords. A sign of respect.
VC Dreng leads you to his office for a debriefing, and you show him all of the evidence you have uncovered, as well as give details of your exploits.
All of which he promises would have made it into the next Chronicles ... were this Shadow Lodge not so secret that these two missions of yours would need to be kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL!
You gather one last time before you have to leave for your next mission.
:-D Great job! You can RP the end if you like.
Wilhelmina Murray |
"Kaer Maga is an exciting place, but I'm ready to curl up with a good book and take a break."
Wilhelmina pets Jonathan.
Reggie Bottleberry |
Reggie has an ear to ear grin on his face and a wolf at his side through all the celebrations and goings on. He doesn't even seem to mind that he's not going to get any fame out of the missions.
"All in a day's work," he says deferentially when he's praised.
"I think I might go back. Sure, it's a shady place but at least there're no real tyrants there. With a little guidance, it could be a good, free, place," he replies to Wilhelmina.
Kavendell Octavianus |
The son of Taldor strokes his beard as he contemplates what he has discovered and how the Society has reacted to it. He then ponders whether the good Baron has received the goblin that he seemed so much to desire.
Thanks for running!
