Luli sighs heavily. ”Alright, we don’t have the resources to help him right now - but let’s remember to grab him on our way out,” he whispers back. Signaling his readiness to depart, he digs his fingers into Karma’s fur and tries not to look at the injured man.

He could die at any moment. If you want to rescue him then you should probably heal him. Whether with first aid (another DC15 heal check) or magic.

Exploring, you find that the other cells contain:
- a variety of costumes suited for all aspects of life: priestly robes for a dozen different churches, tradesmen's gear for many different roles, qualities of dress ranging from pauper to princeling... all for wear in Merab. Some of the clothes might be of value but the fanciest stuff is fake.

appraise DC20:
In all you could probably get around 100gp selling this lot to a theatre or costumier.

- An armory containing five maces, five cold iron morningstars, three spears, and six sickles. There is also one very nice looking cold iron morningstar.

detect magic and DC18 spellcraft:
It is a +1 cold iron morningstar.

- the last room contains a simple bed, a chest with mundane clothes, and a thick book of vile prayers to Ahriman written in a variety of fiendish languages.
