MIteke, what is the stairwell like, can more than one Hyena attack at a time?
You took out blue on the way by so red took it's place. You took out black with your crit (I switched your attack since you would have had to deal with cover if you attacked green).
You can step into the spot now occupied by the corpse of black. I moved your icon for you. No more wall issues but now you are being flanked, though I'm hoping Lupe clears that problem up for you :)
Lupe, you can move up and get a clear shot on Red but not Green (who would have +4 AC from the wall)

@Gnasher. We just needed to wait until people were in position before doing the thing that can start a fight. But walking straight up seem like what Gnasher would have done. Live and learn.

@Casper
That is the blue gnoll, not hyenna. And I don't think you can get there. You guys were at ground level, the gnolls and hyenas are on the second floor with walls. The only way up is via the two stairways, one of which is choked with PCs and hyenas.
@Urah
It would take 20' of movement to get up the stairs. I have no way of telling where you started the round, so I'm not sure if you would have made it.
Does anyone know of a way to record player locations short of copying the whole map somewhere?
Urah Pyr
Added a yellow Line to indicate Urah' movement. No stealth as I double move or ran to the stair case.
Without indicating Round Number, it might be hard to keep track.

The team kicks it into high gear, racing towards the egresses to the second floor as the gnolls look on with astonishment as two of their deadly pets fall in rapid succession.
One of the gnolls picks up his spear and starts running towards the other side of the gatehouses where there is a tube that looks like the end of a horn; the other also takes up his spear, but instead (partial) charges Gnasher.

This is a confusing combat but it will get better. Since the map did not have separate images for the first and second floor I think it threw a lot of you off. And my getting to know and understand the characters contributed.
Gnasher slides his fauchard right past the yapping hyena though the throat of the surprised gnoll, his spear still suspended from his own lunge, momentarily, until it clatters to the floor from a lifeless hand.
Luke lunges up past Gnasher with his own weapon of death and sends the hyena slamming back against the wall where it remains, unmoving. Taking advantage he dashes past the engaged Gnasher and hyena.
Urah dashes up the stairs and around the corner to see Lupe confronting a gnoll and a hyenna up against Gnasher. He also sees a couple of comatose hyenas and one downed gnoll.

Wolf and gets in a viscous bite and Lupe really tears him a new one while the gnoll is down and it lies there unstirring and very, very messed up. You poke around and find some cheap weapons and armor but nothing of much interest. About the only one that would be interested in this stuff would be Bahram.
'Gnasher' Red Claw
Watching Lupe kill the last Gnoll, Gnasher lulls his tongue in a gnoll smile. "Well done little leader." Drawing out his crowbar he points to the armor and weapon. "When return to camp, if take weapons Bahram will pay."
He waives the crowbar. "Now take trophies." Using the crowbars, he knocks out the canine's on the three hyena's and gnoll that he killed. Collecting the eight bloody trophies into his pouch, he holds the crowbar out to Lupe. "Lupe want collect trophies?"
Tarak Stromblessed
"Well done." Tarak congratulates the trio of warriors as he finally approaches the scene of the fight, "Unfortunately our surprise attack was a bit off, in timing. We'll need to work on that, aye?"
He casts detect magic and looks over the gnolls.
'Gnasher' Red Claw
Looking up from the Gnoll he is detoothing, Gnasher nods in agreement with Tarak, "Gnasher expected gnolls talk longer." He shrugs as he returns to his bloody work. "No matter; gnolls, hyena's dead! We live!"
Lupe Fiasco
"I'm not really a trophy person. In the woods, it is one more thing to carry. So far we have made many plans and none of them have worked but eventually, we will be practiced and good at them."
Urah Pyr
"So.....what's next?" Urah questions as he watches the gnoll get his trophies.
'Gnasher' Red Claw
After collecting the 'canines' from the dead or dying? Gnoll, Gnasher looks up at Urah. "Next? Search for food? Kill more Gnolls?" Remembering he isn't pack leader he looks to Lupe to see what the chief says.
Casper "Pythonglare" Cantour
Casper's eyes narrow slightly, as he gazes intently on the corpses of the recent combatants
Accept this, Oh Great Lord of the Black Fingers, the souls of these our wanton sacrifices unto thee.
Lupe Fiasco
"There is a big bird at the mill. It is smart but I don't know that we need to deal with it now. The buildings with domed roofs have the most activity. There is also a cluster of buildings that may have people in them. It would be a good place to start to thin the herd."
You can see the area here. In the box. I can't see or read anything on the map have.
'Gnasher' Red Claw
Looks like a grey box with B1 - B5 in it. Was the gate house one of these? Can we get to B1 easily?
Having put his pouch away and recovered from being fatigued, Gnasher nods in agreement "Let us start with building farthest from town, work our way in."
He then moves back down the stairs, checking the first floor more carefully as he goes. Watching while he waits, turning to Lupe, "Lead on chief."

B9 was the gatehouse.

I helped by making the box green and thicker.
B6 was the lair of the Peryton, which Lupe scouted out before having to hurry off. It seemed reluctant to leave it's lair until Lupe put some distance between him and it.
If you go to the area, please trace the route you are taking with a line or curve or something.
I replace my map with the one from the folio that is labelled.
'Gnasher' Red Claw
As they scan the area, before heading out towards the North east, Gnasher points at the rectangular building across the water, B7 with a clawed paw. "what there? If empty maybe move by water, avoid streets?"
I take full responsibility for the botched plan on the garrison. Having said that someone else can move us out of here :)
Urah Pyr
"I see there are buildings there. Perhaps we should explore that area first and then move in as we go." the ifrit points out as he spots that the buildings are also possible cover.
B5 and then towards B4, B3, B2? At least clear one section before we head to the others.

"If we hop in here by the gatehouse and mostly submerge ourselves (water provides cover and will allow us to stealth) we can make out way to the there (B5). Casper can scout it out then we can go from there. If the stealth fails be ready to rush the place."
No one was at fault for the plan. We won decisively that is what matters.
'Gnasher' Red Claw
A lot of discussion today, but no real post, wanted to get one up to try and stay on track to one a day.
Nodding in agreement with Lupe, Gnasher crosses the gate house towards the water. Slinking out the door and down to the bank, ducking as low as possible keeping a keen eye out as the others join him. Once everyone is out of the building and near the bank he will lead the towards the other set of buildings, looking for a way to get inside, out of plain view.
Following the green line. Is there a lower bank or are we in the water, or is it a drop off and the water not an option.
