Prism and Unset similarly can't help reacting to the sound!

Rova hisses as the spores burn her, though she's able to avoid the worst of it. She had enough experience growing up to know what a vrock can do. She calls out again to Thkrull to get the demon as she fires a couple more arrows at it.

Kennari quakes but, eyeing the charging elephant behind the demon, holds his ground. He focuses on the joke still ringing around the demon's mind, then casts a pair of defensive wards to protect himself and Niksi.

Rova hits the xulgath with an arrow, and then Prism finishes him off with a powerful attack!

The room is trashed, but with a little time, you may be able to find some treasures.

"Oh, look at what I found, Kennari," Rova says, holding the stole out for him to analyze.

She starts tending everyone's wounds as he looks over the items they found.

Prism wipes her sickle free. "Wow Kennari! Thatoversized..vulturereally..likedyou." She looks around to see what Rova and the rest find lying about.

Kennari closes his eyes for a moment, lets out a long breath, then shudders. "It very much did not, and that terrified me. I thought for sure--ooh, what is it?" He is quickly distracted from the memory of his fear as he rushes over to examine the stole Rova found. "My, what a beautiful piece! You see this?" he says, pointing to words embroidered into each side of the stole in golden thread. "That's a litany about the nobility of mankind. A little heavy-handed, if I'm honest, but fascinating nonetheless. It seems to have some magic about it too, both divination and abjuration." He quickly launches into a short lecture on the history of such stoles, and the benefits, both magical and cultural they historically lent to their wearers.

"Are you OK, Unset? Do you need help?" Rova calls as she shifts her attention to the xulgath.

"Been better, I has. But, don't wish t' trouble ye," Unset responds.

Catching his breath after the xulgath falls, he searches around and finds a jar of luminescent paste.

"Don't worry about ole Unset, none. I'll be fine," he says, sitting down to tend to his injuries. Rather than ask for aid, he silently peers into the jar, considering whether to apply its contents to his aching form.

"Oh, no, I can help you," Rova says, pulling out her tools. I think we'll take our usual time to heal up.

"I wonder if there are more xulgaths and demons down here..."

Moved Thkrull to the next spot I think we should head when we're ready and our internets are all working.

After healing everyone's wounds and searching for intact relics, including a beautiful platinum holy symbol of Aroden that Niksi finds, the party moves onward.

The double door to this large, open crypt leads to a
small balcony and a short flight of stairs. The stone railing on the balcony has been knocked onto the floor a few feet below. Several metal slabs protrude a few inches above the floor, each bearing a life‑sized representation of a reclining human priest. That the slabs cover graves is obvious, as three of the lids have been torn from the ground to reveal shallow pits.

One xulgath is riding atop an enormous triceratops outfitted with a harness. She urges the dinosaur to pull the stone slab off one of the crypts as two other xulgaths look on.

Distracted by their work, they don't seem to notice the door opening!

Kennari takes a moment to quickly assess how robust the stonework within looks, then sighs and mutters an incantation, flinging a small red bead of fiery energy into the room where it explodes in a ball of fire! He then casts a defensive aura that envelops the space around him.

"Dinosaur ridin' grave robbers?!" Unset exclaims, attempting to make sense of the scene his eyes have been cast upon.

Once the flames have subsided, the fleshforged man rushes into the room, attempting to slide beneath the dinosaur.
