His grandfather used to say: "Don't spit on gods and don't reject their blessings when given. "

He walks next to Junior looking at the stream of water hitting the homunculus. He takes his shortbow crafter in Mwangi forests, the wood is thick and covered in sacred symbols.

Yes, when dropped to dying condition you initiative is set to right before the initiative of the action that dropped you. Doesn’t make much difference in PbP group initiative, except if you are dying I would wait to process your actions until last, that way giving everyone else a chance to save you first. So assume the only action from your initial post is the poison save and you have the remainder of your turn left to take.

Anjo comes to with a jolt. He instinctively reaches for his bow and then his throat. He can feel the wounds from the hags nails and realizes some foul magic has infected him.

Anjo realizes his plan had gone awry. He had hoped to beat the hag at her own game, pretending to believe her, but Orla seems to have revealed the truth and the hag revealed her true form immediately. He hadn't considered someone else would have seen through the disguise

Bow now in hand, Anjo stands up and moves behind Orla, hoping to put some distance between the hag in order to use his best weapon.

Jr jumps into action using his magic to blast the Orange Homunculus with freezing cold water. The Homunculus didn’t know what him as he is frozen solid and forced back falling dead in the space next to the green hag. (Forced movement rules stops when it can’t move into an occupied or solid square.)

Orla cast healing magic on Anjo and enlarges her bless aura.

Stepping up Teja feints unsuccessfully at the hag followed by an ineffective swipe with her dagger.

Resisting the poison bite, Raznik snarls at the Homunculus that bit him marking it as his prey. The goblin moves within the aura of Orla and fires his bow at the creature. The first arrow misses, but the second one manages to hit killing the misshapen creature.

Moving next to JR, Xun fires his cold iron arrow at the hag hitting her easily. As the cold iron arrow imbeds into the hag’s body it burns her doing addition damage as she screeches in pain.

Anjo regains consciousness grabbing his bow, he stands up and moves behind Orla.

@Junior Peppers - One thing it's important to recognize is that when you stand where you're standing, you block everyone else behind you from getting a clean shot. When using ranged weapons from a distance, do not position yourself directly on the perpendicular. If you're one square off it, you still get a clean shot and anyone behind you gets a clean shot.

@GM - with permission can I have Junior Peppers move one square south? It won't effect his shot at all and if we were at a table, I would be able to let him know to move one square down.

As sorcerer cross in front of Anjo, the ranger calls out, [b]"Keep moving, do not stop there!"

JR moves and shoots a ball of fire missing hag completely.

Xun fails to demoralize the hag with his lame “death is coming..”[b] she’s heard that one before. The hag successfully resists the chilly touch taking only a little frost damage.

Teja jumps up from her dirt nap picks up her rapier from where it was dropped and stabs the hag in the back again, but in her weakened state, it does only a little damage.

Teja:
Note actions please, standing and picking up dropped weapons take an action each. Adjusted Teja’s actions to Stand/Interact object/Strike. BTW 2nd&3rd were misses anyway so no real change except holding one less weapon.

Anjo yells for JR to keep the fire line clear and the sorcerer complies shifting further. Anjo first shot misses a little to the left so he overcorrects and misses to the right and it just gets worse from there with all four shots missing the hag.

Raznik makes his attack sending two arrows the hags way. The first just misses followed by another miss. The goblin snarls again at the hag with the same unimpressive result.

The hag cackles with glee, [b]” Your days are numbered and it is a very small number!” She lashes out again at Teja connection with the first claw attack with enough force to drop her again. (Dying 3)

The witch turns on Orla, ” Now for you, my pretty no more healing from you.” The hag attacks hitting Orla with an ugly claw strike, but missing with the second due to the shield.

The hag continues to bleed from Xun’s tendril attack earlier and it still hasn’t stopped.

BOT: Resisting the enfeebling touch Orla once again cast a healing spell on Teja again and then shield on herself.

Teja once again wakes up with her face in the dirt prone with both dagger and rapier laying next to her. (Wounded 3)

*** Combat Over ***

When Green Hag falls, so does the last spiritual barrier keeping the kami caged inside the green scarf relic. With a warm green light, the relic smoothly ejects a small humanoid figure with moss-like skin and a conical hat.

The kodama bows to your group ” Thank you for both returning me to my home and dispatching the usurpers that had profaned its grove while I was imprisoned. Please keep the scarf even so it is now only a non-magical relic. Your group will forever be welcome in this stretch of the Forest of Spirits.”

With the villain defeated and Kodama freed, the Pathfinders lead the caravan safely along the remainder of the Spirit Road into Minkai. There they reunite with Amara Li and present her with the relic.

Amara is relieved to see everyone returning safely, including Lin Po and Ti Lan. She listens keenly to the tale of their exploits in the Forest of Spirits, fascinated that the scarf relic housed a trapped kami all this time and that neither she nor her benefactor had any idea. Finally, she suggests that all of the agents take a well-earned rest before embarking on new adventures.

Thanks for playing It’s been great fun! For a little while, it looked dicey, but you came through in the end!”
