@GM - that first roll was for Init, not Study Subject, so now I'll take the Inv's turn.

Now, I have to wonder if the -2 on Perception would apply to this check, and I am thinking it would, so should be a fail on SS.

He hollers towards the old woman.

Oddly enough, as the ball of flame strikes the fey so does a chunk of ice.

Produce Flame Cantrip:

Produce Flame Cantrip 1
Attack Cantrip Evocation Fire
Source Core Rulebook pg. 360
Traditions arcane, primal
Cast Two Actions somatic, verbal
Range 30 feet; Targets 1 creature
A small ball of flame appears in the palm of your hand, and you lash out with it either in melee or at range. Make a spell attack roll against your target's AC. This is normally a ranged attack, but you can also make a melee attack against a creature in your unarmed reach. On a success, you deal 1d4 fire damage plus your spellcasting ability modifier. On a critical success, the target takes double damage and 1d4 persistent fire damage.
Heightened (+1) Increase the damage by 1d4 and the persistent damage on a critical hit by 1d4.

Blood Magic:

Blood Magic: Water
Elemental energy surrounds you or a target. Either you gain a +1 status bonus to Intimidation checks for 1 round, or a target takes 1 damage per spell level. The damage is bludgeoning or fire, according to your elemental type (see below). If the spell already deals that type of damage, combine it with the spell’s initial damage before determining weaknesses and resistances.

Stride, 2 actions to cast.

I'm not sure if Dangerous Sorcery applies to cantrips. If it does then add in 1 damage.

Dangerous Sorcery:

Dangerous Sorcery Feat 1: Sorcerer. Source Core Rulebook pg. 198
Your legacy grants you great destructive power. When you Cast a Spell from your spell slots, if the spell deals damage and doesn’t have a duration, you gain a status bonus to that spell’s damage equal to the spell’s level.

So what is the convention with crit damage? The rule book seems to imply it's just doubled, but the GM can also allow players to roll it. I think Paizo made the default doubling because of the +10 crit which the player wouldn't know if it was a crit.

Relevant rule:
When this happens, you roll the damage normally, adding all the normal modifiers, bonuses, and penalties. Then you double or halve the amount as appropriate (rounding down if you halved it). The GM might allow you to roll the dice twice and double the modifiers, bonuses, and penalties instead of doubling the entire result, but this usually works best for single-target attacks or spells at low levels when you have a small number of damage dice to roll.

Orla perks up at the request for a healer.

"I can assist," she says, moving to Junior's side as the herbalist attempts to aid Teja. She frowns a bit at the attempts, pulling some medical equipment from the satchel around her shoulders.

"Well, that's interesting," she says diplomatically. "What if we try this?" Orla cleans the wound and applies a fresh bandage.

I have healer's tools. Take 10 minutes.

"Well that didn't work," Orla remarks. "Why don't we just try this a different way?"

"I learned from my mother. The best way is to be taught by a mentor, or at the very least with a book for reference, because like you said: some ARE poison." Junior appreciates the interest in most of the others. A certain Halfling less so.

"Herbalists have been treating maladies for centuries. Its good information to know for when the Gods aren't listening." He stows the rest of his tools away and takes a seat to hear Wind Lu's answers.

Orla asks about the creatures, Wind Lu shugs ” Some sort of fey?”

Anjo takes one of the offered arrows.

Teja asks for medical attention for her injury.

JR scouts around for more sneaking foes, but doesn’t find any. Taking 10 minutes he is able to treat some of Teja’s wounds.

Xun takes one of the special arrows as well.

Raznik takes the remaining fancy arrow.

Orla offers to assist in healing after the bandages and ointments fail to help she resorts to magic that heals all the damage.

Teja asks for more information about the caravan. Wind Lu sadly shakes her head ” They were insistent on taking the old road and wouldn’t say why. They had three wagons with them. I can show you where the old path branches off from the road.” From their names and description you feel confident this is the lost caravan you are looking for.

Examing the old path shows that it would be hard going for your wagon slowing you down considerably. People and mounts can move normally along the path.
