Nasar's Clubbed Narrative

Game Master Nigawabi

Nasar the rouge has always had a wild time holding onto people. When he is cursed with a sentient shadow of an Ooze he slowly begins to turn the only thing by his side. Where will this dynamic duo go next!?!

Unable to remember how susceptible the shadows are to being goofed on, Nasar does his classic strategy of dropping an attack to get advantage and make the shadow flat footed on another attack.

Nasar manages to easily trip up the shadows concentration as it takes two slashes letting loose more energy from its core. After the onslaught of slashes the small shadow starts to glow, it crouches to the ground and practically melts onto the surrounding area letting up a shadowy wisp of energy that explodes upward.

After the explosion of dark energy the announcer is heard, Oh, and one goes down for the left team! Now to put the soul down the well hole and score the first point of the match! Remember ladies and gentlemen 10 souls and the Shadow Legend appears! The first to take it down WINS THE MATCH! CAN NASAR AND HIS TEAM TAKE THIS WIN? OR WILL BELTHAZAR AND HIS TEAM CATCH THE WIN!?

A small red orb is left behind the explosion.

Remember standard action to grab and you heal Xd3 health on pickup (X=current orbs held)

Marissa takes another stab with her sword as the other beast slams her in the back. The babau continues to slice and dice.

Lily and Genesis sling spells and vials at the 2 shadows as another shows up in the mess.

Deract some 20 feet back yells to the center group. I wouldnt stand there for too long now if you dont want shadowy hell rained down!! he looks ready to burst with dark energy.

Another shadow appears at the back of the right side, he seems to start charging up some kind of spell.

Nasar grabs the orb and heads Deract’s warming and takes a 30ft move out of there, making way towards the spellcasting shadow.

Nasar manages to weave through the lightning bolt with ease and as he does a twist through he sees Marissa duck under it as well and get slightly burned by it. Marissa drives her sword upward as it pierces the brutes jaw sending it to the afterlife as its orb floats where it once stood. The babau snags the orb and does a dip to the side to flank the other brute with Marissa.

The announcer cries out as the crowd rages harder than before, And another tag team takedown by Marissa and the Succubus' aid! And it seems the right side has taken down 2 shadows within 5 seconds of one another! The Druid and the Battle Bear strike true! This is still anyone's game! Just wait until Invasion Time ladies, gentlemen, genies, and goddesses!

Lily and Genesis continue to hold there own as Deract finnaly blows his top as about 10 energy bolts fire off his mortar tail onto Marissa, the babau, and the brute. The area is plumed with dark energy.

Nasar drives his blade straight ahead and as he reaches the shadow it utters a word with a quick hand wave and it turns into a dark cloud of smoke. Nasars blade passes through the cloud and retracts as it turns back into the shadow. It then backs up 5 feet towards the edge of the arena and cracks a smile as he casts a spell. His body starts blinking in and out of visibility like a crappy picture show. He stands unmoving appearing and disappearing rapidly but prepared for the next attack.

Unless Nasar uses spellcraft he dosent know what's happening

The brute dips to the side to bust the duo's flank as they all brawl. Lily and Genesis manage to drop the 2 small shadows and their orbs sit floating as they attempt to take out the 3rd.

A huge creature touches down in the center behind Marissa and the babau. It drags its giant knuckles across the ground and looks like a tumorous head with a small mouth. It let's out a mighty roar and slams the ground.

The announcer cries out. AND HERE COMES AN ENVOY! THIS WILL TAKE ALL THE EFFORT OF THE TEAMS TO SCORE A BIG LEAD!

The crowd goes absolutely insane as both side seems to have accomplished their own feats. The announcer begins. One after the other shadows fall against the dynamic Battle Bear duo! With some help of their Android partner they've fallen 4 shadows with one slick fireball! And there they go to the well to drop 6 in! The Left can still catch up if they defeat their Envoy before the Right! And my gosh by a stroke of luck Nasar falls a blinking shadow! What finesse!

As the dark dust settles a very beat up Marissa and the babau fight the brute in the shadow of the huge shadow beast. It roars once more before picking up a giant piece of the ground and hurling it at Genesis some distance away.

Healing, Mass: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

With the temporary headache of the screech he managed to protect himself from still pulsating in his head, Nasar barely makes it to the next enemy unable to muster up an attack but at least tries to provide a flank for the babau.

Nasar sluggishly tumbles through the Shadow Beasts huge area of control in an attempt to not get thwacked.

Acro check: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (20) + 21 = 41

Nasar effortlessly dips through the creatures legs as the crowd goes crazy at his sudden burst of speed.

The babau takes this moment to slash the creatures leg once more and Marissa takes a charging run into the beast with her sword now glowing. By the mighty request of Ragathiel I WILL SMITE THEE! and the beast looks down as she does a upward slash with her sword that practically pierces the heavens as the creature reels back in agony.

The mental scoreboard in everyones head hits 0-5 as the announcer shouts, And the Battle Bear deposits all his Orbs in the heat of battle, ladies and gentlemen its INVASION TIME! And the crowd goes nuts as a portal opens on the edge of the arena where they all began.

Lily concocts another bomb and flails it at the creature sending infernal sparks flying outward. Genesis bonks the small shadow over the head sending him crashing and leaving an orb behind.

To recap, genesis has 3 orbs, Babau has 1, Nasar has 1, 1 is on the right field. The shadow beast is huge and Marissa is on bottom, nasar is on left and babau is on bottom. Lily is approaching from the left. Genesis is on far left. The only shadow left is the Envoy.

The sound of thunder strikes down as 2 shadows appear on the left and 2 appear on the right. They all start casting spells and the well behind the Beast closes up and the Android from the opposite team drops down from a portal near the entryway.

The announcer cried out, And here we go ladies and gents an old fashioned INVASION. the Android begins running with its barebody charging straight for Marissa. This power is useless in the case of rainy weather or any situation where things are constantly hitting the ground (Earthquakes, sandstorms, falling debris) or incoporeal creatures.

Nasar laughs "No no I was raised with the understanding that panicking does no good. And I like to talk to my opponent, fighting is relaxing and I try to make friends with those around me. Especially when I don't have to worry about mortality." While talking he keeps his focus on club staying spread out, moving only another 30 ft towards her voice. blade readied to slice her if Club detects her presence.

Male Human

A slight pitter patter is heard as the voice trails now behind him away from the edge. Your faceless attitude of this temporary death is only akin to your pridlessness, you plan to make the same mistake 100 times dying every single time before you reach your end goal. We are not the same... and just before she finishes Nasar senses a step trail off the corner of Clubs radius. Behind Nasar to his left. Club retreats back into Nasar after sensing the footstep.

As Nasar slashes outward as he poofs into view and nothing happens. He is immediatly shunted to the side as the Android appears to try and grapple Nasar again.

She fails to trip up Nasar and releases him forward as she then gasps for air as the grapple is broken. She seems a little unnerved at being choked by supposedly nothing. She backs away 50 feet straight using her Abundant Step triggering another Attack of Oppurtunity from Nasar.

I wonder how many more times that little trick of yours can work until you run out of ki." Nasar readies his move action to move closer to his party if the Android approaches again.

Male Human

She stands above him seething with rage. She lifts one hand and the crowd goes absolutly bonkers. The announcer losses his s#*@, IS SHE GOING TO SURGE!!

The crowd can be heard through the muffled approach of death Nasar is experiencing.

SURGE! SURGE! SURGE!

She positions her fingers in a flicking motion right in Nasars face and her entire body lights up blue as her circuty fires all its cylinders, she speaks low enough for knly Nasar to hear, Your no underdog, just understatement. she lets her flick go on his nose sending a thundercrack sound through the air.

My minimum damage drops you below 0 which is death here

The flick send Nasar back as his arms can be seen in front of him perish into a dark cloud. He falls back and begins freefalling down a dark abyss with no bottom. Before he knows it he appears back at the start of the arena. His team fighting and throwing orbs in the now open well the announcers voice can be heard.

-And now they up the score to 8-10 with the Arena boss touching down on the right side! Can B-T480's team take them down. Either way its INVASION TIME ONCE MORE BUT FOR THE LEFT! Will they sacrifice one man to put the right back a few steps!?

The well glows a vibrant purple signifying to jump in. And the team can be heard saying:

Marissa, Heck no! You saw what she did to us!?

Lily, We need to focus on here!

Deract, Nasar can do it hes the shot caller!

Genesis, FIREBALL! and an explosion goes off in the distance.

Invasion allows you to jump to the other side and deal increased damage to the enemy as you disrupt them. Since you cant drop Orbs the Boss is already spawned kills heal the Boss causing them to lag behind. You can choose to return as a Move action or if you die on the other side.

Nasar sprints back to the group, looks over them all and then to the well. "You all are doing so well and we may be able to catch up to them...but, they work so fast that I don't think that's enough." Nasar draws his weapons and leans against the well, facing his crew. "I can go over and slow them down, I trust in you all to do continue fighting in my absence."

Male Human

They all send him off as he jumps into the well. He is immediatly redirected to the other arena that looks the exact same. Except his team is replaced by a colossus of a shadow in the middle slamming down on the enemy team. Nasar sees all this through a slightly dimmed vision then hes used to. Almost like hes a shadow himself.

The announcer yells out. INVASION TIME ONCE AGAIN LADIES AND GENTS NASAR TAKES THE RIGHT FIELD. FOR REVENGE OR FOR PURE COMBAT WE WILL SEE!!

A small quip of Varis pops into Nasars head, Get them my champion! Remember you deal increased damage on this side and the shadows are your ally!

roll all damage dice as double the damage. So 4d6 is 4d12. You can choose to go back to your side as a move action or are sent back when dropped to 0 hp. You can flank with shadows. Battle bear and druid are on left side. Android and Dragonkin on right side. And kyton is center, if you approach her she is being threatened on the opposite side by the boss' giant threat area. The boss sits stationary in the middle.

The kyton turns around with her chains in hand twirling them around. She yells out, I'LL HANDLE HIM LADIES YOU KEEP FIGHTING. IF THE BOT TOOK HIM DOWN THIS SHOULD BE CAKE.

She is 40 feet away

The darkness begins to surround Nasar about 25 feet all around and the screams and howls are too much for him to bear as he goes deaf from the screams.

Nasar also becines quite puzzled by everything happening around him. He babbles as he tries to gain a grasp on reality in this dark haze.

Nasar takes a double move backwards and tries to figure out wtf is happening.

Male Human

As Nasar travels back he reaches 15 feet before the arena opens back up. The corridor he entered is now at his front and the darkness stands behind him. His hearing comes back instantly. He finishes his movement standing 45 feet away from the cloud.

The kyton appears out of the darkness as it begins to disperse slowly. Where ya going? Don't wanna play anymore?

The Dragonkin lets out a fiery flame from his mouth, Look at him hes all banter but no mettle! One stab is all he could get in! Send him packing!

To which the crowd can be heard doing a clap chant (like Suplex City) SEND HIM PACKING Followed by claps and it repeats.

Nasar is able to come to his senses and his confusion dissipates after this round.

The announcer yells out, And while Nasar plays footsies with the Right the left has summoned their Arena Boss!! There a little bit behind the Right but Nasar has the chance to regain the lead with some swift kills!

The crowd has now turned to, KICK HER ASSSSS Followed by the claps again repeatedly.

She watches him get up and run and dosent attack but instead bursts out in laughter. Look at him Belthazar running like a dog with his tail between his legs.

And the Dragonkin retorts with a gasp of air and a flare of fire out his nose in laughter.

As Nasar back tracks farther down the straightaway he finds himself at the edge of the arena. All that lies before him is a dark chasm. With 10 feet to his left and 10 to his right the Kyton closes in slowly. She ends 15 feet away frkm him and crosses her arms. Well... you gonna do me the favor and jump?
