it all looks good to me :)

sorry about the delay. Work got crazy this week after missing a few days last week. I updated the marching order.

Hey everyone, I have to give my apologies my delay in posting too. I've started a new teaching job this past week and have been focused on getting my head around the syllabus.

For the next week and a bit I might be down to one post every two days but I'll try to get back to daily posts asap.

Having lots of fun though, thanks DM :)

@Ottast good luck with the start of classes? What do you teach? And I am glad you're having fun. That is the number one point of all of this.

@Jujo Taking a 5-foot step is a Miscellaneous Action which is not listed under the actions you can take while staggered.

That being said, your concentration does prevent any AoO

Staggered:

A staggered creature may take a single move action or standard action each round (but not both, nor can he take full-round actions). A staggered creature can still take free, swift, and immediate actions. A creature with nonlethal damage exactly equal to its current hit points gains the staggered condition.

I've never heard of a miscellaneous action before. Looking in the PRD 5' step is listed in the No Action section along with delay.

That being said since he didn't take any cold damage from the attack he shouldn't be staggered. Typically if you take no damage from an attack because of some form of resistance you don't take any side effects either.

ohhhh... you are correct! I completely overlooked that. I 100% apologize.

I teach Art and Design in High school- years 7 to 12.

I forgot to say... Congrats on your new job!

Question about resting. How would you all like to handle this when you are not in a inn or tavern? My in person play group used to use three shifts of 4 hours so that everyone would get 8 hours. We would typically have casters take the first or last shift so that they can get a straight 8 for regaining spells and abilities.

Let me know what you would like to do so that I can put it in my notes. Also let me know what watch shift you would like.

Do you mean that if a caster doesn't rest for 8 hours straight they don't regain spells?

My RL group usually organizes it depending on group size and Perception bonus. So for us 5, we have Trawets and Ottast with good Perception.

We could do
Hours 0-4: T+J
Hours 4-8: Ra+O
Hours 8-12: Re

We'd be more vulnerable during the last shift, but I really can't think of another way.

You mean like staggered sleep/guard times?
I'll go with the group but it would allow us a bit of RP.

Also, unless anyone objects I'd like Otta to take Dansby's bow.
(And check the loot sheet in case there's something you want.)

I mean a sleep order so that if the DM wants to introduce a random encounter while we sleep, they can roll to see which shift the attack happens.

I hadn't realized Dansby had left loot. Sure go ahead. We should remember we have those pots, tho. Thanks DM for having that loot sheet.

Ottast was looking over Dansby during these rounds while everyone else was messing with the Elemental.

I'll take whatever spot is needed.

Wizards and Witches need 8 hours of sleep, it does not say uninterrupted. Bards and sorcerers do not have the 8 hour requirement.

Correct, was just giving all of you an example of what we do in person for overnight resting.

Kind of at a standstill until the rest of the party takes their turn.

Waiting anxiously!
