Tamerius starts to inhale gas, but manages to protect himself with his scarf.
And Tamerius feels Asmodeus is with him, maybe thanks to the great speech he made.
(Tamerius gets 1 Hero Point, so, in effect, this one back)

Tamerius looks around, trying to spot what is going on.
He spots a third colored plant.
(the third X, to the bottom right)
And he sees small particles, like pollen, floating in the air around those three plants.
"The gas... it is emitted by those three bushes. It is floating around them..."

The three X plants are rooted, and seem to not be moving.
They have emitted clouds of gas, that are floating around.
(everything within the light brown light is filled with gas)

Giggett, reacting quite quickly, shoots hastily an arrow on the dangerous bush.

Attack VS Flat-Footed: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

But she doesn't take the proper time to aim and ends up being not accurate at all.
She takes a little bit more time to aim the second one...

Attack VS Flat-Footed: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + (5) = 7 piercing damage + precision piercing damage.

And this time, her arrow should damage the opponent (I guess).

She then leaves the cloud of pollen and moves next to the bush (avoiding provoking attacks of opportunity if the monster has no reach), to give a flanking position to her buddies.

Giggett fires two arrows, the second one is better aimed and hits the bush, piercing its trunk: parts drop the ground, and sap starts leaking out...

Giggett then moves carefully, out of the bush's reach.

The three colorful plants do not move.

But other small bushes, with one long tendril raising up above their leaves, start moving.
You see there are four of them in all.

The blue one comes down from the north, and at a distance, lashes out at Tamerius.
Giggett sees these plants have reach with their tendrils...
Blue lashes out, but Tamerius manages to duck and the tendril misses.
But then the tendril comes swinging back and-- connects!
The tendril has some sort of acidic sap and big thorns, hurting Tamerius... and these things attach to the cleric, grabbing him.

The yellow bush comes waddling up from the south, and lashes out at Natsume.
It totally surprises the woman, and its tendril latches onto her neck!
But Natsume reacts by raising her shield and blocking some of the blow... but the plant is too far to be pushed.
The tendril remains attached, grabbing Natsume.
Crit' ; 6 damage ; 5 blocked ; 1 damage to Natsume & shield ; grabbed (see below)

The green bush comes up and lashes out at Natsume.
The tendril attack manages to latch on to her and hurt her... grabbing her.

Then the bush retracts its tendril and lashes out at the warrior again, managing bypass her shield thanks to Natsume being flatfooted. She is hurt and grabbed again.

The red bush lashes out with its tendril, and manages to snag Sitril's leg! Hurting and grabbing the dwarf.

Then the bush forms another tendril, speedily growing it thanks to its sap and bark and leaves... and it lashes out at Tamerius, connecting with him, hurting and grabbing him also.

The red bush finally grows a third tendril, but it breaks loose and drops to the ground when it tries to attack Giggett!

Some of you are grabbed, others are double grabbed. But these small bushes are not very strong, and only have a light hold on you.
Light Hold

Giggett coughs and clears her head... the poisonous gas no longer clouds her mind.

I just finished re-reading the rules on Multiple Exposures and the threads on Paizo re. this fight - wanted to get the overlapping clouds right, how long they remain, the difference between moving up or down the poison track, and what happens when you get poisoned again if you are still in the cloud...
Lots of moving parts!

Just saying, Sitril is Strong-blooded dwarf, which means that his successful roll vs poison counts as 2 and crits as 3.

Fortitude save 1, without +1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Fortitude save 2, with +1: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 9 + 1 = 27

Sitril looks at the moving bushes and first, he is surprised and then worried. He looks with puzzlement when they begin the attack. His anger raises when he sees Tamerius being targeted by two of the enemies. His fury burns with cold fire within him as he wants to step towards the Cleric and set him loose. Feeling how his leg is attached to an enemy he moves towards that bush.

Attack, flanking, @red: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

But the attacks did not connect, as his axe is entangled in some of the branches.


1st action: rage. -1 to AC, +5 temporary HP
2nd and 3rd: sudden charge @red

Sitril's raging anger makes him burn the gas up before it hits the lungs, and he is both clear headed now, and unaffected by the gas he breathes in.
But, though he stumbles up to the red bush, he does miss it.

Moved, btw. what whould happen if I taken red enemy with me away from Tamerius? Red holds both of us, and it makes it stay within 10ft from who it holds. If I move in the opposite direction will it simple let go one of us?

Giggett uses Sitril's presence as a diversion and attacks the plant in her weakspot (yes, Giggett knows plants a lot, and thus their weakspots!).

Unfortunately, this was no weakspot at all, more of a strong spot!

Switching tactics, she decides to call on the powers of nature and conjures an arc of lightning between the bush in front of her and the one Natsume's attacking, using Natsume's blade as some sort of focus (or lightning rod).

Electric Arc: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 lightning damage on red and yellow, basic Reflex save DC 18.

Thanks to Sitril'sdiversion the plant is flat-rooted and, by Asmodeus, in whom Giggett should have more faith, there IS a weak spot! And Giggett pierces the plant again.
(rolled 2d6 damage for you, correct?) 6 damage

Then Giggett conjures an arc of lightning that totally fries the bush in front of her!
Crit' fail: 10 damage
The bushes burns up in a flash... and drops to the ground in cinders.

Sitril is no longer grabbed.

And Tamerius is no longer double-grabbed.

The other end of the arc is lightning too, but it all goes to Natsume's blade and does not hit the other bush. Too good a rod, there!
(Crit' success: no damage)

Tamerius, when released all of a sudden, is surprised, and inhales too much.
He first feels his mind reel, and then he inhales more... and his reels even more!

Tamerius then brings his hand down hard on the vine--
(using your 15+Unarmed Attack = success)
--and snaps it freeing, himself.

@Tamerius: since you are not grabbed anymore, nothing is difficult terrain (other than the log, and trees, on the map).
So I think you can move further if you want, or take one more action?

This feeling better works for her: she steps between the two and lashing out at green-- killing it in one blow!

You have seen that the gas was making people's minds muddled, and that Tamerius was holding his head. So, you do know that the gas probably did something to him. If you want to know re. what exactly, and maybe Confused etc. then I believe it is a Sense Motive check to see how his mind is operating.

Ok, nevermind, I'll handle him without knowing for sure.

"Guys, I'll let you handle the last plant, I'll try to slow Tamerius down until he retrieves his senses."

Giggett first tries to push Tamerius to the ground.

And despite her low strength, she manages to push him strong enough for him to fall. She then moves a bit away from him and shoots an arrow on the plant while doing it.

But she misses the plant from less than an inch.

The poison in Natsume's system gets worse--

--Natsume's head hurts and she is dizzy and very confused!
But she does not breath in more gas, at least.

Having caught whatever Tamerius had, she charges over to him and swings at him once... not hitting him, even though he is already prone, having been tripped by Giggett.

Then she strikes him again-- slicing into his leg.
