GM Zephyre's PFS 9-15 The Bloodcove Blockade 3-7 (Inactive)

Brave Pathfinders, Fola Barun and Guaril Karela [of the Exchange] are looking for agents to aid them in undermining an Aspis operation in the Bloodcove. Are you up for the task? They are especially interested in aid from anyone with experience in the region as it may help them with the task at hand.

This is my first time GM'ing PBP, but I hope to do an honerable job.

I request that whoever signs up tries to post daily, with the weekends as optional. This will also be my own minimum requirement, though I will try to be more available than that.

I will be using Google slides for maps.

For recruitment I am open to anyone level appropriate for the scenario, please indicate your level of interest in playing out-of-subtier if the others interested would make the APL fall that way. (Ie if you are a level 3 and really don't want to risk playing up, or a level 7 who doesn't think they will enjoy playing down, please say so and I will consider that instead of necessarily picking the first 6 sign-ups).

I would like to start Monday August the 12th, but if I don't have enough sign-ups or everyone is ready quicker, I can be flexible.

I really want to play this scenario with this character.

But Malachi is signed up for Hao Jin Cataclysm in the Gameday convention, and I don't have an alternative character free (for Hao Jin) in tier.

Class/es & level/s: Warpriest (Shieldbearer) 3
What does your character do: Oread Warpriest of Soralyon. Melee fighting primarily (two-weapon fighting with pick and shield bash). Can do a little bit of healing or buffing if needed.
Anything I should be aware of: Has the Fate's Favored trait.

Character name: Rami Azar (from Alkenstar)
Class/es & level/s: Gunslinger (Maverick) 1/Investigator (Sleuth) 2
What does your character do: Wild west lawman type. Ifrit. Skillmonkey. Fairly high initiative bonus.
Anything I should be aware of: Has an inspiration pool as well as a grit/luck/panache pool (has the Amateur Swashbuckler feat).

I have a PC that is in a game which I think will be ending in the next few days. He'd be my only high tier option if he becomes available.

Class/es & level/s: Brawler (snakebite striker) 1/Ninja 6
What does your character do: Grippli. Tries to act timidly and then attacks things from the shadows.
Anything I should be aware of: Does additional damage with nonlethal sneak attacks.

Malachi, if I do not have a full 6 person team by then, I will still run it at that point, but if I get the players who are available now then I will take them.

In earnest I am running this because I had the same desire with the character I will be applying the chronicle sheet to, but I did not see the scenario available online or at my LGS anytime soon.

There are probably a lot of PCs tied up in the gameday. I have a ton of PCs so it's less of an issue for me, but some people may have all their in tier PCs committed at this point.

I sometimes do the same, for example if I have played a game with the 'wrong' character. I'll keep an eye on this thread, just in case.

Speaking of the 'wrong character'....

Character name: Agirran the Fury!
Class/es & level/s: Fighter (viking) 2/Water School Elemental Wizard 2
What does your character do: Scares people, or rubs them the wrong way. Agirran is a 6'6", tattooed, Ulfen, Shackles pirate, ship's war wizard, who often hits people he doesn't like with his Norse greataxe.
Anything I should be aware of: Charisma 7, Intimidate +11, so he can be quite frank. He has his own theme song.

Yarr, Pirate Rob here. This is one of the few PF1 scenarios I haven't played yet.

What does your character do: Ranged Feinting Archer
Anything I should be aware of: Yarr

So far it looks like we have 4 players ready.

If we don't get any more, our levels are 4, 4, 6, and 3 or 7.

Either we are APL 4.25 or 5.25.

With 4 players we'd play low subtier either way but with my level 7 we'd play without the 4 player adjustment.

Happy Monday morning to all. I was hoping to get 6 players, but I can run for the four of you if no one has any objections.

If we get someone else interested before we get to the first encounter I am not opposed to letting them join, again if no one has any objections. (I am not the only one with an LGS that seems to always have someone running late am I?)

Any thoughts on which PC I should bring?

My ninja would probably mesh really well with the mesmerist, but the risk we run of me bringing him is that if a 5th player does show up we would have to switch to high subtier.

Michael, my best assessment would be that a Venture Captain would likely send a letter to Quarrion d'Schist if she/he also sent a letter to the other three members of your party.

I really had no preference. I just need to check his latest chronicle to see if there are any purchases to be made. I haven't played him since February.

I am going to go ahead and start the intro. If we have objections to running a 4 person party I will still hear them for now since it has only been a few hours since I asked, but since I said I wanted to start today and in case we don't we might as well get started.
