Unsure if provoking since its grappling (less familiar with combat maneuvers in Starfinder. Either way, risking it.

Reynold sinks another 5 feet down. But on the bright side, his shot hits Blue for 3 points of damage!

Obozaya, swimming is a move action so you can't full attack AND swim in the same round. I'll assume you spend the move action to swim then take a single attack.
Obozaya swings and connects with a devastating blow and the Izalguun goes unconscious, sinking down into the water!

Bluuuuu closes in on Red and attacks, landing a blow in the hopes of freeing Keskodai! Red is hit for 13 points of damage!

Spanner opens fire on Red, hitting twice for 18 points of damage!

When the tongue hits, Keskodai's armor flares and the impact rebounds toward the izalguun.

Triggering reflecting armor:
Once cast, this spell lasts for 80 minutes or until dismissed. When Keskodai takes Hit Point damage from an attack made by a weapon within 100 feet, he can dismiss this spell as a reaction, causing the attacker to take the same amount of damage (to a maximum of 10 damage, Reflex DC 18 half).

Keskodai meanwhile seizes the izalgunn's tongue and tries to bend it around one of the railing posts to immobilize the beast.

Grapple back : 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Hurry, allies. I will try to hold it while you subdue it.

Twich continues swimming and moves as quickly as possible along the catwalk to get closer to her allies!

Keskodai's spell triggers and a blunt force is reflected back upon Red causing 1 point of damage!
Keskodai then tries to counter grapple Red​but is unsuccessful!

Red attempts to pull in his tongue and reel Keskodai in closer!!
Tongue Pull, move action: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34
And Keskodai is unable to hold fast as he gets dragged 10' towards red, leaving Keskodai teetering on the edge of the catwalk!

Red then whips his tongue around attempting to lash Keskodai!!

Bludgeoning Damage: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Red fails to land a blow on Keskodai and loses his grip!

A concern may be the bleeding. Bluuu thinks, though he continues to focus on the one in front of him.

Reynold pumps his feet and this time he succeeds! Breaking the water's surface, psyching the Izalguun out, then hitting him for 4 points of damage! No RP expenditure needed.

Keskodai attempts another pistol shot, triggering an attack from Red!

Bludgeoning Damage: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Keskodai is hit for 11 points of damage and grappled!

Keskodai does manage to fire the pistol but getting once again grappled throws his shot far off!
Token has been moved back to original position as the grapple prevents movement.

Bluuuuu swings down hard! Twice! Ouch! Bluuuuu's herculean efforts knocks the red Izalguun out!

I'll assume someone immediately goes to stabilize Blue.

Combat Concluded!!!

Over the course of the next minute, the odd-looking, mutated Izalguun change shape and revert back to a 'normal' izalguun form! You quickly realize that in this form, they will drown underwater and with some effort, you pull them out.

We're nearly at the end but want to give everyone a chance to take some actions. You currently have three stable, unconscious, normal-looking izaalgun on the ground. The Tear, your goal for this mission, is also right where you saw it, still untouched. What would everyone like to do?

When his grappler goes limp, Keskodai immediately begins hauling it onto the platform. The tongue probably makes a handy handhold.

We should secure the obelisk. And be careful, these izalguun may behave irrationally when they wake. The transformation may be especially difficult for the young ones.

While clicking and whistling softly to its crystal-caged progeny, he checks the creatures' vital signs and anatomies and binds their wounds.

Picking up his dropped pike from the platform, Bluuu moves over to the obelisk and examines it. Of course. Do you think it may be best if when they wake, we have moved this artifact from their sight?

Bluuuuu sees no apparent dangers and moves to pick up the Tear. You're thwarted by what appears to be a sticky, hard organic material cementing it down. The material is not unlike the stickiness of the tongues that grappled you. However, after a minute or two of forcefully wrestling with it, you manage to wrench it off.

Congratulations! You're now the proud owner of a priceless, obviously dangerous magical artifact that mutated the residents of this complex to the point where wife murdered husband! And this object is right there... Held in your bare hands! Or bare tentacles rather!

Please roll a Fort save at a -20 penalty!

Nah! Just kidding. You're fine.

Everything is fine....

Keskodai expertly applies first aid to the unconscious izalguun, reviving all three of them. They wake up, very, very confused. After filling them in, one of the cured izaalgun identifies herself as Prima.

She says, "Oh no. Oh no no no! My dear Ralveen!" She breaks down in tears. "I did it. I killed him. But I was out of my mind, I never meant to! That. That THING!"

She points to the object held in Bluuuuu's tentacles.

"That thing changed me! Changed all of us! It has brought nothing but pain, anguish and death. Please. Take us back to our own people. There is nothing left for us here except for ghosts of the past. My people, I must turn myself in. The authorities will determine my fate."

And she breaks down in tears, her two children holding her, trying to comfort her.

He glances around a picks up whatever stray treasures are available, leaving his stronger colleagues to grab the radioactive beacon.

Reynold is right. Unfortunate circumstances will mitigate your judgement, if not among the izalguun, then when you face the Lady of Graves. You must be strong for your children. This will be an alien universe for them.

The shirren tries to comfort Prima. Presumably the children are non-verbal.

To the party, he communicates, We are fortunate. Their attitude is the best that could be expected in these circumstances.

Prima expresses gratitude for your kindness but nevertheless remains sullen during the trip back to Absalom station.

Upon your return to Absalom Station, you report your success to First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo. She says, [b]"Congratulations Starfinders!! What you have accomplished might be the single most important step in our endeavor to pierce the Godshield to date! This all but ensures us the opportunity to proceed with rescuing all of our fellow Starfinders trapped behind the Godshield!

"Due to your performance on this mission, I am putting you at the top of my short list of agents who will assist me in this rescue attempt. Make no mistake, we have a long and difficult road ahead. But your abilities are proven and I cannot imagine moving on to the next phase without you at my side. Get some rest, Starfinders. I will be in touch soon!"

As for Prima and her children, they are excited to reunite with their lost kin and you become known amongst the izalguun people as the Starfinders who managed to safely rescue the mutated family with no casualties.

Well done, everyone!!! Twich and Spanner's affliction is easily removed over the course of a day with Keskodai resting overnight and casting the remove affliction spell on you both during the trip back to Absalom.

Of course First Seeker. I am glad the mission was a success.

The barathu hesitates, then tentatively adds. I would advise you be extremely careful if you plan to use that obelisk to go through the Godshield. It seems radioactive, in an especially strange way. If the energy around the Scoured Stars is similar, there may be a chance the trapped Starfinders could be similarly afflicted and changed. Bluuu turns towards Reynold. We did find a serum that seems to counter the obelisk's energies. Perhaps analyzing it to make similar ones for humans, ysoki, and the like may be w good precaution.
