Question: Does one need to stand up from prone, if you have magical flight?
Can't you just fly away, as is, as prone is irrelevant when flying?

(Relevant in that the Gull and Hamish both are flying, it would give me another action on both)

Honestly, the weirdness of flight is that it doesn't actually remove the prone condition. I have allowed players to be prone in flight with the requisite penalties and bonuses until they take an action to 'right themselves'.

Edit: Reviewing the rules, it won't really make much difference. Anyone that has flight rather than air walk can eliminate the prone condition without an action.

No, once again, an antipaladin has no answer to bypass a wall of stone.

I was honestly expecting you to switch Hamish and the Gulls position so it was in full attack range.

He did 1d4+12 to Hamish... so that's 6 hit points/round... so 8 rounds if he goes that way.

Not sure if antipaladins get any sort of AE damage, but you did mention fire... that might blast it away quicker, even at half damage for energy attacks. And have the cool effect of blowing the entire dome apart if it works!

Hell those little red energy arcs from the sword to the wall might carve some away too.

I just didn't like both me and the eidolon being in the mid 30's on hit points! =)

Maybe his buffs will run out!
Or would they have gone away with his first 'death'?

Kasimir dispelled them, mostly. I don't think the fire would overcome the hardness. The lightning has no mechanical effect outside of speeding his regeneration and summoning the spirit.

Although now that I think of it...

How big is the circle?

I wouldn't have made it very large.
Enough to contain him, though it needs to be anchored to stone, so probably the walkway in front of the wall, but not so big it damages the wall (would catch major flack for that, I'm sure!)

Drew a little circle on the map. Say that big.


Question - What happened to the Eagles? I am pretty sure that they failed their Will saves. If possible I would like to move them from Initiative 4 of last round.

Sorry, I thought they had moved. They are all flatfooted for 1d4 rounds, which is unlikely to actually be relevant.


That is a very weird condition to inflict. Perhaps useful if you follow up with a sneak attack. I will move them and try to move the turn forward.

@Hamish - I am trying to get to you with a Heal spell but the helmet got in the way and now the explosion has us scattered to the four winds.

You know technically the sword should really be doing half damage against a stone wall as it is not an appropriate damage type against the hardness. Would it not be fitting if Vahlo was destined to spend eternity trying to escape the wall of stone that Hamish just put up and that future generations of pathfinders would be able to witness the sounds of the undead creature trapped in the stone. :)

Edit - I just realized that my character can summon Earth Elementals to earth glide in there. It might be a party in there pretty soon.

I am just happy to get it working on anything now. The Alchemists were immune, it did not work on Vahlo and it was useless in sealing the rift. I have pretty well all my high level spells so missing out on Ball Lightning is no biggie. :)

I cannot believe my rolling. Now even the Bombshell is getting infected....

It is so bad that I will get to my Ball Lightning again next round. That is crazy bad.

Is it luck, or does the Dark One look after his servants? Hmm.


My Cleric has negotiated with a Ghast and Devils of course but I don't think that the Ghost will go for your Diplomacy effort. Still who knows?

Kasimir, Copycat is a spell like ability and will provoke without a concentration check.


I think it is automatic for him with his Wisdom and level alone.

Yuri has a wayfinder and would not have stowed it away given that we are in the Grand Lodge.

It's probably too late to retcon, but I don't believe they do take half damage from heal.

Kasimir can adjust actions given the banishment of the spirit.

Incorporeal is referring to the Channel Energy feature, not the broader use of positive energy, unfortunately.


Again loose rules writing rears its ugly head. :)

While turning an object invisible to see what is inside is inventive I am not certain it will work. Will it?

But that wall is probably more massive than 1300 lbs. Typical stone 160#/cu.ft. probably more like 4300lbs with some rough math.

It is not a new trick and works even better with Vanish as it is a cheaper cast. It is really going to hit a lot of table variation. It is an illusion spell after all. :)


Just a reminder all characters but Bombshell have two potions of Cure Moderate Wounds for now. Bombshell is holding on to the wand of Cure Light wounds unless someone else wants to hold on to it.

Kasimir, when able, will place his hand on the stone wall to see if it is changing in temperature.

Earth Elementals actually have Knowledge Planes if is a creature. Pretty cool! Maybe he summoned his evil warhorse.

knowledge Planes: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

If he can pick up the horse with his tremor sense he will go for it first. If it is like a ghost and not picking up then smash the boss.
