The robot easily notices OP-1 and dodges his shot, while Jackojare is able to join the fight.
The room plunges into darkness as the overhead lighting turns off, making the series of small lights that briefly light on the robot appear to shine more intensely. As the lights on the robot turn on, Sarangari, M'shak, OP-1, and Ella, feel themselves being pulled towards the robot.

Walking next to the large data core that occupies the center of the room, you see that it can be accessed via a holographic keyboard and screens that respond to gestures and voice commands. The computer also contains obvious ports to connect data transfer and storage devices. However, there is no unsecured access to the data core. It will require a computers check to hack it.
Arratoi

"Well done every one! Retrieving the data should be a snap for this team!"
Arratoi will auto-assist all computers and/or engineering rolls.

Well done all. Our chance of success were 78.9%. says M’Shak after the robot falls into pieces.

M'shak hacks into the data core and accesses the secured firewall. She connects the mass storage drive provided by Historia-7 and rapidly copies the trove of data stored behind the firewall.
You are free to exit the complex without any further conflict and return to Absalom Station. When you do, you find that the Archives' Cortex is sealed and Historia-7 is unavailable to meet with you. You are met instead by a female shirren named Xarafo and a human male named Kalzel, who ask, "Were you successful in your mission? Did you obtain any data from the site?"
M'shak

Before closing the connection, M'shak delete all trace of their passage. Once satisfied, she decoct from the main datacenter and smiles to her comrades.
Done.
At the Lorespire Complex
M'shak relaxes once in the Lorespire Complex but her synapses' circuits starts running in alarm when they found the Archive's Cortex sealed.
The mission was 100% successful. Do you know why the Cortex is closed?
She tries to remember if she has already met the two Starfinders, Xarafo and Kalzel before.

'This seems fishy...,' Arratoi thinks to himself.
Arratoi quickly shushes M'shak and everyone else, stopping them divulging any more information regarding our success.
"Who are you two and by what authority do you have to question us regarding our mission? Neither of you are venture captains and as far as I'm concerned, you should not have any information about out mission! Who do you report to? Answer me quick or I'll have the full force of this Complex's security bearing down on you!"
Arratoi puts his hand on his pistol, ready to draw...

M'shak recognizes Xarafo and Kalzel as Dataphiles agents that have often been seen working in the Lorespire Complex.
Xaralfo says, "There's no need for that. We can take you to Venture-Captain Naiaj, if you prefer."
Kalzel rubs the back of his neck awkwardly saying, "We're not sure where Historia-7 is, but she asked us to meet you. She figured you'd be tired after the mission and the flight, and she wants that data analyzed immediately."
Arratoi
|
Arratoi relaxes and takes his hand off his pistol.
"Sorry about that. It's just that Historia-7 identified this data and this mission as highly sensitive. So it's odd that she'd disappear like this and doubly so with the archives sealed.
"Very well, let's check in with Venture Captain Naiaj. Maybe she knows what happened to Historia-7."
| GMParty |
Xaralfo and Kalzel accompany you on the brief journey to Venture-Captain Naiaj's office.
Naiaj instructs you to provide the data transfer device to the Dataphiles and says, "I'm sorry Starfinders; you can trust these two, but I don't have any more information for you at this time. Meet with me again in a couple days, and I'll be able to let you know what progress we've made studying what you found." With that she dismisses you. Xaralfo and Kalzel return quickly to the Lorespire Complex to begin delving into the data, and you are left to spend the time as you see fit on Abasalom Station.
When you meet with Naiaj two days later, she takes a slow breath before saying, "Historia-7... she's been taking some personal time. I realize this is not how we do things. I’ve only just formally been assigned oversight of your mission debrief and I’m still coming up to speed. I certainly appreciate your efforts.”
Naiaj pauses again before continuing, “In your place, I would want to know what you went to all the trouble for. We’re going through the data and are trying to ascertain who these people are and we’re not there yet. We do, however, know some of their recent activities, thanks to you. They’ve got financial data on almost every corporation within the Pact Worlds. We think they’ve been manipulating the markets, especially with regards to pharmaceuticals. Price fixing, if you follow. It’s disturbing because they appear to be trying to fix the price of medicine, system wide. I’ve got an uneasy feeling about this, but thanks to you… we have forewarning.”
And with that, we've wrapped the scenario. Go ahead and roll a flat d20 for the boon roll, and double check your info in the Discussion. If you're interested in the plot follow-up, #1-38 The Many Minds of Historia, definitely does. It also looks like #2-14 and #2-17 will, when they are released.
M'shak

M'shak listen carefully Naiaj's debrief, intrigued by what they found fixing the price of medicine, why? and worried about Historia-7 taking personal time.
At least, they got what they need.
Thanks, that was great!
