Looks good to me. :)

Although some of you have played in my games before (or are PBP veterans), a couple reminders once we are underway:

1) Please keep HP and AC status updated in your profile tag (see Idruzi's example above)
2) I will roll group init and track actions in order. If you want to post ahead, feel free. I may move you back or allow you to change your action if someone else goes before you and alters the playing field (blocks a charge lane, is injured, creates a pit, drops your target etc)
3) Miss is always low (1-20 or 1-50) on [1d100] if miss chance applies
4) If you want to try something a little off base...ask me. Sometimes the odd actions are the most memorable.
5) I use google maps (which works great at home, but not so much from my I-pad on the road, so I may ask for help updating).
6)When posting attacks or spells, make sure to include the intended target and weapon (including type, buffs etc) in the roll....like
MW Cold Iron Flail, PA, Bless: 1d20 + 5 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 5 - 2 + 1 = 14
This helps the forgetful GM make sure to apply DR correctly and not have to take time to look up your sheets. :)
7)Try to keep tactic discussions either in-character or short in discussion to simulate the 6 seconds between moves
8) If we need to pick a direction to keep things moving, I will apply the rule of 2 and use that as the stated party direction.
9)If you need to miss posting a day or two due to travel, let us know to BOT you.

Here is Idruzi's default spell list. I'm open to requests or suggestions. Ideally, I'd like to find room on L3 for a Prayer for RP purposes. The easiest spell to cut might be Daylight if someone has a consumable that can get us through darkness shenanigans. Lesser Restoration is probably less necessary than we're used on elemental planes, so maybe I should swap one out for Resist Energy despite the prepped communal version?

How much do we need the Bull's Strength? Idruzi has a +2 Strength belt, so it's marginally useful on himself. The other options for that domain slot would be one of Longstrider, Enlarge Person or Locate Object.

Just noticed the GM's init block, which has Natty at +1, but should be +6. I understand the confusion, there are several Natty type characters on my profile, but only Natty Grastik has a society number.

Not really. If you had L3 spells, I might've wanted help more to cover some bases but that's a bit off for you. I'd say that with Idruzi here you can afford to have a rather selfish spell list prepped.

With so many melee in the party, Idruzi will likely be playing support more than fighting anyway.

Late edit: that's probably a good thing for him. Idruzi's melee attacks are a lot more efficient if he doesn't have to make very many.

Funny story about that: way back when I bought a Scroll of Daylight before I realized that didn't make any sense (can't read in the dark) on my -2 sorcerer. Later, in a seeker tier scenario I decided to use the scroll just to have it gone, and I put it on the blade of her dagger.

I got lucky! A *REDACTED* came by and put up a darkness spell. I was able to negate it by drawing the dagger as part of a move action! Good times.

I agree that we aren´t probably the best to pull off the forgery and not sure how much we should trust mrs lovey dovey with the imp. We have the imp visible for the moment, which won´t be for long if things turn fighty. What do you guys think?

If we had enough time to gather any information about Basira's rivals, Idruzi would have been interested in that. Two hours might not be sufficient though.

Sabotage:
There are several different opportunities for the PCs to sabotage Basira’s party and embarrass him (or others).

If the players devise alternate means of surreptitiously sabotaging the event, consider allowing the strategy to work so long as they succeed at a few relevant skill checks using those below as a model.

Up to two characters can assist with any given skill check, and characters can work together to each fulfill one part of a sabotage’s requirements. However, the PCs can attempt each sabotage method only once.

Food: The main buffet table is covered in spicy food and strong drink that easily disguises the taste of many toxins. Adding such toxins while avoiding notice requires a Sleight of Hand check.

Music: Basira has hired a band of accomplished Medium and Large air elemental instrumentalists known as the Boreal Five to provide music at the gala. The group has already caused a stir in Zjarra. Once at the event, the PCs have several options. They can persuade the elementals to depart mid-performance, but doing so doubles the amount they must be bribed and increases the check. Alternatively, a PC can pressure the band to let the PC perform with them, at which point the PC can make the music especially discordant or introduce embarrassingly satirical lyrics with a Perform check.

Rumors: The PCs can foster slanderous rumors amongst the gala’s guests, either about Basira or about other guests, to foment chaos. A successful Bluff, Knowledge (local), or harder Diplomacy check allows a PC to spread sufficient rumors to cause an incident. For each of the following languages that the PC can speak, she gains a cumulative +2 bonus on the check: Auran, Draconic, Ignan, Infernal, Kelish, and Terran.

Staff: Numerous slaves—most the dwarflike outsiders known as azers—attend to the needs of Basira’s guests. Each wears a set of magic manacles linked by a delicate mithral chain, preventing the wearers from traveling beyond the estate’s grounds. (Disable Device in both subtiers). A slave can slip away discreetly once the manacles are removed. Any attempt to remove the manacles requires a successful Sleight of Hand or Stealth check to avoid notice. Freeing at least enough slaves leaves the gala seriously understaffed, fulfilling this objective. Furthermore, this earns the PCs the quiet assistance of the other slaves, failed skill check and use the second result in their efforts to sabotage the gala.

Other: Feel free to devise your own distractions similar to the above. You have to determine if you are trying to embarrass Basira or someone else and then justify the skills to do so.

I've got some slim options here. I would like to use Sense Motive to listen in on conversation that might yield Rumor opportunity. Maybe with a successful Sense Motive, I can reduce the difficulty of rumors?

Also, I saw an odd notice today. The game day reporting of tables was due Nov 17. But I was not sure if that was for session 1 or overall.

Originally the game day was intended to start earlier and then slid by a couple weeks. A week ago I had asked when the report date was for session 1 and was told Nov 17th. So I need to do some checking. I am still planning on running part 2 . But it may finish outside the shortened reporting window if Nov 17 is the end for both. I just wanted to let you know and see if any of you had heard otherwise.

From GD8 FAQ : Why only one session this year?
This allows for a shorter convention and for our GMs and players to have some extra breathing room between PbP Gameday and OutPost early next year.

I was under the impression that these conventions only allow for one scenario or short module to be run in the time frame as part of the convention. you could see if part 2 lines up with Outpost and we glide into that.

Can we just play part 2 as a normal game outside of Gameday and Outpost?

Part 2 will be my last Pathfinder 1 scenario. With that, I will finish all non multitable PFS scenarios.

I know prior gamedays and online conventions would have 2 slots. I am happy to run the second part afterwards, either as part of outpost or immediately after as just a regular game.

This particular mod is far more investigative and skill centric than most, so it is running longer than the typical 4 combats and done scenarios.
