@GM, thanks so much for the game! I think you did a great job at managing our pace through the PbP environment. Your combat recaps were very good, and even more importantly, your mission/scenario recaps outside of combat were excellent! One of the difficulties of the PbP environment--because the games can take so long--is losing track of what your PCs are trying to accomplish. I think you did a great job keeping us on track through the scenario. Kudos!

Does re-training include factions, or would I still have 4PP for grand lodge?

As Roxxie pointed out in the other thread, you can freely retrain your faction before level 2. Likewise, Roxxie was correct that your total fame is unaffected by the faction change.

However, the PP earned remains with the faction you earned it from. When you look at your Organized Play page, you'll see that each PC has a fame listing that includes the fame by faction and the total fame. If you already have 4 fame from Grand Lodge, and then you switch to The Concordance, it will look like this when you earn fame in The Concordance.

Grand Lodge: 4
The Concordance: 2
Fame: 6

In practical terms, this doesn't impact the character in any significant way that I can tell, but it will be broken up into which faction you originally earned the fame in. Presumably, since you purchase Prestige items through your faction, if you had 4 Prestige from the Grand Lodge and 2 from The Concordance, you wouldn't be able to make a purchase that costs 5 PP because you don't have enough with either to purchase from that faction. However, you'd still be able to make your magic item purchases up to the gp limit allowed by having 6 Fame.

Loved it! Very fun scenario, and I've got to second/third/fourth your excellent re-caps and pacing.

Never would have guessed this was any kind of early effort - I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for your games in the Lodge!

Although spending Prestige Points is described as calling in favours from your faction, I don't believe there is any rule in the Guide that says that all of a Prestige purchase must be funded from the same Faction - there are no Faction 'pools', the different totals are purely an artefact of the online character record and no more than that.

I'm going to say I agree with Boom Sticks. It may delineate a difference on the organized play page, but it gives no mechanical indication in the guild guide.

I'm glad to hear everyone enjoyed themselves! I'm GMing two PF1E for PbP Gameday, and last I checked I had open slots in at least one if anyone is interested. I believe Tazra is signed up in my 10-01 run.

I'll mark this as inactive on Tuesday if no one needs any chronicle sheet adjustments or has any other pressing matters.

One more word of praise: I also liked how you listed the targeted ac in your attacks against us. That gave me immediate info on whether you hit or not.
