For expediency, the magic of leveling up will act as a full rest and you can start with a full slate of powers, HP, etc. and proceed whenever you are ready. Assume the camels were watered and tethered before the rest of the party goes through the dark door.

The first thing that strikes you is the tapestries are hundreds if not thousands of years old. You wonder what power has preserved them all these years...

The tapestries depict a series of scenes that appear to tell the tale of a young prince that becomes king through the agency of dark magics. Once the prince becomes king it looks like waves of plague descend upon his lands and undead crop up in its wake. His justice is harsh and cruel and finally the people rise up behind a righteous warrior and after a long and deadly struggle overthrow the king, entombing him in a pyramid prison.
