Canetor
|
Canetor sees Vernon checking out the secret tunnel and takes a look inside. He says "We're going to have to check this tunnel aren't we..."
He remembers that there was a particular person among the now dead and asks their prisoner "What is a member of the cult of the Forgotten Pharaoh doing here?"
Ra-Khefer
|
Ra moved around the corner after Audi, then peered at the tunnel closely, running his fingers over the stonework.
He tried to discern anything about the workmanship, tools used, the people who dug it...

"This passage... it's old. Perhaps constructed early in the Old Kingdom." He turned and peered into the darkness.
"It looks like the kind that runs straight, and for a long distance; miles and miles under the walls of the city." He said, hushed at the skill of the old masters.
Canetor
|
Canetor comments "This could go on for miles and miles. Are we sure we've learned everything we could from this place here?" He takes the time to search all the dead.
| Vernon Tauls |
"This would be how they got around in the city. But we still need to question our prisoner and finish exploring this place. Who is the mistress? What stuff have they been gathering and where did they send it?"
| Daniel Penfold 351 |
"The mistress is Nebta Khufre, she serves the Forgotten One and promises to give power. We've been gathering ancient Osiriani artefacts and we were instructed to send them to the area known as the Ghoul Market, other teams were sent to loot villas and old courtrooms to frustrate the work of the temple of Pharasma."
| Emerald Oread |
"Where is your dumb mistress, anyhow?" Emerald demands of the man, fists on her hips.
Ra-Khefer

Ra grunted his agreement with continuing to explore the complex, despite the calling of the tunnel.
He moved to a wall and started examining the walls of the chamber for secret doors.

Canetor looks sideways to Navir and says "Let's avoid any unnecessary ruses. This Forgotten One is no laughing matter." He seems a little austere and starts walking down the dark tunnel, bow in hand, relying on his orcish heritage to see in the dark. Somehow, he feels more relaxed in the dark tunnel, as though having somewhere to go is soothing.

Canetor goes back after realizing there're still parts to be explored and goes west. He actually likes exploring, but he doesn't let his guard down, looking for traps.

| Audi ibn Jad |
Audi looks cross-eyed at the captured cultist.
You got stuffing in yer ears? What does she look like?
After the interviewing process runs its course, the gnoll walks along with the front of the group.
Here's hoping for some more fun!
| Daniel Penfold 351 |
"All I can tell you is that she is human, I don't know what she looks like as she always wore a gold mask."
Cracked ceramic tiles cover the walls and columns in this expansive chamber. In the centre of the room, iron posts connected by chains delineate several smaller subsections, each crowded with boxes, crates, urns and sarcophagi. The stink of soot and the leathery smell of death hangs heavy in the air. You do not see anything else in the room

Very inconspicuous Stealth roll...
Canetor comments "Well, this is a deposit of some kind?" He takes a look in some of the boxes, trying to get a feel of what is being stored. He feels like a tomb raider, even though this is clearly not a tomb.
| Vernon Tauls |
Vernon walks in, ready for another melee. Seeing the crates and stuff he scowls at the prisoner. "More of your stolen property? The temple, and the legitimate owners of this stuff will be very interested!"
Or should we stash him where in the hole where Ptemnib was stashed? Tied up he shouldn't be able to climb out.

Canetor holds his bow, but doesn't do anything aggressive. He comments "Careful, this is a creature that eats organs of dead people, but they can be aggressive. Try not to provoke it. If it does attack, it is vulnerable to a cleric's channeled energy."
| Audi ibn Jad |
Audi smiles at Canetor.
Undead, perhaps? Well, let's just see about that!
The Warpriest then recites some words to Pharasma.
Death Blessing
He then walks about the chamber toward the creature.

Vernon glances at Audi as he advances on the closest mass of viscera, "Looks like the guts of some of the creeps I've killed. Guess they need to be killed again, like too much of the crap around here!" He advances on the closest one and slashes it with his chain. "Destroy them as a kindness to reality!"

The Tekenu do not respond to your attempts to talk to them.
Vernon in addition to what had already been said you know that they are essentially like a swarm and are not subject to criticals, flanking or any spell or effect that targets specific creatures.
Vernon deals the creature closest to him a mighty blow, not all of the damage gets through though
You can all have a surprise round action
