Hi team, you cannot see beyond 30 ft so please move your icons as otherwise I cannot give you further information. Peridot, I do not see you on the map at all so please position yourself first and then take actions.
Athum now also sees the undead! These humanoid creatures have long, sharp teeth, and their pallid flesh is stretched tightly over their starved frame.
@Athum, these are: HORDE OF GHASTS, CE Medium undead (no resistances but Defensive Abilities: channel resistance +2, troop traits, undead traits, no further weaknesses.
@Agate, I will reveal more based on your roll as soon as you see the undead. Can you specify what you wish to know exactly please.

Ahn taps himself with his wand of expeditious retreat... and moves forward, staying close to agate.

As the undead began to erupt from the sand, Tahonikepsu, The Diamond Sage, transforms into her dragon self.
Round 2
She then swoops over them raising well above the troops and then settling down at 30 feet in the air to stay above their reach, while belching forth a hell-fire of electricity!
Target ALL Troops with 50-foot cone (at 30 feet up, pythagorous gives her 40ft horizontally.
35 electricity damage, Reflex DC 24 half (Next Breath Weapon in 3 Rounds)
Do we get these bonuses from the sage on our checks right now? +3 bonus on Diplomacy and Perception checks +2 bonus on Knowledge (arcana, history, planes, religion) checks
Please post tactics/ideas for the Diamond Sage's next round in the Discussion tab...
~Frost~ |
Frost rides forth on Ragnar and joins the wall at the front.
"Let them come I suppose"
GM Nowruz |
Yes, you get the bonuses on your skill checks automatically because you chose Tahonikepsu.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Tahonikepsu, the time dragon, flies over the troops and the bodies of the undead are all electrified by her odem. She shouts to you, "Pathfinders, I do not know what this structure is capable of but I can sense its necromantic power!"

Sorry guys. My friday was gross
Seeing the advancing zombie hordes, and the writhing hands from the ground, Ischell reaches into his pouch and pulls out a glimmering bottle of light purple liquid. It sloshes around as he pours it into his mouth.
Potion of enlarge person. Will be large at begining of next round
Throwing the bottle aside, he focuses on the undead hordes infront of him- steeling himself against their inevitable advance.

You all see that the arcane runes that cover the basalt monolith start to glow. The monolith suddenly emits waves of negative energy!
Negative energy healing the dead and harming the living: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 1) = 16
Tahonikepsu cries out, "Arghh!"

When the undead approach two hordes cannot escape Ischell's attacks although the first attack misses!
The hordes of ghasts swarms over your bodies, ravenously biting and clawing! You feel their claws and bites all over your bodies!!
Because of the chaos of combat, spellcasting or concentrating on spells within the area of a troop or within its reach requires a successful caster level check (DC = 20 + spell level). Using skills that involve patience and concentration requires a successful DC 20 Will save.
Horde of ghasts green claw and bite damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Just curious, did it take all 3 shots to drop it? Or did the third strike go to red? I am doing meta-math to try and figure out about how many HP they have.
Agate |

If there's another blast of negative energy before Agate can be healed, she has a boon that will let her temporarily treat negative as positive energy. I can get the exact wording when I'm home again in a few hours.

GM Nowruz |
You were not in range of the negative energy! Ahn, I would have loved to allow LoH but it seems like consensus on the web is that a Paladin needs to really touch himself which is impossible when paralysed.
Ahn is paralysed from the undead’s disgusting teeth and claws!

After gathering everyone up she gently throws a bomb at Ahn which release a gentle mist of healing.

Tahonikepsu asks you to step on her wings and she waits until the monolith again starts buzzing!
Immediately after that she walks over to the monolith and it is obvious that the grabbing hands can’t hold her.
Anybody willing is now at the monolith.
Arcane runes cover the basalt monolith.
As you know it emits waves of negative energy periodically.

Athum, Ahn and Peridot keep trying at the monolith after the chaos of the battle and the ever changing runes make it difficult to concentrate ... but they succeed!
As the monolith collapses the sands suddenly fall still, the skeletal hands recede back into the earth and the last remnants of the hordes of ghasts turn to dust.
The other sages return, bearing some marks of battle but largely unharmed.
"Is everyone alright?" They ask as the group looks worse.
Tahonikepsu grips her Diamond Sage Jewel.
"Tahari wants to drive us away from here. We must be close."

I'm just throwing that out there.
