Hey guys, travelling home today.
Will be out of contact for about 24 hours.
How difficult (or is it even possible) for Annea to move around the trap and/or jump over it?
Hey guys, I'm headed off to AVL Scarefest tomorrow and won't be back until Monday. While my time isn't booked solid I have no idea what the internet situation will be so my posting here may be slow or nonexistent until I return.
(I wanted to try and make one round of updates tonight but noooooo, internet is not being cooperative and my patience is limited.)
So, please feel free to bot or delay Soddy as necessary, if necessary! Right now the plan is keep flying Gervase Airlines and pelting the bad guys with seedpods :)
Gervase, can you help me understand your air assault configuration? You're using a bow with both both hands. Just need to know what Soddy Daisy's holding onto. The rope, your knickers, what exactly?
I like the image of her holding onto a fistful of your petticoat while slinging seeds with the other hand, but that's just me.
Naturally Gervase is not wearing a saddle. But I imagine Soddy is clinging to her back with a rope around Gervase’s middle that the leshy can hold onto with one hand-frond.
Kinda like bull + rider in >>this photo*®<<
* Note: the bull (if it was flying) has both forelimbs free to work a bow
® Note: Boom Sticks as the bull fighting clown in the foreground
* But note: Gervase’s hair isn’t long enough for Soddy to hold onto, so the rope 'for one hand-frond' remains present.
Checking in; thanks for the bot Gervase! We can do it, guys! :D
If you have a Day Job, and you haven't yet rolled it for Chapter 2, please do so. If there's anything you'd like me note on your Chronicles please let me know.
It looks like the PCs' admin info on Slide 2, hasn't been updated since we started Chapter 1. Please take a moment and do so, focusing on Day Job rolls and PC Level.
Your PC cannot be higher than level 3 to participate in Chapter 3. That said, anybody slow-tracking this time?
Gervase is slow-tracking this chapter, thanks GM Lorenzo.
Day Job, Take 10 Profession (sailor): 10 + 5 = 15 => 10 gp
Gervase's details on Slide 2 are correct.
Boom Sticks will slow track both part 2 and part 3.
Also please note on my part 2 chronicle that an Expedition Manager boon has been completed, returning a masterwork pepperbox pistol.
day job, craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
I'm back from beautiful Montreat, NC!
(Technically I got back late Sunday night but I had other stuff come up that kept me busy most of yesterday.)
Had fun at the convention but it has been SO nice to sleep in my own bed again :)
Soddy will be slow-tracking Part 2 & Part 3.
Day Job - Profession: Herbalist: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
And I think I've got all the information updated on Slide #2.
This might go a little beyond my needed post- so when Gervase get Annea and lifts her into the air (on her movement) Annea can then have her drop her and she can feather fall to the ground since it is a spell she can cast at will. That might save use some time and help save the two leaf-peoples.
I took the liberty of moving Gervase and Annea to a spot where she could cover everyone in her channel while healing as few of the goblins as possible.
Annea's inches above the roof of the shack and doesn't need to expend a spell to let go of the rope and stand on the roof.
GM Lorenzo, I believe getting Annea to that position on the map would be a double-fly on Gervase’s Round 5 (current) turn.
Let me know if I am mistaken.
No, you're right. I got to her last round.
I just thought ascending 20' into the air (over the wall) at half-speed at 45 degrees with Annea aboard would take a double-move at Gervase's 20' movement speed.
If you're using a Fly potion and you're heavily laden I believe your fly speed is 40; it's 60 with a light load.
ETA: or are you already halving speed because you're ascending?

When that doggie bit me I had 7 hps left. It did 4 damage with its normal damage and 6 when it confirmed its crit. So after I bled out I should have been at -4.
That crit threat on the reroll was awesome though!
It's seemed like that's been the running theme for this part of the module. Not being able to get a break on d20 rolls, and when I actually manage to land an attack, I roll the bare minimum on damage.
I finally just got tired of missing the dog and said, let's do a reroll and it worked out. Felt like I got a little bit of a temporary shot in the arm. However, I've managed to roll what I've needed on my last two saves.
There is definitely something ... providential? about Bellisir.
It's like the situation/dice gods position him to be ... not a tank, maybe a road block? to confound/divide an enemy unit, so the rest of us can pound on what’s left.
While it’s gotta be frustrating for RowynStarr, it makes you an invaluable part of the group! ;)
I'm working on the Chronicles, and I ought to finish them today. I'll post the link here in the Discussion thread.
For Day Jobs, I'm using the PC information you entered on Slide 2, which should be up-to-date.
I just took a look though, and some of the info is still outdated. For example, Annea, Bellisir, and Quinn still indicate they're level 1, though they've been level 2 throughout this chapter.
From your responses to my question about advancement, I see that Soddy Daisy, Gervase and Boom Sticks are slow-tracking and Bellisir is using the normal track.
I'm still waiting to hear from Annea and Quinn. I can prep their Chronicles as soon as I hear from them.
GM, could you add a note to my chronicle please indicating the completion of an Expedition Manager boon, returning a masterwork pepperbox.
My chronicle looks good; thank you!
Mine too, but I have a question.
I have just wrapped up a game I have run and I want to eventually apply that GM Chronicle to Gervase.
Is Gervase considered to be “locked up in Gallows of Madness” until Part 3 is done (my preference), or do I have to apply the GM Chronicle immediately after Part 2?
(Either way, she won’t level beyond 3, so that issue is irrelevant)

I think that you're technically supposed to apply them in the order that they're earned, excepting cases where you're holding a chronicle until a character can level up enough to have it applied....but since it's already known that you've committed Gervase to all three parts of Gallows then I don't see why you couldn't apply the GM chronicle immediately after she finishes Part 3?
All that said, I'll try and check the Guild Guide in a bit for a more 'official' answer.

If the tier of the session you GM'ed extends beyond where we are, for example, a tier 1-5 scenario, assign it to Gervase in subtier 4-5. Anything above that isn't a problem anyway, because you'd have to wait to apply it.
Worst case, just assign the credit to another PC in your stable of PFS characters. The venture-officer who reported the session can edit the reported session's details to reflect the change.
Quinn, your Chronicle's drafted and uploaded. Didn't want to delay any longer, so I went with the info I had.
If there's anything you need corrected, let me know.
Everyone, please make sure all of your PC's info is updated on Slide 2. Levels are still outdated for at least three of you. Other info might need updating, too.
I'll try to get my info updated as soon as I can. Same goes for leveling up my character, but it's looking like it will be at least tomorrow morning before I get the chance to get my leveling up done. Had the odd happenstance of having this character, my character in Lady Ladile's TR:DL campaign, and my Starfinder Society character I was playing in a Gameday VIII event all finishing (and leveling) at the same time. Along with my rogue in my F2F Emerald Spire campaign my lodge is doing once a month, I've got a lot of leveling up to do and changes to make both on physical character sheets and the ones here on the forums.
Ok. My slide information should be updated. Also, Bellisir's online character sheet has been updated, too. This last part of the chapter should be an interesting one with both the level up and his first class archetype ability kicking in.
There are a couple of items I'm going to buy and one item I'd like to buy pending some OOC research and if it's available either with prestige or gold, but I'll work that into the next part if there will be time for us to go shopping once the group knows where they're going next.
I reported our session to Paizo, and I'll kick things off for the final chapter.
You can note purchases in the Gameplay thread, RPing if you'd like, some shopping at one or more of the following locations:
Pricknettle’s Potions and Poultices
Temple of Erastil
Gunty’s Hearty Breads
Saringallow’s Sundries (which I don't think you've yet visited)
Soddy's sheet has been updated with her gold and such; will try and figure out any shopping I want to do within the next day or two.
Check HeroLab when you get home in the morning re:
Chain Shirt/Mithral Chain Shirt
Cloak of Resistance
Okay, Soddy will make the following purchases (assuming Saringallow is big enough) before we set out anywhere:
Mithral Chain Shirt - 1,100gp
Cloak of Resistance + 1 - 1,000gp
Boro Bead (1st Level) - 1,000gp
Total Spent: 3,100 gp
Funds Remaining: 526 gp
