This Tagline Template offers a basic setup for your own PC's PbP tagline, providing vital information at a glance. Please, modify/adapt it to your own PC's crucial needs.

Please ensure you have an updated stat block associated with your PC and any companions or familiars.
For those using Hero Lab, it's quite simple.
Under the "File" tab, select "Output Hero Statblock." In the pop-up menu, select the "BBCode" tab and click on the "Copy" button.
In your PC's Paizo profile, click on the "Edit My Profile" button. Then paste it into the "About [Your PC's Name]" block near the bottom of the page.

When you're ready, use this thread to introduce your PC to the GM and to the party. Once we've settled on the PCs in the party, you can make an in-character introduction in the Gameplay thread.

Some Basic Rules of Engagement (ROE):
OOC Text: When mistakes are made or clarifications are necessary, just let us know in the Discussion thread. Let's keep the ooc text in the Gameplay thread to a minimum.
Conditions/Effects: Regarding penalties or bonuses/buffs/debuffs from conditions/effects, please, players, indicate any bonuses/penalties to attacks, damage, etc separately--to remind the GM and other players.
For example, [dice=Attack, Power Attack, Inspire Courage, Fatigued]d20-1+1-2; d8+2+1-2[/ dice].
Animal Companion/Mount/Familiar/Eidolon: Please create a separate alias for it, especially if it will act on its own. Also indicate its Perception and Initiative modifier, as well as your own, on Slide 2.
Initiative: Animal Companions/Mounts/Familiars/Eidolons will have their own Initiative results, unless the PC is mounted on the creature. They can act independently or you can opt to have you and your companion act at the same time on the lower of the two Initiative results. The one with the higher result will be considered delayed, but not flat-footed. (If mounted, the mount acts on the PC's initiative.)
Miss Chance: I prefer to roll miss chances as the GM; if you roll it, please use a d100, where a "miss" is less than or equal to the percentage chance.

I think the only person I don't know is our GM, but I'm Rowyn Starr, Lady L's brother and I'm checking in.

I've got a Ki Mystic monk that I'd initially made for another module PbP, but things didn't work out and so I'll be playing him for this module PbP.

I think the only thing to do is to polish up his backstory a bit and I'll be good to go. Of course, feel free to look over my profile and make sure I'm not making any goofs, but I feel he's good statwise.

And ditto on the dates that Lady L posted as they will affect me, too.

Annea Clivana is a Varisian Witch hailing from the woodlands of Ustalov (northeastern Shutterwoods). There Annea learned the lore of the forest, herbalism and spellcraft from a coven of druids and nature-orientated witches. Believing in the primacy of the four elements, as aspects of nature, Annea was drawn towards the raw power offered by a yet unknown elemental patron(s). She has charged herself with the protection of natural world from the deprivations of extra-planer entities and the undead.

Quinn is an adaptive shifter, who is running away from his parents and at least initially is using the pathfinders to see the world and expand his mind. He is an angry young man, but has no trouble following the guidance of older more mature party members.

I create an alias for my familiar/companion and make separate posts for them, when the spirit moves me.

Whenever Tyndyn is acting independently, like attacking, delivering a touch spell or flying reconnaissance, aseparate, individual post is helpful for the GM and the other members of the team to visualize the action in their minds.

Rule of Two

Painlord's PbP Rule of Two wrote:

Yep. I've run this before (it's actually my favorite module) and I'm basically acting like I don't know anything. If a key decision were to come up where I knew what each outcome would result in, I would hang back and let the others choose.

Sorry about not keeping up with posting as well as the others. I had no time for posting anything yesterday, and this game looks like it's going to be the most active of the three games I'm in as far as gameplay post activity.

I also come back and there are a bunch of posts. I will be more active, and mostly just play the character and make checks after others have made it, before results are given. Its also my first time replaying something on PbB, so just a bit new to me. Usually the go-getter since I am on Paizo every morning at work.

Hee! Witches are fun and flexible enough with their hexes that it makes up (imo) for them being prepared casters.

(I've grown to really dislike playing prepared casters. Spontaneous casting or bust because I'm lazy and don't feel like trying to juggle spells every dingdang day!)

My two witches in active play (one PFS, one not) are very fun to play :)

I have three vine leshies (why no, I don't have a problem at all) and Soddy is probably the uh...least 'human-like' in terms of how she generally behaves and reacts to the world around her.

Willow Grove is the most 'human-like' of my vine leshies, if a bit hyper, while Calamitous Zu is somewhere between the two.

I am having a blast playing this character! When I get stuck on how to play Annea... I just channel my 17 old daughter and it seems to work at as I had envisioned the character the whole time!

I just wanted to ask if we are going to have a short period of time after this portion of the module to re-skin our characters before officially applying their level 2 advances? I know I want to make a couple of small tweaks to Annea before locking everything in at level 2.

Absolutely, Annea. Level-1 PCs can make all the usual changes before advancing to Level-2.

Significant changes might be catalysts for some roleplaying to explain the changes to the rest of the team.

Howdy All!

Thought I’d better introduce myself in Discussion as well.

Thank-you for the invitation, GM Lorenzo. I have met our GM IRL and PbP with him and Lady Ladile in another PFS game on these boards.

I live in a town fairly isolated from TTRPG, and PbP is my main outlet. I have been gaming via this medium since late 2012. I love in-depth character exploration and tactical combat.

As for Gervase, mechanically she is a simple switch-hitter ranger. At level 2.1, she is currently more effective in melee and her go-to tactic is ‘power attack with a longspear.’

Personality-wise, she is something of a ‘nice girl’ without being sickly sweet. As an only child brought up by a single-parent, she prides herself on being resourceful and organized. She does have a fairly wide streak of mischief and loves a joke.

I look forward to getting to know you all and contributing to the fun!
