Duncan sights in on Captain Kvaran and looses a pair of arrows at him from the back lines, one arrow snags in his armor, but the other punches through!

Frustrated by his magic's failure, and disregarding the arrow in his side, Kvaran decides to take a more prosaic approach and hurtles towards Marianna, axe in hands!

Winces from the blow delivered to him, Juis responds in kindly, swinging his mace at the sailor that struck him.

The Ulfen raiders continue their bloody work, smashing Juis from his feet and driving Marianna and Lebraerio relentlessly back!

Didn't look like Leb actually moved on the map, so I did some scooching to make sure both flanks still worked in chronological order.

Lebraerio and Declan break through the guard of their respective foes, leaving both of them badly wounded, but still fighting on.

The unwounded sailor chases after Duncan, trying to stop his barrage of arrows, while the other two lash out to get revenge, but the nimble swordsmen parry their axes!

Backed into a corner, Duncan vaults backwards over Declan's head, coming up in a crouch to launch another arrow into his clearest shot, sinking it feathers-deep in the raider's chest, but despite the rattling in her breath, the sailor continues to fight on!

1 foe down, 3 to go, Marianna mentally notes as the first opponent falls. With a look of regret toward Wilen at her feet, she decides to press the advantage on the other weakened foe. "Now, Right Thigh!" she cries out again, still harrying this foe.

Duncan's first arrow takes one of the sailors in the throat before launching another one just beneath the rim of the other raider's shield!

(I'm assuming Leb's going after Captain Kvaran and will adjust his positioning to do so (and assume he 5-footed and studied, though sadly without a flanking partner with Precise Strike that damage won't count)

The raider throws off Declan's enchantments, but is dazzled enough by the spray of colors to miss her return swing against him!

Duncan, worrying that a long fight might be in store, spends an extra moment studying their leader for weaknesses before driving another arrow through his armor. It's just enough to put the raving axe-wielding lunatic off balance, and Lebraerio ducks back out of the sweep of his blade!

Afraid not. I had a one of the enemies on my butt the whole time. Couldn't heal anyone before getting smacked hard.

With their martial opponents down, Declan rushes over to Juis and uses a Wand of Cure Light Wounds on him.

Once Juis is awake, he'll offer the wand to him to heal all of them.

Juis slowly open his eyes, spying Declan. "Since I'm seeing you, we must of won."

He slowly gets up, looks at the wand offered him and takes it before going around healing people.

After healing everyone, Juis hands the wand back. "Thanks for the use of your wand."

Upon getting up, Marianna looks visibly annoyed by the whole debacle. "See if any of these raiders are still alive," she half-barks as she stalks toward the boat herself. After a moment, she turns back to the others."My apologies, my friends, but this has me very angry, and I'm sure that the good commander will want to hear all about this plot from them." Returning to the boat, she glares at Michellia, before going to unwrap the bundle that the Ulfens put in the boat.

Phew! When you're body goes from on-the-brink to perfect, tip-top condition just like that it sort of feels like you drank a tankard of a bad, dank, batch of ale!.

He gets up and dusts himself off.

All the same, my thanks to you. So... yeah wow, we've got to report this development as soon as possible.

He follow's Marianna's command, prodding at the raiders' bodies with his foot to see if any respond. To the one who took him out so quickly, he gives a hefty kick to the gut, almost hoping he's still barely alive to feel it...

Juis heads to the boat and looks at Michellia before sighing. "I think it is time for you to tell us what this was all about."

Michellia is visibly distressed by the sheer violence of your protracted battle, and only comes to herself as Marianna approaches. "Wait - no, you don't need to see what's in tha-!"

The wrappings come undone, revealing a beautiful young woman in a simple shift with a nasty bruise on her temple - and she's the spitting image of Michellia herself!

"Keep them here. I'll go get help." Declan leaves his healing wand as he rushes off to find Michellia's parents.

Marianna scowls in irritation at finding Michellia's twin. "What in the Inheritor's name is goi---," Marianna begins before cutting herself off, "No, I'm not sure I care. I'm just handing this to the people who know what to do."

As Declan heads off, she speaks up. "Wait! Get Commander Rubaani first, and explain this to her, and let her be the one to bring Lady Hamaria into this."

Wilen watches the double closely to see if she's going to run. He readies his bomb reagents...
