Sorry for slowing us down. Looks like Ploog and I are kindred spirits. In that case..

Kelumur quickly closes in on Ploog and attempts the same dirty tactic that the human attempted on his ally.

Greater Dirty Trick to Blind, flank: 1d20 + 21 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 21 + 4 = 35

Whenever you successfully perform a dirty trick, the penalty lasts for 1d4 rounds, plus 1 round for every 5 by which your attack exceeds the target’s CMD. In addition, removing the condition requires the target to spend a standard action.

Takahiro advances on Ploog and punches the orc in the face. A trickle of blood signals the monk was effective with his attack!

Kiboko kills one of the remaining orcs making his head literally explode as his greatsword impacts with the guard's skull. Unfortunately he then missess the other guard, twice!

Mvumbu tries to bite on Ploog instead... but she also fails miserably to connect with the orc slaver.

Zeno, having no magical means to get back sooner to the fight, keeps climbing up the stairs. Luckily enough he meets no opposition. It seems like it's a quiet day at the arena and most of the guards and gladiators are not posted here... a lucky coincidence indeed!

Stealing a page from Ploog's book of dirty tricks Kelumur throws the sand he was saving for such an occasion into Ploog's eyes blinding the orc despite him being well prepared for such an eventuality... "Ouch! That was a low blow! I thought you pathfinders had more class than THIS!" Ploog screams...

Considering how his odds have suddenly become terrible the green clad guard retreats away from the fight and runs away!

With one mighty swing of Kiboko's greatsword Ploog's head comes away from the rest of his body which flops lifeless on the floor.

Takahiro calls the last guard who keeps running down the stairs. The orc is surprised to meet Zeno on the stairs but it doesn't last long as the elf places a couple of arrows through his head, cutting his flight short.

As everything falls silent in the office and beyond the pathfinders free the enslaved guide, Gulros, but at the same time start considering how killing the arena's owner could possibly spell trouble for them. Luckily that's not the case.

Respectful of the reputation the pathfinders gained by capturing a mighty bulette no one gives the Pathfinders any trouble as they leave the city, and Ploog's death only seems to increase their fame and acclaim.

Upon reuniting with the other Pathfinders at the agreed rendezvous point, Venture-Captain Sir Canayven Heidmarch listens to their report, courteously greets Gulros, and motions to several ponies with fully laden pack saddles behind him before explaining that he has secured enough supplies for an overland trip to Urgir and that the PCs will be among the first Pathfinders ever to set foot in the Sky Citadel of Koldukar.

Well done everyone. You completed the scenario and we only have one more to complete the trilogy. I'll try to get your CS completed before monday, and we also need to figure out how to dela with Shardra

Venture-Captain Canayven Heidmarch is waiting in the foothills of the Mindspin Mountains, just outside of Urglin. Gripping the leads on a trio of laden pack animals, he nods in greeting, then begins. "Pathfinders, in light of recent discoveries in the ore city of Urglin, we now have enough information available to send a team into Koldukar. It's been a long several weeks, so let me bring you up to speed. Pathfinder agents recently entered Janderhoff and found a damaged stone stele marked with the names of the other five known Sky Citadels, the fortress cities of the dwarves. The rune for Koldukar glowed when we spoke its name, and we suspect an even more complete stele resides in that city. Getting in would be rather difficult," he admits with a grim face, "but it seems that Gulros knows the way."

With that, Heidmarch motions to a lean ore who nods his acknowledgement. "I have had some time to speak with Gulros, and I believe him trustworthy. Do not abuse that trust, and do not abuse him. He owes us a favor, but you will be at his mercy if he feels betrayed. Follow him to a series of caverns to the west of the ore city of Urgir, and there he will direct you through a tunnel that leads directly to subterranean Koldukar. From there, navigate the Sky Citadel and find your way to the stele. If it is still intact and functional, activate it and see what else you can learn of dwarven history. I suspect that you will also be able to use the stone to signal Janderhoff. I will be there awaiting that signal, at which point I'll coordinate your extraction from hostile territory. These animals have all the supplies to see you to Urgir and back; if you find anything missing, hurry to Urglin and acquire it. You're heading into a ruin that predates the common language, so make sure that ruin that somebody has the means to speak and understand Dwarven. Any questions?"

You might ask any question you believe will help you do your job. You might also take 2 different Knowledge (history) checks, one on the subject of Koldukar the other one on the Dwarven Stele

"Thank you for having me! I'll do my best not to disappoint... "

Wearing full plate, weathered and dull, covered partially in a grey hooded greatcoat with crimson lining, a gnome travels with the party. Carrying a pack, greatsword, and bow the gnome has been hustling to keep up with the larger folk. The etched symbol of a sword crossing a feathered wing is evident on his breastplate and on a symbol hanging from his neck.

To the Venture Captain, "Is there any information, map perhaps, detailing how to get to the Stele once in citadel? Or how to activate and use the device when found?"

"I speak many languages... they're a speciality of mine, but alas, more unusual languages... not Dwarven. Does anyone else speak Dwarven... or should we obtain magical means, should anything untoward happen to Kiboko?"

Ahn will purchase a potion of fly. He places it in a spring loaded wrist sheath, a wand of expeditious retreat in the other.

Venture-Captain Canayven Heidmarch answers Kiboko's questions first:Koldukar is the original dwarven name of the orc city known as Urgir. It was conquered long ago by the orcs and its fall signaled the end beginning of the end for the empire of the dwarves. And unfortunately yes, violence is a distinct possibility I fear. I pray this does not happen but we cannot be certain the orcs will be friendly with you. We do not have the time or the resources to gain the patronage of one of the orc clans. Furthermore, I believe that if we go through this process , it would tip off our enemies to our mission. Deal with any orcs as best you see fit-but remember that you'll be outnumbered in enemy territory."

Then the Venture-Captain looks at Ahnastasios and smiles:"Ah! Yes. Sorry for not mentioning it before but your friend Shardra was needed elsewhere so Ahnastasios here was sent to replace her. I'm told he's an expert with healing and smiting evil. Useful abilities to have where you are going. And to answer Ahnastasios' question: no map I'm afraid. You'll have to rely on Gulros expertise to navigate Urgir's underground. As for activation you shall see when you find the stele but I suspect the activation method to be similar to the one performed on the Janderhoff stele"

After hearing Kelumur's question he shakes his head and nods politely at Kiboko:"What agent Kiboko said" he mutters.

Zeno has been brooding in the corner. He seems...different, somehow. Everything about him, every little characteristic you have come to associate with him, just seems that much more *pronounced*, now.

He shares what he knows.

"...I wish I knew more. I'm afraid I'm not fluent in Dwarven, myself, though I have ways to make do. Silly me, here I'd just been busy brushing up on my Orcish," Zeno adds, ever the demigod of the deadpan.

About Koldukar Zeno knows that...:
The dwarves built Koldukar upon completing their Quest for the Sky more than 9 ,000 years ago. The site is now the capital city of the ores, a place they call Urgir, meaning "first home."

About the dwarven stele Zeno knows that...:
These steles are more than just maps; they are carved from the same type of stone and radiate an aura of divination magic. It is said they can speak , but what other powers these steles hold is either a secret guarded by dwarves or lost to time.

"Do you have more questions? Otherwise I suggest you be on your way..." Venture-Captain Canayven Heidmarch says.

Gulros finishes answering to Kiboko's questions then he nods to Kulumur "You are welcome" he plainly states.

Meanwhile Zeno casts a spell and Ahnastasios chats with Quiella about the respective healing strategies.

As you realize there's nothing more to be said to Gulros you depart down the stony passage and enter the bowels of the earth. You study your surroundings and immediately realize a few things: there's going to be no natural lighting down here, but aside from that you are able to determine that the passage is natural and varies between 5 and 15 feet in width, with a ceiling that averages 10 feet in height. After 10 minutes you allready miss the unrelenting sun tormenting the wasteland above...
