Meanwhile, back in the cargo bay, as the lead element of the Starfinders arrives at the cargo bays, they are surprised to see strange gremlin-like creatures running riot - they certainly do NOT look friendly!

He rears back his fist once more and tries to pummel the miscreant grinning as it's made the mistake of leaving Charlie room to maneuver Charlies first moves back before taking a running start to smash into his target with more momentum

That was certainly unexpected! For future reference (ie. upcoming turn), would Engineering or Life Science be appropriate skills to identify the creatures? Or would you prefer me to roll and then find out? More than happy to use either option.

So just a thing, but Rahdo's tactical pike has 10ft of reach, so would that attack have provoked an attack of opportunity? I'll post below the AOO just in case.

The creature's attack catches the green vesk off guard as he tries to recenter himself. "Hmph, not bad." he grumbles.

Utilizing the comm system, "Is there anything we can do to assist? Please keep us informed if you need aid." AMOSU begins checking the ships internal sensors to see if there are any similar anomalies in other portions of the ship.

Rahdo took a swing as the creature backpedalled, but the blow went wide...the backswing, on the other hand, was right on point thudding into the creature with a bone-cracking whump sending its corpse into the bulkhead.

Harrying Fire:

You can use your standard action to make a ranged attack that distracts a foe in your line of effect. Make an attack roll against AC 15. Does anyone know if touch spells are discharged when you miss? I assume yes but didn't see anything explicitly addressing it when I looked the other day.

AMOSU looks perplexed, "Agreed Ella, though I'm unsure of how we can do so effectively. If the team were appropriately secured we could open the cargo bay... Rahdo flops around like a fish out of water, but then realises he is not a fish but a giant evolved lizard. He soldier crawls out of the goop. "That, was all planned..."

AMOSU turns to Ella, "Perhaps we should try to provide further, and more direct assistance. I also believe it would be unwise to leave the Guardian unattended. One of us could move to the cargo area. My combat capabilities are limited and have proven mildly effective in the past," glancing over its shoulder at the dignitary, "and I fear my diplomatic skills are not much better." AMOSU stares unblinking at Ella as she offers any suggestions.

Getting up once more Charlie tries a different approach of getting of the slippery floor and instead of taking steps uses the approach of just sliding his feet forward without actually taking them op the floor thereby keeping a greater sense of balance. After one last push he slides out of the greased area and uses the extra momentum to slide next to one of the enemies
