From Tathane's location he watches the black, wiry tentacles erupt from the floor. "Not going that way!" he says to himself. Noticing a window, he moves swiftly to it and looks out. He can see a window to another room on another wall. Maybe he could climb over to that.

Can I climb out the west window in my current room then jump to the other window and climb in? What sort of checks?


Frozen Flame + Dragon's Demand

Tathane, you can make that jump easily, if you get a running start. (Without one, it's a DC 20 jump.) Do you want to crash through the windows or take the time to open the one in the room you are in? You can also climb over; DC 20 I'd say, based on the condition of the wall.

Many people struggle against the black tentacles, Aryas quietly digs through his bag for oils. Branson is *bamphed* over next to the enemy.

is this not blink? Blink only gives a 20% miss chance. Perhaps it is displacement which gives a 50% miss chance. Otherwise the third hit landed I think.

Clarity cuts deep into the creature, and the tentacled menace visibly grimaces as the sword cuts it. Hekk's claw hits the creature and, though its damage is somewhat reduced, Leopold's stare boosts it.
