Okay it took me a bit to refresh myself with how my character works now that Elliot has Expert AI and I have new guns for both Tiktik and Elliot. So Tiktik will move a little closer and fire an overcharged shot with his thunderstrike rifle at Red. Elliot will likewise hover closer and fire a shot at Red with his Caustolance.

Tiktik overcharged, long range: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 11 - 2 = 231d10 + 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + (6) + 7 = 17

I misunderstood the Shock fusion, so B-Bop's last shot doesn' actually hit.

Tiktik and Elliot's shots both slam into Red.

L isn't familiar with these creatures, but he thinks he has some insights into their character--they keep calling the Starfinders 'sky-demons', and are resolved to defend their home from you.

Out of combat. You almost certainly would have dropped a few more of them before they all got to get away if you would like to. What would you guys like to do?

if there is any small baseball sized debris nearby, I'd have Jax pick it up and throw it at the fleeing creatures. I wont even bother rolling an attack roll with all the negatives Jax would receive but if you'd like to Matt, go nuts lol. Not sure what the roll would even be lol. Improvised throwing weapon that's likely two times outside the first range increment... I doubt a crit would even hit lol

Jax's throw doesn't hit, but it does draw a little shriek of fear when it splats on the platform near one of the fleeing aliens.

There are several scorch marks on the platform here, likely from another ship taking off.

These scorch marks are less than a few days old. They indicate a ship with a dirty, poorly contained energy core, similar to the ones you have heard about the Cult of the Devourer using.

Several of the aliens dropped there weapons: 3 tactical battlebows, and 2 curious axes, constructed of scrap. Additionally, in their haste to flee one of the aliens dropped an instinctive stabilizer.

skirmish alien axes: 1d10 slashing damage, 2 bulk, analog, archaic. Cost is 2,000 credits.

So when they said demons... did they happen to be pointing at any specific fuzzy characters? I'm only assuming that the ones scaring the crap out of them could have possibly been considered to be the said demons. I may not know what they said, but I do understand fear and the one I yelled at looked like he'd died inside, ha ha ha.

Strange, though if they are unfamiliar with off worlders, why have a spaceport and a landing pad. There is a mystery here... Do you suppose they have a history with those from off world, but not a good one?

Tiktik doesn't see much of use on the landing pad.

A platform leads off towards the mainland, badly damaged by ages of neglect. A building stands at the edge of the platform, likely some sort of dock management or customs office.

The platforms are sturdy despite their age and disrepair, but it is still enormously uncomfortable walking across them, with the massive gas giant Nejeor VI spread out beneath you. You are close enough to see the layers of the planets atmosphere, with the whispy ammonia clouds over the striated bands of its base atmosphere.

For those unused to seeing such sights, it is both awe-inspiring and more than a little terrifying.

At the end of the platforms you set foot on the floating city proper.
Signs outside the building are written in an unknown script, but thanks to L's magic he can read them well enough.

"ISTAMAK DOCK MANAGEMENT"

The ancient building here looks to be in good enough repair to be safe to enter--indeed, it appears to have been occupied in the recent past. Simple graffiti is written on the walls--the characters are somewhat similar to the ones on the sign outside, but markedly different, and the languages they represent do not appear to be the same.

L spends 10 minute studying the writing:
The writing seems to describe the best practices for harvesting the algae that grows on the bottom of the landing pad. It includes a calendar, depicting the best times to harvest. It seem this is an important food source for the people that live here.

The building itself has little of interest. You get the feeling that a good deal of the interior has been stripped off, scavanged for other uses. Little remains--the bulkhead steel supports of the building, and a good deal of detritus--swarf from broken and cut steel, cloth, bones, and the like. A few simple sleeping pallets can be found here, but no one is occupying the building at present.

From outside, you can hear a commotion coming from the streets.

Well, seeing that the locals see us as demons, I feel that's going to be easier said than done. Especially since I now can't stop imagining Tiktik running around with a pitchfork and letting out maniacal laughter. We all know he'd get a kick out of that.

Our best option may be to be as stealthy as possible and remain unseen, try to avoid contact if possible. If that fails though there's always plan B. Jax grins from that last statement.

Looking out one of the many windows here, you see two groups of aliens fighting here. Both look very similar to the ones you saw on the landing pad, but you notice one group is wearing a prominent but crude symbol on their armor.

Mysticism DC 15:
This is the holy symbol of Talavet, the Kasathan goddess of community, self reliance, and tradition.

The group with the symbol on their armor seem to be prevailing, but one of the three aliens in that group seems badly wounded, although he still fights grimly on, firing a bow while his companions swing crude, makeshift axes.

The wounded alien falls to the ground. He looks gravely wounded, and may be dying.
