Even Vonash is cautious enough to remove anything that could be a weapon, a spell component pouch, etc.

Actually, about the only vaguely safe way to do that would be to strip them naked. So, absent objection, she'd do that and then cover their bodies with SOMETHING (are there any cloths or clothes around?)

Trying to do that would certainly wake up Agent Wells. A Stealth check could determine how much of his clothes you get off him before he wakes up.

I should note, because I forgot to pull it off the character sheet, the equipment I have listed is what Scera would be trying to obtain. Given this point in her timeline she has nothing but a rather scanty amount of revealing clothing and her slave collar on.

Brass would step back and just kind of look on he’s not a medical expert so he has no clue how “awake” they’ll be when they’re up. Though he would oppose stripping them completely naked, all of us against them is more than enough if something happens. But when the officer gets up and speaks he raises his rifle for a moment till he sees how affected he was by the stasis. He lowers his weapon at the temporal police comment.

So if you’re temporal police who is she? brass looks at the slave collar to see what is going on with it and if it’s active.

"I'm not sure yet. Her pod was emitting a wordless distress signal. We were sent to rescue her. We'd just gotten her escape pod into the cruiser when we received word of a prison break. We gave chase and ended up here. Not to be rude, but I need to find my partner and then catch this escapee."

"Ah, Temporal Police, excellent. We are here investigating a distress signal that turned out to be not quite so distressing. It sounds like Moreau got the best of you as well. Who is your partner?"

Brass thinks he can safely remove the collar. It looks like the battery has already been drained. By the red marks on the woman's neck around the collar, it looks like the draining of that battery could have been very painful. The marks look a few days old but bodies don't heal in stasis so it could have been from before she went into the escape pod.

In answer to Jade's question, Wells continues "My partner, Argos. We were preparing to board the stolen ship when the escapees ambushed us from behind. Are you saying Moreau has eluded you? The other prisoners are disposable, but I must be allowed to bring Moreau back to complete his sentence. His research is too important. It cannot be allowed to fall into enemy hands."

"No, no, we have him held. I am afraid that we have not seen your partner yet, though." She pauses, weighing the pros and cons of knowing too much about the future. "Moreau's research seems to be in genetics, not unlike my own. What is it he is doing for you? We have seen some of what he has done here and it is... I believe humans would use the term 'unsettling'."

We took care of the situation don’t worry, but what’s this about enemy hands?

Brass starts to shift focus walking to the girl in the pod to see if he can remove the collar and after wake the woman. Speaking as he starts to work on the collor.

Brass wakes Scera.

"Thank you, for taking care of the situation," says Wells steadily. "I will be happy to tell you all about the prisoner after he's in my custody. If you will return my weapons to me, I will take my prisoner."

When Vonash started to strip him, she at least managed to get his boots off. Within one, she found a palm-sized device that looks like it flashes. If she played with it, it made her feel woozy when it flashed briefly. He had no weapons and his pants were without a belt even though they were clearly designed to be held up by one.

"And, I must find Argos." Wells says more to himself than to you.

"Um, we don't know ANYTHING about you except that you CLAIM to work for the "temporal Police". Police CAN be agents of good, but they can also be agents of evil. Before you try and assert control of the situation, perhaps you'd be good enough to tell us something of yourself?"

She is DEFINITELY trying to detect thoughts on him. Will save DC 14 to resist.

Telepathically to the Lashunta

"Greetings. It is nice to meet one of my own. Tell me, where and when do you come from? Don't worry, we're not going to be hostile to you or hurt you unless you try and hurt us."

Wells contemplates Vonash's demand, "Very well. You have a right to know what's going on here and I'm going to need your help getting in contact with Zero Year HQ."

At this point, Vonash can verify he has thoughts.

Wells continues, "Dr. Moreau was arrested for performing a series of illegal augmentations on civilians. Such augmentations threaten the social order and are not allowed for non-military purposes. He was arrested, tried, found guilty, and sentenced. His sentence was purchased by Deepwell, a military contractor, which set him up with a laboratory so he could do it again, but this time, for the good guys."

"...where the hell is Argos? ..."

Vonash is now able to read his thoughts.

Wells thinks, "Kind of trapped here. Oh, well, it's not like it's going to hurt to tell them everything; I'll be wiping their memories in a few minutes anyhow ..."

Wells says, "There are wars being fought in the future, wars for the future, wars against things we still don't understand. A dark tower rises at the end of time and its shadow looms over us."

Vonash senses he means a literal tower, or at least, that's how he sees it, as a literal dark tower.

"In the time I'm from, the Tower is physically manifest only in seven geographic locations, and the void corruption is contained to them. Demons and aberrations and various evils try to get beyond the quarantine zones but we ... well, we try to keep them back ... I ...."

"... they don't need to know about mom! ..."

"Moreau's a part of our defence against the things that crawl from the void, a small part, but he's got time to serve and a part to play. Moreau and a bunch of his test subjects escaped from Deepwell in one of their research vessels and I gave chase. We managed to blow each other out of the Shuffle and ended up in this particular here-and-now."

"... Now, would you return my neural inhibitor so I can make you forget all that? ..."

"Now, would you return my boots so I can get my prisoner?"

"I thought you wanted your weapons, officer." Ueda's voice is calm, straightforward, and not at all trusting. As usual, he hasn't displayed any outward emotion during the conversation, but it's clear he's been as hesitant to trust Wells as anyone else. Now he fixes him with a silent, unblinking gaze. More than one thing about the officer, his story, and his behavior isn't sitting well with him.

"All evidence suggests that we not only have done your job for you, but are currently your only means of transportation back to your time of origin. I do not mean to suggest refusal to comply, but I hope you do not expect blind obedience to your word, on your word alone."

This is Ueda's own suspicion and distaste for authority figures coming out; if Vonash tells us about his device and thought process, so much the better, and he really doubles down on the blank stare.

As I'm practically screaming the thoughts you can pick them up without really trying Vonash.
Scera woke up with a start as Brass began to speak to her and work on the collar. What is this place, where am I? She tried frantically to remember what had happened to her, how she got here. I was in the ship, the Vesk bastard that killed them all was there...I tried to knock him out, take the ship... she shuddered at remembered horror as Brass worked on her collar, she didn't fight him as she recognized he was trying to take it off, I made it to the pod then...nothing.

Scera barely registered anything else going on beyond the fact that this man was trying to remove the collar and this other one was involved in some discussion. She then felt another mind touch hers and it surprised her as Vonash spoke to her telepathically. She looked around and spotted the other Lashunta and seemed to finally relax a little bit. She thought back in reply telepathically to Vonash, "I came from a small colony world, Norva two, we were attacked and slaughtered by Vesk pirates who took a number of us captive. I am the only one they didn't sacrifice to their god and became the plaything of their captain. As far as the year...I don't know...I think it was 326 AG by our calendar."

Wells, unaware of the telepathic conversations happening all around him turns on Ueda, "You're on a ship, from the future, marked 'Temporal Enforcement' and you doubt I'm a time-cop?

"...What an ass! He's even more uptight than in the holoflics ..."

" I would like my boots, my belt, and my weapons, please, and I would, kindly ask for your assistance in contacting HQ so they can send a crew to clean up this island and take the prisoners back to the future."

"... and, I'd like them NOW ..."

After taking the collar off brass steps back dropping the collar, Slave collars can be very uncomfortable, that should help very much, he then turns to the officer. What did these prisoners do surely they aren’t as guilty as Moreau. And if you’re temporal enforcement then you know of us and by my train of thought we outrank you due to seniority. brass says this fixing his gaze on Wells using his armor and weapons to try and intimidate the unarmed man.

brass is getting slightly frustrated with the way he’s talking down on us almost, and the fact he represents authority doesn’t help either.

He's most definitely talking down to you. His physical demeanor is that of a stuffed shirt, an overbearing man who invades your personal space. He points while he talks.

Agent Wells visibly bristles at Brass's implication Wells might not be Temporal Enforcement or that Brass might outrank him. "I recognized you the minute you walked in. I don't have time for holoflics myself, but I'm aware of your ... reputations."

"...such as they are... "

"Very well, it's your arrest. You will decide how we proceed."

"...until I find my belt..."

"As for the others, I accessed their files while we were chasing them. These are some of Moreau's demonstration subjects who aided his escape."

"...whose DNA can't be allowed to fall into the wrong hands..."

"Jann Tarlene is a simple thief and the military has no real need of women who look like cats, but her retractable claws are interesting. Mr. Griffin's thermoregulated light-refractive hide is genius, but Mr. Griffin himself is a thug and a hacker. I don't see the military value of what Moreau did to Barry Bernstein, the prisoner he nicknamed Project Ursus, but we've been ordered to bring Moreau and the three of them back."

"...or make sure nothing remains of them..."'

After a pause Agent Wells looks squarely at Brass and asks, "What next, chief?" A DC 8 Sense Motive check would detect sarcasm.

"Watch out! Don't give him his boots! Or his belt! If he even twitches, SHOOT him. He has some thingamagig that will wipe our memories!!"

For the first time ever, she draws her pistol and puts it right under Wells chin

Out loud
"Freeze or I use this. Don't even twitch!"

So, looks like Paizo's "Upgrade" nuked bunches of pictures. Sigh

"...I..." says Agent Wells before closing his mouth again.

Vonash's ability to read his mind has ceased, but this is because the spell is limited in duration, not anything Wells has done.

Vonash's scream about what this Agent Wells would do caught Scera's immediate attention. She focused a great deal on what the man said next. After all the time she'd spent learning to survive the Vesk captain, knowing when he was lying or going to be angry, she'd become very adept at reading people. She looked straight at Agent Wells as she spoke, "He is genuinely concerned about this Argos person, and shocked you mentioned the mind wipe device, she nods in Brass' direction, "But he is trying to string you along until he can get what he wants. Then I fully expect he'll double cross you."

If you resist, we will use necessary force to keep our own interests and our mission safe. Do you comply?"

Wells is openly surprised about how much you knew about his thoughts.

His mouth hangs open a bit as he looks around and then locks his gaze on Vonash, an expression of stunned realization coming across his face. "Maybe I should have gone to the holo-flics more often," he grumbles to himself before shutting his mouth and letting himself be stripped down to his briefs.

He has the kind of body that says, 'I get up at 5 AM and immediately do 100 sit-ups followed by 5 sets of 20 pushups and then 5 minutes of jumping jacks before eating a healthy protein omelette for breakfast.' It isn't overly muscular, just overly disciplined. Even stripped to his briefs he stands up straight with his chest out. He has probably never slouched in his life.

The story that Wells tells of the future has Jade ponderous for quite a few moments. The entire situation was enough to make her realise how insignificant they all were. Even though she and the other Androids had the potential to live for hundreds of years, far longer than their human companions, there would come a time when they would all cease to exist.

She thought that she might still be alive when Moreau was from, but it was entirely possible that she had long since expired. She realised what would have happened if Moreau had successfully stolen their ship, they could be lost in another time, and without the means to even get elsewhere. It was entirely possible that they could die on a mission, in some forgotten past.

And in their absence, the worlds would keep spinning. The actions they could take in life would have a ripple effect - Their reputation years down the line, like Moreau's research, were things that would linger. What mattered, then, Jade decided, was what actions they took in their lives. And as sure as she had been about saving the owl's egg, she was equally sure that she did not want them using Moreau's research on more people. Especially suspecting that many of them did not exactly volunteer.

There would always be new enemies, and new battles to fight, and there were moves that could be made that they would lose themselves in the conflict. Was biological warfare not over the line? Then again, along those same lines, was conflict not what Brass was created for? Why was it okay to create life with the intent of throwing it into war, but not okay to alter life for the same purpose?

She looks at Scera, a being the same race as Vonash, perhaps even a distant descendent, but one that had had wildly different experiences from her. If Jade were to kill Moreau here, destroy his research, would it affect Scera's time? What would happen to the war Wells people were fighting, this malevolent Dark Tower. Was Moreau meant to help fight it?

And if Moreau would help in that fight, if it was of the utmost importance, would it not make more sense to bring him back to her own time, so there would be even more time to build on his research? Would it make a difference if she were to go with him and trade her academics of genealogy and biology into applicable experiments alongside him? What would become of humanity if they did?

When it comes to policing time, where does your jurisdiction end? Wells was the authority of his time just as she was an authority of hers. But they were both outside now, and who had priority? Going by the bigger picture, it would be Wells. And he was here for Moreau - her job was to investigate a beacon, she had done so. Wells's job was to arrest Moreau. It was simple. Was she in a position to interfere with that? And if she did, would she even be right to?

If humans in the future were like them - The deceptive and self-righteous Wells, the egotistical and cold Moreau, the others, guilty of crimes she wasn't even sure of - if the other humans of their time were all like them, were they even worth saving? She longed to know what happened to the Androids, the Lashunta, the Vesk in his time. But would knowing make the decisions in front of her any easier?

She shakes her head. "We should move everyone together. I believe we need to discuss our options for next steps."

The gear you stripped from Agent Wells, included a pair of nice black boots, a small device that looked like it flashes, socks, a shirt, a pair of pants, and a pair of black briefs.

The pants contained a wallet with a badge that says only Temporal Enforcement. The badge was covered in a layer that looked like a holographic film, like one of those pictures that looks different from different angles, but the badge looked the same from all of the angles. A single picture of a young boy was stuffed behind the badge.

He had nothing else on him, not even a pack of gum.

I'm not at all sure how much of this I should do online (the player really has no idea how to go about it without it seeming really hackneyed or possibly even offensive) but Vonash would take Scera aside and, telepathically, try to basically start the process to help her over the mental trauma that she has to be suffering under the circumstances (and I realize that the best I can possibly manage at this point would be "start").

But presumably between the telepathy, shared gender, shared species, and the fact that Vonash actually DOES have skills that the player doesn't she can start that process.

I think it makes sense that Vonash provides psychological support and I agree that a play-by-post might not be the best place to play that out in ways that seem legit. We can assume that Vonash provides that support mostly 'off camera'.

Brass is going to lead him out and wait for the group as everyone gets out. Then says, “I’m going to go check Moreau’s ship, help would be appreciated, the rest can bring him back to our ship and check on the others.”

Whatever military style precautions Brass takes while leading the group over to the research vessel Moreau stole go untested. The research vessel is much as you left it when Moreau tried to steal the Chariot.

If you want to search the ship's computer, a Computers check is appropriate.
If you want to examine Moreau's research in the lab, a Life Sciences check makes sense.
A Perception check works for a search of the ship, but if there are specific things you're looking for, identify them.

Life Science: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

She'd also look around the ship in general

Given the kind of experimentation being done, there seems to be the possibility of stored animal DNA samples. She'd definitely be looking for that

Keep in mind that when you aren't in danger, you can take 10. You can Take 20 if you are willing to spend time at it. Taking 10 means nothing is distracting you and you focus on the task. Take 20 means you keep at it until you've done your best with it no matter how long it takes.
