"Their queen?" Sapher wonders aloud "One of them called to another to alert their Queen. Even if they are insane rats, they are more than likely getting reinforcements." she is too far see them, and way to far to cast any spells at them. For a brief second she considers try to push Esrisi forward, but decides the plank might not hold, and the woman might end up in the sewage.

So she decides to wait in the back and guard their rear. She'll turn her gaze to the street, keeping watch, the exicting life of a pathfinder.

I’m seeing nothing that Adorellan can do from his location...so if you wanna advance, my action for him is to hold. Otherwise, we can wait for Mokhasi. *shrug*

Mokhasi waits on this side of the plank for a rope or some other way to cross to be extended. He casts a spell on Sapher and cleans off some of the muck, ”I hope this helps, thank you for healing Veltariel.”

Prestidigitation on Sapher to clean her, a bit.

Caroliss bless Vel with luck once again as she takes aim at the goblin hiding behind the crate, somehow she hits the little bugger in sqaure between the eyes and you hear it fall to the ground behind the crates. Drask moves up and stands in front of the door in an attempt to block further bolts from reaching his companions well Esrisi steps onto the plank, carefully balancing. She takes another shot with her crossbow but as she slips a bit she ends up knicking Vel with the shot rather than getting anywhere close to the goblins. Sapher, with no other options waits for some of the others to move before she can advance.

From somewhere deeper in the building you hear a woman shout out "To arms! Defend our base from the intruders!" When the woman shouts out you hear another goblin voice screech "Punch da Bruise sun samu su"

Goblin:
"Punch and Bruise go get them!"

Not long after you see two insectoid creatures that have two pairs of bat wings, a tangle of thin legs, and a needle-sharp proboscis flying down from the rafters at Drask.

Know. Arcana DC11:
You recognize the creatures as Stirge. You know these things are basically like over-sized mosquito's if they bite you they will latch on and start to drain your blood and are often times diseased.

Attack-Touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Attack-Touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Neither one of them manages to hit Drask. You also hear movement in the other room behind the crates.

The goblin that had previously been reloading pops up to take another shot at Drask.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 4

However, already prepared for the goblin's shot Drask is able to avoid it.

Damnit! This human wench will pay for her bumbling attempts at petty revenge! One near shot is an accident...two are not! But...we have company...need to deal with them first...from somewhere I won’t get shot in the back!

Veltariel nimbly slips past Drask and over to a corner before kneeling down and taking a shot at the goblin behind the crates.

Esrisi seems relieved when Veltariel moves into the next room and out of sight. She looks back to her companions outside and then back to Drask who now has more company. She calls back to the dwarf, "Sapher! Drask needs you in here RIGHT NOW, there are some flying things all over him now!."

Esrisi is in the way and isn't sure what to do to get out of the way. Remembering the dwarf in action earlier this morning, she knows she needs to be up front thought. "Sapher! Come up I'll guide you!"

Since Vel left, can Sapher walk across the plank without it snapping? Do I need to get out of her way? I can and will move into melee, but I'd rather Sapher got up here if she's willing to walk the plank. I can walk back and cast guidance on her.

This is not what being a Pathfinder is supposed to be about!

Esrisi moves forward and ducks past Drask only to find that Veltariel is in the corner, glaring at her. Worse yet, there is only one small space for her to move into between the elf and the half-orc. The tiny's shouldn't get an AoO on me.

Fantastic.

Ducking as she moves forward, she rounds the corner loads and loads another bolt into her cross bow and takes a deep breath as she slides in front of Veltariel holding her breath and closing her eyes for longer than she probably should.

Once Esrisi scampers across the plank, Sapher moves past the wizard with a polite excuse me, then does her best to cross the way too narrow piece of wood. "Bad construction for a bridge" she mumbles mostly to herself.

Their orc friend is covered horrible looking insects and has no idea if she can reach him. Running through a list of possibilities she chooses the worst, which is her usual lot. Grasping her holy symbol she opens her mouth to yell an ear piercing scream at the creature. While most inquisitors are blessed to have terrifying war cries or blood curdling howls, Sapher serves the goddess of love, and the very thought of the sound that actually comes from her mouth, makes her cheeks a rosy pink.

Caroliss gives Drask a bit of luck this time around and creates an illusion of Esrisi that moves with her. Mokashi warns Drask about the bug like creatures while he attempts to lob some acid at one of them. However, in an effort to avoid hitting anyone else he misses completely. Vel moves into the room and takes a shot at the goblin. If the crates hadn't been in the way she would have hit him square in the chest, but instead the arrow buries itself into the crate.

Drask plats one of the insect with a mighty swing of his greataxe, then decides to try and bite the other. However, he hesitates a moment wondering what might happen if he crunched into the bug and it causes him to miss. Esrisi hesitently follows Vel into the room and loads her crossbow. Sapher steps on the plank and makes her way up toward Drask as she opens her mouth to scream you all think she finds this battle a little more 'exciting' then the rest of you.

Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

However, whatever she did the bug pops and crashes to the ground.

The goblin hides again behind the crate as he reload his crossbow. Up in the rafters you see two goblins and a woman who pretty much exactly resembles Lady Heidmarches descrption of Natalya take up spots where they can shoot down at you. The two goblins aim their bows at you, while the Varisian woman points a crossbow in the groups direction.

When a duplicate image of herself appears she does her best Keanu impression and remarks "Whoa." as she looks down at herself in amazement.

Holding her crossbow in her hands, she takes note of the new arrivals above her. She takes aim at the goblins ahead behind the crates and then up at the ones in the ceiling. She moves her weapon back and forth as she tries to decide her target. She can't help but shoot a sideways glance over at Veltariel and whispers out of the corner of her mouth "Look, Veltariel. I'm sorry, that was an accident. I missed."

She takes aim at the goblin behind the crate ahead and fires her crossbow, but broken weapon jams and her bolt shoots the floor directly in front of her feet instead. She growls in frustration and loads another bolt into the broken weapon, pulling it back and preparing to fire again.

"Why is she your queen?"

As Caroliss’s magic wears off Natalya, her scowl promptly returns and in the midst of Esrisi talking she spits in her face! ”You come and invade my home, shot me with an arrow and compel me with magic and you say you mean me no harm!”

It is clearly evident that she has no intent of being talked down. She is either ridiculously prideful or there is some other reason for her to resist Esris’s lifeline.

Just wanted to make it clear so you all can act accordingly. Unless compelled through magic Natalya will attack and the goblins will follow.

She's lost it. Drask lunges forward to grab onto Natalya.

Esrisi sighs and drops her hands to her side. She shakes her head slowly, ”It didn’t need to come to this, you know.”

She shouts ”TAKE HER DOWN! I still want her alive!”

Eyeing their quarry, she casts a spell on the woman to slow her down a little bit. Casting bane on Natalya, DC15. Bane fills your enemies with fear and doubt. Each affected creature takes a –1 penalty on attack rolls and a –1 penalty on saving throws against fear effects.

Bane should work on all the bad guys!

Ha, it worked! Caroliss swells with pride as Natalya is compelled by the power of the Savored Sting to obey. So she is only more stunned when a defiant Natalya refuses to surrender. "Really, some people . . ."

She favors Vel again with good fortune so that her arrow will strike true! She also creates a duplicate of herself. Bit of Luck on Vel. Copycat on Caroliss.

Bane is a 50ft burst, not single target like Caroliss states. I didn’t mean to say it was only her!

Both of the goblins fall slip in the grease and fall backwards into the other room. You hear muffled splashes and screams as they apparently hit something wet. Vel ready to take a shot, no longer has any targets and stands there with her bow at the ready. Drask grabs a hold of Natalya while Esrisi unleashes some minor curse on Natalya and the nearby goblins. Sapher tries to pull her punch to only knock Natalya out but misses horribly. When Esrisi tells Sapher to just knock her out and that she will heal her Vel smirks and launches her held shot at Natalya.

Natalya screeches in pain and yells out to her minions "Kill the female elf!"

Esrisi reaches out and scoops her crossbow off the ground from where Drask dropped it and pulls another bolt out. The stock of the ranged device protests in her grip, the wood cracking and aging instantly when she touches it.

She jams the bolt into the crossbow and rakes it back, loading the weapon with a satisfying clicking sound. With the loaded crossbow in her hands, she extends it out towards Natalya but glances over at Veltariel next to her. Her arm trembles a bit, her aim shaky given the results from earlier. Decideing she shot enough in the direction of the elf for one day, she lowers her arm and looks over at and Caroliss and Drask. Holing the loaded crossbow out to them if either of them want to take it, dark coils of blackness wafting around it.

"It's loaded if you want it!" she offers.
