GM Tyranius |
Vinas' blade slides right past the creatures defenses and completely bypassing any sort of resistance to mortal weapons as it stabs into the floating daemon.
Tessenarin feels his body slow to a crawl as he slowly sings a song. His voice and song sound a bit off but the magic still holds. Vanyan's body lifts off the ground as gravity seems to reverse from underneath him. Aishe's bolt finds a place as it sticks into the swirling mass of tentacles. It plops into place as a brown ichor seeps from the wound.

Combat over as it escaped via Dimension Door
With the venedaemons taken care of the southern portion of the chamber presents itself. The eastern section of this marble-walled hall is blocked off by several tons of stone. Parts of the polished floor have been gouged by falling rock near the collapse. Archways exit this chamber to the north, west, and south. Messages are carved into the stone above each archway, but only a few words are still readable.
The words “Peace for Years” are visible above the northern archway to the servants’ crypts. The words “din at His Well” can still be seen above the western archway to the empty crypt. The phrase “Support Thy Master” remains above the southern archway to the stone stable. All the other writing that once adorned the archways is now illegible.

And he says so, pointing, "Hey, the western archway is narrower than the opening in the Boneyard version of Roslar’s Tomb. What do you think that means? Is it a trap?"
He looks at the arch in confusion.
Vanyan Kaleseder |

"You might be right here, what's going on here?" He asks and casts Detect Magic to supplement his eyes.
Vinas uth Antimanes |
"Back up." Vinas grabs some rubble and bowls it like skittles through the archway. He also concentrates on the auras, hunting for evil.
Atium of Varg |
The enemy leaves the scene and Atium lets loose some odd words, NO! I don't want to go yet. I want to stay longer!
But the exertion of the fight has caught up to him and the adrenaline leaves his body.
He bends both knees and puts his hands on them. His head tries to shake off the cobwebs of the Drake Totem and the charm spell juxtaposition.
Why do I feel this way? I feel awful.
He then swivels his head, noticing the other party members near that corridor.
Why are you all over there?
Why are you letting Vinas blow you up again? Remember that age door?
Or was that Aishe who blew us up.
GM Tyranius |
Vanyan glances closer at this oddity. He sees bits of bone protruding from portions of the walls, as well as swaths of flesh visible between slabs of stone. He quickly realizes that two sections of the walls are animated constructs which is why this entry way is a bit narrower.
Vinas uth Antimanes |
"Well then... What can we do about this?"
Vanyan Kaleseder |
"Constructs!" Vanyan recoils, taking his silver spear back from Atium. "Get your hammer ready. They won't be easy to kill," Vanyan moves back.
"They are probably made of bone and stone, so you know, hit them hard," Vanyan states the obvious.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 Know (Religion)
He will shout out anything he knows about the creature(s).
GM Tyranius |
Vanyan recognizes these as living walls. resistant to most damage unless it is slashing. Also resistant to acid, cold and fire.
A living wall is a construct built out of the bodies of many creatures and mortared together with liquefied flesh. Like a gelatinous cube, it fills an entire 10-foot square, allowing it to completely block a hallway. Several living walls placed next to one another can obstruct an entire room. Its normal method of attack is to creep into range to make slam attacks, then push opponents against other walls and crush them to death. Living walls follow basic orders and are normally used to block access to certain parts of their creator’s lair—to get through a living wall, it must be killed and hacked apart to create a space other creatures can pass through. Living walls can be ordered to stack themselves on top of each other to reach higher ceilings, but this requires a ramp to allow one to climb onto the other. A living wall rises 8 to 10 feet high and weighs 4,000 pounds. The appearance of each one varies wildly depending on the creatures used to make up its constituent parts.
Vanyan Kaleseder |
”Oh, not the hammer. Something more slashy, *WANK*,” Vanyan corrects what he thought was right, but really wasn’t.
He looks to Tess to start with a song or for Aishe to fire some arrows into the floor or ceiling to begin things. He draws a dagger, as that might be most useful against the wall...but then believes that lightning may affect it, and instead he begins to summon the lightning.
When the spell is ready, he’ll send a bolt down at the wall when others are ready.

Picking through the rubble on the dais, you easily find a stone tile several inches across. The image of a thin blade, similar to a rapier, is carved into one side of the tile.
The remaining room to the south stands wide open as well.
This unusual room is decorated to look like a stable, with the image of a large window overlooking a grassy meadow carved into the eastern wall. Another carving along the southern wall depicts most of a sturdy horse, though the beast’s head has been chipped away. A message above the carving reads “No Greater Friend,” but the rest of the words are missing. An archway exits to the north.
A gaping hole in the ceiling appears to open onto another chamber above.
