Great work team, that combat was super duper tough. It had us totally on the ropes. Our Will saves are pathetic, but it made for one heck of a fight that could have been a player killer.

Also, there is no cheese. No special cheese at all. Not carefully stored in special waxed paper or anything. And it's not fancy cheese either. Sheesh.


You better resolve that in character, because an empty stomached Atium could use some cheese and crackers to get over the nausia. He's not about to let this topic go.

PRops to Vanyan and Aishe and GM for yesterday's detailed and vivid posts. I visualized the rooms and the scene clearly. While Atium wouldn't be as involved as a player, I ate it up (along with the slice of "reward" cheese).


Challengers Gloves are up for others to use. I think Atium might be a decent candidate for them. He has a one handed weapon, so it's possible to use them in a future one on one combat. Are there others that have a better option? Tessenarin seems to be one that could use it.

    Yes, can do. I,too, think we are missing something but if its magical darkness the light spell won't do squat.

    Sorry Vanyan. Have not seen SnakeEyes . There were a slew of movies around that time with Nick Cage that just SCREAMED that they were terrible. Ghostrider being a perfect example. This one two. Nick carried Leaving Las Vegas and Con Air success into signing up for about 6 stinkers.

    @ GM- I can totally agree with you. The Module could have really made the old lady character so much more sympathetic or at least more complex.
    In playing Atium, I really felt he (rightfully) would be frustrated with the number of encounters where we are trying to be diplomatic and get the short end of the stick. As a character, he really would have been more patient if at least one of the interactions was more of a two way street.
    Our last "real" diplomacy was waaay back when we talked with the two funny psychopomps right after the tomb.

    Good job running the adventure!
