I know it's very last minute and Ratatat is out of tier but would anyone mind if Ratatat joins in? He's a soldier built for ranged combat but happy to have him play meat shield as he's level 4.

Mind!? Ratatat just helped another one of my level 2 characters survive (just barely) to make level 3! Keyrock is even less effective in combat, though he might try to convince you otherwise, and could use the help!

Keyrock has fine Bluff/Diplomacy/Intimidate (+9 w/ Bluff expertise) for captain, that is only if folks are willing to listen to him (and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't).

Otherwise, he is a passable science officer (+6) and mediocre Gunner (+1).

You are the GM and a quite capable one based on prior games where I had the pleasure of sharing the table with you. I trust you to play this out as best you see fit (and within OP rules). I am not trying to "break" the scenario, but having played this a few times before, I thought I would try a different approach different than that which I've seen used in the past and, for that matter, also try using a tactic that would be somewhat... unique... to this character.

If Keyrock can obtain the tablet using his... er... "skill set", then he will try to do so. If Keyrock thinks he can convince Bogdin to release the tablet in exchange for a cessation of any and all pending and future legal actions, then he will attempt to do so. If he thinks he cannot, he still proposes using the threat of a pending/possible future legal action as an "excuse" to gain entry into the club and hopefully brandish the threat of legal action as a way to get Bogdin's attention and possibly serve as a distraction while others do the "heisting".

Of course, Keyrock's current plans are also based on his assumptions of he local laws, which could be way off. He may attempt to initiate a lawsuit and find the clerk unwilling to do so without a sufficient bribe, etc.

I think that's a perfectly wonderful attempt at distraction (that may or may not fail spectacularly or work excellently), no matter what Solenopsi thinks about dwarven lawyers. ;)

It's a convention thing (and game day thing for places with RSP and now online games under OSP). Most conventions have boons to give away, some system aimed at giving away boons 10% of seats (including GM). Big cons, like GenCon, use a token system where you accrue tokens to cash in. Others just do dice where 2 numbers are winners.

yes. Since this game was under the Outpost II banner there are additional opportunities for player boons. Much the same way as a normal Gaming Convention.

Am I correct I can't use a promotional reroll for the Day job as this is a quest? If so, then Chronicle looks good.

GM, just a couple things on my chronicle. I think the creds should be 1090 rather than 1050. And it appears Outpost was typed in as Outpist.

But to be honest, it's no big deal. I'd gladly pay the 40 creds to have the event name on the sheet be Outpist! Hahah!
