Ehm Sven Nien |
Hmm... Ok, guess I remembered wrong. For some reason, I thought the fire had worked on the lemures.
Any of youse wants ta get up close an personal with these beasties?
Will delay until someone indicate they want in melee, then he will withdraw to the back of the group. If no one wants to melee then he will go on complete defense while others use ranged attacks.
Old-Man Magnu |
Magnu is happy to go to the front. If you move he can full attack.

Torvald Stonecask |
Torvald sighs and resolves to complete his shock bomb formula at the first available opportunity, then steps to the front of the group and hunkers down behind his shield.
At work and can't move my token, could someone put me at the front of the group? Using Total Defense. That makes my AC 25 including the mutagen
Old-Man Magnu |
Magnus ac is a 23. If you go in front of him the creatures will have cover so it will take him much longer to kill them. Save you tanking for when Magnu gets weak if you don't mind.
"Thank you brave Torvald. I don't need the protection just yet, but soon I'm sure."

after the creatures are destroyed the bodies had nothing of interest on them, you continue from where they were and look to your right to see the collapsed area but to the left the hallway opens up
Two ways to go, left or back through the other rooms
Daylin Vane |
"I think that's likely." says Daylin. "The devils attacking the inn came for Vegazi, but the ones down here appear to be looking for something. These minor devils were summoned to do a job, and I wouldn't be surprised if whoever or whatever summoned them is down here as well."
He tightens the strap on his shield and grips his morning star with purpose. "Stay sharp my friends. The Light is with us."
Daylin begins to move east toward the open area.
Evermore Q'Strip |
Evermore follows, Oh don't say that. The light night
Htbe from a summoning circle to conjure these things. Or from a fire they set. Maybe it's from a portal to hell? Who knows, we've seen enough. Time to turn around... Evermore isn't the biggest fan of continuing, but that is probably because he is afraid of his own shadow the light cast on the stone ground. He reluctantly comes along.
Ehm Sven Nien |
As they approach the large open area, Ehm keeps his eyes open and strains to hear any sounds.

Daylin Vane |
Knowledge (Planes) on Red: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
As darkness extinguishes the light from his shield and buries him in blind shadows, Daylin frowns and hunkers down. Just then he feels the searing fangs of the strange hell beast sink into his arm and he can't help but cry out from the pain. He tears his arm away, puts away his morning star and grabs his holy symbol, holding it aloft.
"Sarenrae! Bolster your servants!" he says, as much to encourage his comrades in the darkness as for any other reason. Then he closes his sightless eyes and concentrates, and sends a wave of positive energy flooding outward.

Is this an orc and a hellhound we're fighting? I barely understand what's happening right now.

miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 25 Crap!
miss placement: 1d8 ⇒ 8
That puts it in Red's square. So Red, White, and Daylin all take splash damage of 6 fire. Reflex save of 14 for half.
Sorry Daylin, I will switch to my gun.
GM Sapphire Fox |
Red you were able to identify as a Hellhound, and for Special Defense, it is immune to fire
for white, you can ID it as a Tiefling but nothing else
no damage to Red from the bomb

just to move this along, Evermore does manage to kill the tiefling, and pretty decently as well.
