Blessing of Ashava:
Ashava’s blessing has granted a temporary form of lycanthropy that is fully under your control. This has no influence on your character’s alignment, personality, or motivations unless you would like to make this a transformative experience for your character. The blessing has the following effects.

You can change shape. You have three forms—your typical form, a wolf form, and a hybrid form. You can shift to any of your three forms as a move action. If this PC has earned the Celestial Lycanthropy boon from #10–05: Mysteries Under Moonlight, Part 1, you gain that boon’s benefits for free for this entire scenario.

HYBRID FORM
If you shift to your hybrid form, you gain the following benefits.
Senses: Your senses sharpen, granting you darkvision (60 feet), low-light vision, and scent.
Defenses: You gain DR 5/silver and a +2 bonus to natural armor.
Attacks: You gain a bite attack that deals 1d6 points of damage if you are Medium or 1d4 if you are Small. If the bite attack hits, you can attempt a combat maneuver check to trip your target as a free action.
Pack Leader: You can communicate and empathize with wolves. You can use Diplomacy to alter a wolf’s attitude, and you gain a +4 racial bonus on the check when doing so.

WOLF FORM
If you shift to your wolf form, you gain all of the benefits listed for the hybrid form as well as the following two effects.
Speed: Your base speed increases to 50 feet.
Wolf Shape: All of the gear that you are carrying or wearing melds into your body until you switch to another form. All items that give constant bonuses still give their bonuses, except armor, which does not function. Unless you have other feats or class features that would allow you to do so, you cannot speak, cast spells, or manipulate objects that would require the use of hands.

DR doesn't care about lethal versus non-lethal damage. Personally I suggest people start using Aid Another with the highest damage dealer. Gelly's Magic Missiles will slowly yet surely chip away.
You could also just retreat, but who knows what will happen to the woman they captured...

Magic Missiles ignore concealment, it's only halted by Spell Resistance. Go for it.

Vornsk again tries to wake the kidnapped woman with the healing spell stored in her wand.
We could roll three rounds at once (if strategies will not change).
What would I have to do to discover if there is any counter to the miss chance? Does the pinpoint aspect of scent help? Or maybe know if it has a time limit?

Vornsk's wand activates, and the woman rouses awake, still wounded. She coughs. "Who are you... Is Mairisse alright?" She takes a defensive position before standing up.

Claw: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

She remains standing and prepares to leave. "I trust you can handle them. They can hide in dim light but not bright lights."

Hopfrey hits the purple fairy as Gelly blasts the red one.

I am not sure if his hydro blade counts for flanking, but if it does V will ready each round to use it (included).

Glorne grasps his hands together. The cool, pale mist that surrounds his body flares up, intensifies between his hands as a blade of pure cold, and he swings at the fairy, then the blade dissipates.

Glorne will attack Purple until it's dead, then move to attack Red. I re-posted the information on the Kinetic Blade power on Discussion Tab.

Round 13
The party promptly piles on the pugnacious red remnant. Rilia and Vornsk bop it, and Jelly's magic missile finishes it off.

Vornsk took 9 damage and 1 non lethal.
Hopfrey took 8 damage and 1 non lethal.
Jelly took 3 damage and 1 non lethal.
Glorne took 3 damage.

The woman looks at the fallen fairies with a look of shame. "I tried to warn them. They turned to a dark god and aim to please her above all else. Even if that means sacrificing their old friends." She unconsciously feels her tattered cloak, wincing as she feels the holes.

”Thank you all for rescuing me. My name is Cybelle. Mairisse and I patrol the Mushfens. About a week ago, a great evil approached these lands and poisoned us, robbing our abilities.”

She looks at some of you and smiles. ”I see. Luyvire still lives, then? Are you here to help cleanse the area? I will help however I can, but-” Her arm twitches and she grunts. ”I cannot help you directly. I must return to Mairisse. Please, take this. I did not have time to use it before they attacked me.”

She hands you a satchel containing two small pouches. Each pouch is a use of dust of emulation. Also inside the satchel is a potion of fly, a ring of protection +1, a scroll that contains animal messenger, lesser restoration, and resist energy, and a wand of cure moderate wounds (CL 5th, 5 charges).

Any questions for her? Any healing you wish to perform?

With both hands she brings the club down again and again and again upon the pint-sized fairy grunting under the strain of each swing. Then after she is sure it is dead dead dead, Rilia straightens adjusts the strap on her dress and blows the hair out of her eyes.

@Rilla: read your character sheet. You have the +2 to Identify magic items that an Elf receive, but I didn't see the +2 to beat Spell Resistance that Elves also receive. Just trying to help.

Assuming Rilla using the wands, but I will roll UMD if that assumption is too much. :) 4 more charges from the wand, 5 if the failed attempt uses a charge.

Not one for conversations, Vornsk asks questions none-the-less (in her stilted common.)
"Why do te fairies carry you? Why not leave you for deat? Where tey take you?"
"What poison steals your power? What power?"
"What god is tis dark power?"

UMD for a wand does not burn a charge unless it works. Only problem when it fails is a Natural "1" causes the wand to stop working for That user for 24 hours. You can always pass it to someone else if that happens. I know because I have a 10L pre-unchained summoner that uses UMD quite often (his current is +19).

Opps...I guess I should have posted this on discussion. Sorry boss.

Cybelle responds. "I'm not sure why they brought me here. Maybe you intercepted them. There is a malevolent force which permeated this forest, a week ago. The fairies worshipped the sunlight, but now they worship the darkness. Mairisse and I tried to convince them to calm down, but..." Cybelle pauses and feels her wounds."They subdued me. And tore my cloak to shreds. It is the source of many powers. I will return to Marisse to recover. If you can cut off the source of this evil, maybe we can save the other fairies. Thank you for saving my life."

Cybelle wishes you goodbye as you continue following the illuminated path through a burrow.

A layer of dense fog covers the landscape like a pale shroud. Distant howls of anguish and the discordant sound of bells rattling in the wind inexplicably echo in the distance. Ambiguous shapes begin to form but then dissipate back into the mists as quickly as they appeared. With each step, the loamy odor of wet earth and oakmoss wafts up, mingling with the sharp scent of ozone and a faint aroma of flowers. A damp chill hangs in the air.

You find yourself surrounded by thick, impenetrable fog. You can only see about 5 feet ahead, even with darkvision. Even the celestial werewolves cannot see the trail. Your worst fears manifest in front of you as the fog twists and turns into familiar and frightening shapes.

From the misty void, a raspy, disembodied voice cuts through the din. “Beautiful,” it whispers slowly. “Delicious. All these lovely fears you’ve brought for me. Let me see them. Let me peer deep into your soul and free them from their cage, where you’ve tried to lock them up so tightly.”

You feel compelled to speak of your greatest fears:

  • What is your fear-your real fear? The one you harbor at your very core.
  • What happened that caused the fear? Or have you forgotten?
  • When does your fear assault you? Does it haunt your dreams at night? Does it lurk in quiet moments?

You must answer, but you can be honest, evasive or false. Give a response and then tell me which option you chose.
