Interested in the Weapon, the Blessing is an upgrade but not a crucial one. Agna could also take an Item 2 for Draughtcap Fungus which would benefit everyone since we're sticking together most of the time (Olenjack would benefit most). The downside is it would replace Angelstep.

Tier Reward: Charisma +1 (Skill Feat). I think my combats are solid for the time being given how much free help there is on checks and the fact we mostly stick together. So, I can start branching feats into other areas to shore up my non-combat checks and make them more likely to succeed with only minimal assistance.

Deck Upgrade: Not interested in any of them. At this point, only 3's would be solid upgrades for me.

    Delve is banish-on-use for me, but it's a smidgen better than Call Potion and there's no other deck upgrades that are worth anything to me. As a result, I'll take it if nobody else wants it at all.

    Olenjack replaces the following Empty Card Slots.

  • Empty Spell Slot with Call Potion (Ultimate Equipment, Spell 0).
  • Empty Ally Slot with Fencer (Ultimate Equipment, Ally 0).

    As an aside, Marionette is a surprisingly good spell... at least in Mummy's Mask. In my table as MM Ezren, I convinced our Zarlova player to give it a go and she ended up keeping the spell all the way into AD6 due to the sheer variety of enemies that it was strong against, whilst allowing her to pierce attack-immunities.

    He would take the Blessing 2, if it remains available. After that, he'll take whatever is best and available.

    Not interested in loot. While an Ally 3 would be a nice-to-have for me, all my existing allies are also pretty solid. Plus I got an Ally 3 last time. So, I'll let other people have it.

    As such I'll just take a Blessing B and replace my final Blessing of the Gods with Blessing of Asmodeus (which is a B card in Ultimate Intrigue surprisingly enough). It'll still be swapped out for Blessing of Besmara 100% of the time, however. (which is why I never bothered upgrading the BotG until now)

    CHARACTER CONVERSION - OLENJACK

    Following the application of scenario and adventure rewards, here is Olenjack's necessary character conversion to the new ruleset, if needed.

    This does mean I won't be entitled to anymore feats for this entire next adventure - my Role card has ensured that I've hit the power feat cap before even earning one for my tier, and the Card Feat cap was reached and exceeded due to extra rewards and the Assault on Absalom special.

    Out of mild spite, I may Tier-Up early again soon, because going 6+ scenarios without any feat upgrade sounds tiresome, especially when there are power feats I seriously want (Hand Size and Weapon Proficiency).

    Figured out my issue with my deck handler: I overcharged on blessing card feats because what I had checked off on my character card didn't match what I actually reported above for previous scenarios.

    So: my Tier 3 card feat (from 5-3D), should have been Ally instead of Blessing. For deck composition, I would have kept Sorrowsoul in-place and filled the empty Ally slot with the Dreamstalker I took as the deck upgrade. This means I effectively ran one scenario with an invalid deck, so handle that as you will. I don't personally believe it made much of a difference.

    For conversion to Guide 6.0, I'm assuming that my power feat limit is Tier+1 (due to the bonus power feat earned from gaining role card), per discussion in Hangouts. My skill and card feat limits are both equal to my Tier.


    Maznar would be most interested in the Spell 3, followed by Ally 4.
    Spell 3 for Divine Blaze: 1d1000 ⇒ 656
    Ally 4 for Bear: 1d1000 ⇒ 853


    I think I'm only interested in the Item 4 upgrade (Magnetic Grimoire).

    This gives me free rerolls on literally every check I make, which is amazingly powerful. I have no idea why I didn’t pick this one up last time.

    Gain a Hero Point, which I’ll use on a Card Feat—2 Armors. Empty Armor slot will be filled with Blackcloth Armor (Armor 2). This also puts me at the feat cap of 4/5/5 until I hit Tier 5.

    Deck upgrade: Weapon 4–Replace Punching Dagger with Invigorating Kukri +1. This will still be swapped out for Brine’s Sting most of the time, but on scenarios where extra healing is important I can keep this in and swap out Bloodcrow Rapier or another weapon instead.

    I feel left out! Every character in the team has a power that lets them reveal a card to add a bonus to any/all of their checks (either 1d4s or Rerolls) except me!

    My display-allies-for-a-turn for a bonus doesn't count, hush!


    Sorry, was waiting for the upgrade conversation to die down before doing feats, in case something came up. Looks like it is all set:

    Power Feat: [X] Add 1d6 to your check against a bane that has the Aberration or Undead trait.

    Card Feat: Blessing [X] 7

    Filling empty Blessing card slot with Blessing of Ketephys


    4A Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 10


    I'm most interested in an Item 2, and it seems there are enough to go around.
    I've no strong preference on ships, but why not take the Dragon for a spin?
